Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide & n.exc 1.5m in depth getting out in hard/ dense soil for laying & removing of pipe any sizes complete all as specified and as directed.

-do- all as per Item No.1 above but getting out in soft disintegreted rock/ laterite rock.

Returning and filling including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick using hard/dense soil complete all specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material to distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at all level not exc 1.50 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up old GI tubing and connection from the trenches / floor or walls of the following sizes complete all as specified and as directed :- Note :- Excavation & earth work will be measured and paid separately under the relevant items of Sch 'A'.

Repair of valve chamber by cleaning and removing small bushes inside and surrounding the valve chamber and necessary precast solid block masonry in cm 1:6, plastering in cement mortar 1:4, painting with antifungal paint of 2 coats inside and out side including dismantling of unserviceable MS sheet cover, S & F new MS sheet cover of 3.15mm thick with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide to steel surface and locking arrangements, including necessary welding for internal size of valve chamber of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 60 cm (internal dimension) all as directed.

Note: Entire area to be cleaned quarterly and measurement also will take accordingly or as directed by Engr in charge

M & L for painting of valve chamber of any size with two coats of antifungal paint inside and outside of chamber and chamber cover with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer including replacement of rusted / damaged metal hinges / locking by welding with valve chamber frame and removing small bushes and grass inside & outside of valve chamber all as specified and directed

M & L for construction of precast concrete solid block masonry in cm 1:6 valve pit chamber of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 600 mm (internal dimension) including necessary excavation and earthwork, PCC 1:4:8, brick work in cement motar 1:4, 12 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on internal surface of valve pit and mild steel sheet cover 05mm thick and mild steel angle iron frame size 50mm x 50 mm x 06mm around of valve pit, locking arrangement with pad lock of size 50 mm brass, 6 leavers and key( make ; Godrej) complete including two coat of synthetic enamel over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surface with preparation of surface and including dismantling of existing valve pit complete all as specified & as directed.
