Repair of Bituminous Road at OFHOEFC Kanpur.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm. putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and seated with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings). depth of potholes exc. 30 mm.

Preparing surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.(Black top surface).

M&L Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sq metre (paving bitumen).

M&L Bituminous premixed (plant mixed) carpet 2 cm consolidated thickness, with 0.27 cum. of stone chippings mixed with 14.6 kg of binder, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient (paving bitumen).

M&L Premixed (plant mixed) sand seal coat with 0.06 cu.m. of sand mixed with 6.8 kg of bitumen, applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface (paving bitumen)

M&L Premixed (plant mixed)bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less).

Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads pavements and the like n exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow as directed by EIC/SIC.

Removing debris, all loose and disintegrated material, aggregate etc, removed from road and roadside to a minimum distance of 5Km and above including loading and unloading .
