Supply, laying, jointing & testing in trenches or passing through pipe, 1100 volts grade, XLPE insulated PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured LT electric power UG cables, heavy duty with stranded aluminium conductor of cross sectional area 240 sqmm 3.5 core with and including all fixing & connecting accessories such as Alluminium cable lugs, cable gland, nut, bolts, washer etc complete as specified and as directed. (Note: Rate of under ground cable includes earth Work, sand cushioning, brick or PCC covering, light Grade GI tubing where necessary,testing etc.)

Supply and lay dry river sand filling for under ground cable protection with a layer of 8cm deep before laying and 15cm covering above the top edge of cable after laying complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying sub class B bricks of size 25cmx12.5cmx7.5cm (+/-10% tolerance) for protection of UG cable with width equal to length of bricks as mechanical protection laid dry and flat complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L horizontal boring for 80 mm dia across the existing road without disturbing the road surface for inserting GI pipe complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Removal of surplus soil shall be deemed to be include in the unit Rate. (ii) GI pipe will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of Sch 'A'.
