Excavation in earth work in hilly area in all heights and depths in all kind of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock . All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side,water pollution, etcetra and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried,out true to lines,grades,side slopes, width, camber super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge,in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road. clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 of general conditions for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal and dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner,trimming,filling of unevenness,blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer -in -Charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones,whether useful or not, for 14620.48 cum(fourteen thousand six hundred twenty point fourty eight cubic metre)in all cases,@ rupees 170/- only(Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro- rata basis in all circumstances . Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Providing and laying bituminous concrete 30 mm (thirty millimetre)with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 509 complete in all respectsby mechanical means as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material through all modes of trasportation within all leads and lifts and other incidentials.The rate includs octroi royality, Malkana ,Tol tax ,sale tax or any other taxes imposed by the Goverment.
