M&L for precast cement concrete solid block masonry with solid block having min. avg. compressive strength of 4N/Sqmm and min. strength of individual unit is 3.2N/Sqmm, type C-4 as per IS -2185(Part -1) 2005 ,(for sewage disposal & C/ wall part ) wall exceeding 10 cm in width and set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified as directed

supply and fix , commissioning and testing of Non-clog vertical submersible pumps of capacity 1 HP operates on single phase 230V, 50Hz AC supply, having discharge 50 LPM, Max head 25 mtrs with brass/ gun metal impeller and cutter, non- clog to pass 40mm size particles and connecting the pump set with control panel / starter by interconnecting multistranded copper cables, earthing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. Note : i) Necessary guide rail and lifting chain will be provided to lift pumps for repair work as per site condition. The quoted rate is inclusive of the same. ii) All pumps & metal surface has to be painted with anti-corrosive paint to prevent sea corrosion.

Supply and fix surface mounted LED fitting with extruded aluminium heat shrink housing complete with all accessories including lamp type 20 W LED 4000 K 4 feet length and internally pre-wired and connecting up with twin core twisted flexible copper conductor cable with suitable size all as specified and directed. Supply and fix energy efficient LED security light luminaires with pressure die cast aluminium IP 66 having LED light 25 W including all accessories such as GI bracket made of GI pipe light grade of suitable size and fixing arrangement complete all as specified and directed. Make for fitting with lamp: Havells Cat No LHETAXU7PA6J025 or equivalent make specified in the List of manufactures.

S&F Ceiling fans of 230V 50 HZ 1200 mm Sweep with BEE 5 Star Rating down rods complete with all accessories internally pre-wired and including connecting up with 3 core flexible 0.5 sqmm size copper conductor cable with suitable size all as specified and directed. S&F exhaust fans made of PVC material, AC single phases 240 V of size 300 mm sweep with louver complete all the specified and directed Note : cutting and making good the disturbed surface of existing wall of suitable size to accommodate the exhaust fan is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor make : Crompton Greaves BEE 5 Star power saving HS plus, 300 mm or equivalent make specified in the List of manufactures.

Sewage Treatment Plant :- Supply, construction, installation,testing & commissioning of Sewage Treatment Plant based on principle of aerobic attached growth non clogging randomly Moving Bed Bio-reactor (MBBR) having capacity 25 KLD to get output quality of treated water to use for the purpose of Arboriculture,toilet flushing and fire fighting, including required foundations and the following as per the specifications given in particular specification to meet the following norms. The inlet parameter of raw sewage is given in PS Clause no. on Sl Page No. are guidelines. But actual sample to be tested from authorised lab approved by Govt before designing the plant. Similarly Outlet parameters required for arboriculture and toilet flushing of treated sewage are given under PS Clause on Sl page No. .Apart from the above, local pollution control authoritie's parameters have to be considered for the output quality of effluent. Rate quoted for this item is demed to be included for the above provision.The scope of the work includes all civil, mechanical & electrical work as per relevant BIS for the entire completion of STP as specified. The scope of work & major items are as listed below:- (a) One no. Fine bar screen of MSFRP construction as per given minimum specifications, to be installed in Fine Bar screen chambers at an angle of 60° to prevent floating objects passing through it and subsequently removing manually and dumped hygenically for further disposal as directed complete. (b) One lot of air grid for equalization tank for providing aeration in the tank, as specified in PS

Continued item No. 10 (c ) Two nos. raw sewage pumps complete with motor and all necessary accessories and fittings, to be installed for transferring sewage from equalization tank to process. Level sensor should be provided in the tank and interlinked with pumps for ON-OFF operation as per water level in the tank. One pressure gauge for each pump has to be provided to measure pressure at the outlet. (d) Two nos. Twin lobe Air blower complete with motor and all necessary accessories & fittings, for providing air in equalization tank, MBBR reactors & Sludge holding tank. One no. Air rotameter is to be provided in each line to MBBR reactor 1 & 2/ EQT for measurement of quantity of air. (e) One Anoxic Chamber in MS FRP construction with Mixer. (f) Two Set of MBBR tank in MS FRP construction with all internals comprising of media, SS air grid & SS riser pipe and for blower as specified, media retaining sieves, etc. (g) One Set of Tube settler tank in MS FRP construction with all internals comprising of media, supporting structure & collection trough. (h) Two nos. sewage centrifugal monobloc self priming sludge transfer pumps complete with motor and timer based operation for set time after every set interval of time, with all necessary accessories and fittings for transferring sludge from bottom of the Tube settler to the sludge holding tank. One pressure gauge for each pump has to be provided to measure pressure at the outlet. (j) One no. Chlorine Contact cum Filter feed tank in MS FRP construction as per given specifications.

