Upkeeping sewage system of Mil station Nabha comprises periodic cleaning of manholes, Septic Tanks (25 to 750 users), removing blockage inside the building from EWC/WC/floor trap/gully trap, cleaning serwer line 100 to 200 mm dia etc so as to maintain the system obstruction free by cleaning, removing any type of blockage in any kind of manhole, soak well, septic tank or lines by deploying adequate manpower and suitable T&P so as to avoid damage to the line/structure complete all as specified and as directed.
Note:- (i) Sewage network under Mil station Nabha consists appx 350 Nos Manholes, 1.00 Km long pipe line (Dia of pipe up to 200mm) and its connected structures. (ii) Contractor will arrange suitable T & P such as mechanical rodding with vibrations/drilling concept ie trolley mounted mechanised sewer cleaning machine as required for upkeeping the system blockage free including desludging, descaling, flushing the entire stretch with vehicle KAMBI 6LCN mounted with compressor and suction tank. (iii) Contractor or his rep will report daily at the complaint cell of MES for collection of complaints from the concerned JE's Incharge, on failure a penalty of Rs. 500/- per day in addition to recovery on account of delay in attending the complaints will be charged. (iv) Immediately after lodging daily complaints by the users or directed by the JE/EIC consequent to his routine check, the concerned JE shall intimate/hand over the complaint to the contractor or his rep for attending complaints to the satisfaction of user / Engineer-in-charge within 24 Hrs. In case of failure to attend the complaint within specified period, a penalty of Rs.100/- per day per complaint shall be imposed on the contractor for the period the work remains incomplete. After 03 days from the date of handing over of complaint, the unattended complaints shall be got completed from any other agency at the risk and cost of the contractor without any notice to him (v) In case of disputes as to delay happened in attending the complaint or inadequate period, decision of Accepting Officer shall be final, conclusive and binding.
Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.50 Mtr wide and not exceeding 1.50 Mtr in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed Engineer-in-Charge
Dismantling of brick work built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars, arches etc complete all as specified
Brick work using Sub Class "B" brick straight or curved on plan not exceeding 6 Mtr means radius built in CM 1:6 complete all specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
Brick work using Sub Class "B" brick straight or curved on plan not exceeding 6 Mtr means radius built in CM 1:4 complete all specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
All as per Serial items No. 5.00 here-in-before but using old serviceable bricks
Brick work with old size sub class 'B' bricks of class designation 100 straight or curved on plan to any radius , in half brick thick wall as in sides of the drains, built in cement mortar (1:4) and pointed flush as work proceeds complete all as specified.
Taking down cement plaster on brick work or stone walls, etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc complete all as directed.
Cement plaster 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work in cement mortar 1:4 and finished even and smooth without using extra cement with/without WPC complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge (WPC where required shall be measured and paid separately)
Supply only integral water proofing compound conforming to IS specification.
Preparation of new plastered surface or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement based paint over one coat of cement base primer all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone agg as in benching of manholes, coping, plinth course, bands, stops, hold fast etc. incl necessary form works complete all specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charges
Demolition by breaking up drain pipes salt glazed stone ware pipe any dia jointed in cement mortar and taking out of from trenches removing the debris from site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
Salt glazed stoneware drain pipes (Grade ‘A’), 150mm bore, laid in trenches at any depth including jointing and testing complete, all as specified and directed.
Salt glazed stoneware drain pipes (Grade ‘A’), 200mm bore, laid in trenches at any depth including jointing and testing complete, all as specified and directed.
Plain cement concrete (1:4:8), type D-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregates as in concrete bed to drain pipes of 150 mm bore laid to falls in trenches in any depth including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes with concrete after the pipes are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed. (In case of pipe line is laid in replacement of old pipe, old concrete bed shall be reused and only concrete in haunching, packing shall be measured & paid)
Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position complete all as specified
RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in precast slabs for covers of manholes and set in CM 1:6 incl necessary from work and placing of manhole covers complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
8mm dia and over mild steel TMT bars as in reinforcement, cut to length, bent to shape required, incl cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns and binding with MS wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.
Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm thick, in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed. (Surplus soil if any shall not be removed but left protrude the trench as directed by Engr-in-Charge)
Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc.,for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and icluding either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings and hanging; and also fatening and fixing complete gdc FC 410-O all as specified
Preparation of new steel surfaces of any desctiption over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified.
