Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. All kinds of soil (HSR No. 4.12.1)

Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m: Pipes, cables etc. exceeding 300 mm metre dia but not exceeding 600 mm (HSR No. 4.16.1.3)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work below plinth level and up to Floor IV level: 1 :4: 8 ( 1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-Ill) : 8 graded cum stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) (HSR No. 6.1.6)

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc., up to floor four level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing: 1 :3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-Ill) : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) (HSR No. 6.2.3)

Providing lowering cutting jointing and testing RCC pipe class NP 3 as per 18-458-2003 with spigot & socketed joints manufactured with ISi marked sulphate resistance cement as per ISi 12330 with rubber rings ISi marked antiternmite as required at site in to trenches for all depths and laying out the same to correct alignment gradients and levels including dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and side of trenches, if required jointing with rubber rings in trenches and jointing with 1: 3/2 cement sand mortar and with end dowels filled with 1: 3/2. cement sand mortar and finishing the joints at an angle of 45 degree with faces of spigot of socket joints cutting and finishing the cut surface to a uniform finish etc. as fully described in item No . 21.38, item 21.44, item 21.45, & item 21.46 including cartage loading and unloading complete in all respects. the internal diametric of the sewer being 900mm (HSR No. 21.95.8)

Providing and fixing gate and gearing (NS Item)

Removing hume pipes-NP 2/NP 3/NP 4 including excavation and taking out the pipes manually/ by mechanical means and stacking the pipes within standard lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge above 600 mm dia (HSR No. 5.53.2)

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge In cement mortar (HSR No. 5.7.4)