Continued item No. 10 (k) One set of chlorine dosing system comprising of solution tank and dosing pumps, as specified in PS, with necessary connection for dosing of solution in chlorine contact tank. (l) Two nos. filter feed centrifugal monobloc pumps complete with motor and all necessary accessories and fittings for feeding tertiary unit, Level sensor should be provided in the chlorine contact cum filter feed tank and interlinked with pumps for ON/OFF operation as per level in the sump. One pressure gauge for each pump has to be provided to measure pressure at the outlet. (m) One no. Dual Media filter complete with media, frontal piping, valve and pressure gauges to measure pressure across the filter. (n) One no. Activated Carbon Filter complete with media, frontal piping, valve and pressure gauges to measure pressure across the filter. (o) One no. Treated Water Tank in MSFRP construction, as per given specifications, to collect treated water after tertiary. (p) One no. Sludge collection Tank in MSFRP construction, as per given specifications, to receive sludge from tube settler, tank should be fitted with air grid as specified. (q) Two nos. sludge pump, self priming monobloc complete with motor and all necessary accessories and fittings for transferring sludge from sludge holding tank to sludge dewatering screw press , Level sensor should be provided in the sludge holding tank and interlinked with pumps for ON-OFF operation as per level in the sump. One pressure gauge for each pump has to be provided to measure pressure at the outlet.

Continued item No. 10 (v) Star delta starter (above 7.5 kw) : Star delta starter shall consist of following components: a. Power contactors – 3 Nos. b. Timer – 1 No. c. Push button with 1 element – Stop & Start. d. Indication lamps – on & off e. Three phase over curent relay - 1 No for safety (x) Control Supply : SP MCBs – as required for instrument supply. Power wiring – minimum 4.0 sq.mm PVC insulated copper wire to avoid over heating (y) Panel Wiring : Control wiring – 1.5 sq. mm PVC insulated copper wire Control supply – 1ph, 230 VAC obtained from phase and neutral. (z) Power & Control Cable : . Power cables – PVC insulated, PVC sheathed, GI armoured, copper conductor cables as per IS 1554. Minimum power-cable size shall be 3 Core x 4-sqmm. 2. Control cables – PVC insulated, PVC sheathed, multistrand copper conductor cables. (AA) Necessary earthing complete as directed by EIC. Note : i)The Electric panel drg shall be got approved from GE before fabrication. ii) The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all cable from control panel, motors, valves and pipe lines for inter connection etc.

Continued item No. 10 Note : 1. Quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the complete package type STP of capacity 25 KLD including any item which is essential for satisfactory working / functioning of the STP but either not mentioned here-in-before or capacity, rating, Nos of items are not correctly mentioned here-in-before. 2. STP LT Control panel should have adequate control switches, FASD starter, Metering, Indication lamps for Motor ON / OFF / TRIP and control wiring for auto / manual operation. 3. Before quoting the bid, Contractor or his authorised Engineer / consultant must visit the proposed site to study the site condition. 4. Execution of work at site shall commence only after approval of design details by accepting officer. 5. All Civil, Mechanical, Electrical works shall be carried out as per relevant BIS/IS/equivalent standard norms only and also in accordance with the latest edition of the Indian Electricity Act / rules formed there under and as amended from time to time. 6. Any other works (other than civil mechanical & electrical) connected to installation, testing & functional requirement of package type STP capacity 25 KLD all as mentioned above and which is not mentioned or included in this schedule but necessary shall be carried out by the contractor against the rate quoted for item No 10 above shall be deemed to include for all components specified above & required for smooth functioning of STP.

