Excavation in earth work in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Roads clause 1600 and 300, 8.3 (ii)(iv)(v) to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut material in specified manner, trimming, filling of uneven ness, blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for smooth riding. At least 320.00 only cubic metre useful stone shall be recovered from the contractor in each running bill as per pro-rata basis if fails recovery @ Rs. 170/- (Rupees one hundred seventy) per cum will be made. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Excavation in soil in Hilly area by manual means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.50 meters and lead upto 20 meters as per drawing and Technical specifications clauses 1603.1 including all leads and lifts, as per HP:PWD, specification of 1990 Volume-I as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202, and 1203. PCC Grade M-20 (1) Nominal Mix 1:2:4) including carriage of all labour, material and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 vol.I and as per direction of Engineer in Charge at site in all leads and lifts.

Providing and laying cement concrete1:5:10 with 15% plum and curing complete including the cost of form work for plain/reinforced concrete in retaining walls, breast walls, the size of plum should be 150 to 300mm as per drawing and HPPWD technical specifications. including carriage of all labour, material and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 vol.I and as per direction of Engineer in Charge at site in all leads and lifts.
