REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS AT AF STATION AMLA

Material & labour for on load filtration of transformer oil by continuous circulation of transformer oil through mechanical filters to achieve the desired dielectric strength of 60 KV for one minute at 2.5 mm gap including filtration of new transformer oil required for top up to oil conservator level complete all as specified. Note: 1.Oil samples are to be collected from top and bottom of oil tank and test results to be submitted by the contractor for each sample before and after filtration. 2. New transformer oil required for top up will be measured & paid separately under item No 2.

Supply and topping up new transformer oil as per IS-335 of dielectric strength 60 KV at 2.5 mm gap in transformers of various capacity installed in various locations . Notes : (a) New Transformer oil in the transformer will be filled in the transformer only after filtration and dehydration of existing transformer oil of the transformer. (b) Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed barrel with test result and test certificate to be submitted by the contractor.

Taking out old/ exhausted silica gel from transformer breather, cleaning of the breather assembly, supply and filling new silica gel in the breather complete re-fixing of the breather assy with the transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs breather assembly of the transformer of 1/2 Kg capacity, any shape, any dia suitable to fit for existing transformer assembly, complete all as specified and as directed .NOTE: Shape/type should be as per existing transformer at site.

Disconnect of Electric supply , GI / Copper strip and taking down distribution transformer carefully lifting by crane . Transporting the transformer safely to the workshop and back for repair . Re- install , re - connect of electric supply , GI / Copper strip and testing on load all as specified and as directed for the following capacity of transformers .

Capacity 200 KVA to 400 KVA

Capacity 50 KVA to 150 KVA

Opening the top of the Distribution transformer 11KV/430 Volts, draining out transformer oil, cleaning the internal portion of tank, core and connections by mechanical means and force feeding of transformer oil and flushing out deposits, sludge etc, and closing the top complete all as specified and directed for the following capacity of transformers:-

Capacity 200 KVA to 400 KVA

Capacity 50 KVA to 150 KVA

Material and labour for Rewinding of transformer Step up / down , HV Coils complete with existing size/ electrolytic copper conductor design with TPL covering, re-assembling of newly wounded coils on core in position including re- insulation oven baking and testing complete all as specified & directed for the 50-500KVA transformers . .

Material and labour for preparation of surfaces and painting of transformers any capacity by spraying with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for preparation of surfaces and painting of Mild steel Trolley in rectangular shape, dimension approx is 3mx2.2m and area is 6.6 Sqm by spraying with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick and burried directly in ground(earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level, connected to earth plate with GI strip of size 25X4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.3 connected to earthing test point complete, all as specified and indicated including testing on completion including PCC pit (1:3:6) type C-1 in cement concrete & 40 mm thick precast RCC cover in (1:1:5:3) type A-1 reinforced with 6 mm dia TMT round bar @ 75 c/c both ways with 02 Nos lifting handles of 8 mm dia MS plain bar, GI pipe 20 mm dia medium grade with funnels & wire mesh for watering and 50 mm dia light grade GI pipe for earth lead protection etc including necessary earthwork and excavation complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Quantity of GI strip/ protection pipe beyond 7.5mtrs length will be measured separtely.

Material and labour Galvanised iron strip as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of size 25 X 4 mm

Material and labour for Earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60cm x 3.15mm thick and buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level, connected to Copper earth plate with Copper strip of size 20 x 03 mm by means of bolts, nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 complete, all as specified including PCC pit (1:3:6) type C-1 in cement concrete 40 mm thick precast RCC cover in (1:2:4) type B-1 reinforced with 8 mm dia MS round bar @ 75 c/c both ways with 01 No lifting handle of 12mm dia MS plain bar, GI pipe 32 mm dia light grade for protection up to 7.5 mtr and GI tubing 20 mm for watering including GI funnel with wire mesh etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour Copper strip as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of size 20 x 3 mm

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.50 meter in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading leveling , watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus soil not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 mtr above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down / out LT UG cable of the any sizes from trenches / ducts / pole complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and laying in trenches XLPE armoured cable heavy duty 1100 Volts grade with aluminium lugs and gland packing complete, including testing on load all as specified and as directed for the following size of the cable:-

LT armoured cable of size 3.5 x 95 Sq mm

LT armoured cable of size 3.5 x 150 Sq mm

Supply & lay (HDPE ) DWC pipe size 90 mm dia for LT cable protection including sockets , bends etc complete all as specified & directed by Engr in Charge Make : Gemini / Tirupati or make as approved by GE .

Material and labour for GI tubing size 80 mm dia light grade laid in trenches/ fixed to poles, walls etc as protection of service cable all as specified of the following sizes . Make:- Tata / Jindal / Prakash Surya

Material and labour for providing horizontal bore hole of dia upto 150mm below road/hard standing surface for the length upto 12 Metre and inserting GI/PVC pipe into the bore hole as cable protection complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Cable protection pipe shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

Supply & fix cable Mild steel Route marker as per sample shown by Engr-in-charge all as specified and as directed. Note :- Earth work & PCC work shall be measured and paid separately

Material and Labour for cement concerete type B1, 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) for coping including necessary formwork etc complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- The amount of schedule of credit on page No.27 shall be deducted from the amount quoted against sch 'A' while deriving at the contract sum for accptance.