Continued item No. 10 7. Entire plant shall be tested after successful commissioning by rep of Accepting Officer and contractor shall make all arrangement without extra cost to department. 8.. Contractor shall arrange adequate training to MES staff for operation of this STP without extra cost to department. 9. All consumable including chemicals required for testing & commissioning will be supplied by the contractor and rate is deemed to be included in the rate quoted for above item. 10. Rate is included for all Electrical work including installation of STP control Panel, electrical wiring from Control panel to all pump sets/Eqpts, adequate earthing etc. 11. Rate is included for all electro mechanical works including pumps and other items which are integral part of package type STP plant and essential for installation and successful operation of STP plant capacity 25 KLD as per BIS. 12. All Constructional Drawings and Technical Details and entire STP Scheme shall be submitted before execution of works duly vetted by authorised Govt agencies such as NIT /IIT/ ITSc and shall be submitted for approval by AO. 13. All design,fabrication,inspection and testing of the plant will be done with respect to the latest Indian standards. In case any non-availability of standard, good engineering practice will be adopted

Note Continued item No. 10 14 The thickness of M.S sheet to be used for all steel tanks shall be minimum 5 mm as per BS 1079 and HRI GRADE with internal FRP 3MM lining and external epoxy to be painted to prevent sea corrosion 15. The quoted rate is deemed to include the cost of all excavation, earth work etc complete required for the completion of the work 16. The invert level and SBC for design is to be considered as per the soil investigation report from GE & shall be followed. 17. The dimensions/capacity of the eqpt/components mentioned are of minimum reqt. Any increase in size/modifications found essential to achieve the parameters shall be carried out as per the OEM. However, no extra payment on this account will be permissible. 18. Rate deemed to include to obtain NOC for "Consent to Operate" from Lakshadweep pollution control board. 19. Cost of all inter connected pipes and fittings including excavation and other connected works of STP shall be deemed to include in the quoted rates and nothing extra will be paid.

Ph -II ( Provn of Out sourcing of services for STP during defect liability period )

Provn of Out sourcing of services for the First year during defect liability period for sewage treatment plant of capacity 25 KLD through OEM in two shift per day including for 03 Nos of Nonclog submersible pumpsets ( sewage raw water pumps) of capacity 1.0 Hp and PLC control panel for operation of STP process and pumping the treated water for arboriculturing, flushing and fire fighting static water tank etc each along with its connected control valves and Electric starters etc through trained operator / FGM including cleaning and daily maintanace of plant including supply of consumables (except electricity & water ) (for the first year from actual date of completion).

Same as per Item No. 11.1 above but for the second year during defect liability period complete all as specified and directed. ( For the 2nd year from the actual date of completion)

Notes for item Nos 11.1 & 11.2 The rate quoted shall include for the following:- (i) Deploying of technically qualified person , ie, One highly skilled operator / FGM per shift of 08 hours duration for two shift in a day including sunday and Govt holidays and having experiance not less than 2 yrs in the same field. (ii) The detailes of operation comprise of chemical dozing , periodically checking and maintance of STP plants , equipments and log book. The contractor shall strictly follow the operation & maintance manual of the plant as well as dosage of chemical prescribed by OEM (iii) Periodical ckecking of plant, pipe line and joint for any leackage

(iv) Daily, periodical maintanace , chemical dosing all as recommended by plant OEM (v)Samples of effluent shall be collected from the outlet twice in a month as directed and got tested in a lab approved by Lakshadweep Pollution Control Board / authority concern. (vii) Periodical cleaning and removal of sludge from screen well, collection well, contact aeration tank, sludge aeration tank, settling tank, sludge drying beds, bar screen, screen through etc. (viii) Mixing chemical to maintain desired quality of end product of system. (ix) To maintain all working place and area neat and hygenically clean. (x) The Log sheet must be maintained by the contractor as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Ph -III ( Comprehensive maint after defect liability period ) STP

Comprehensive maintenance of STP of capacity 25 KLD including all supporting equipments such as pumps, motors, panell etc for the First year after defect liability period all as specified and as directed.

Notes for items 12.1 & 12.2 : The rate quoted for the items 12.1 & 12.2 shall deemed to include for the following (i) Comprehensive maintenance of STP includes general checking of all the parts of STP such as filter, feeder pumps, Multi grade filter (MGF) , Activated corbonated filter (ACF), Membrance feed pump, electrical control panel etc. on monthly basis for the 3rd & 4th year from actual date of completion. (ii) Unserviceable spare should be replaced with new spares of same specifications, make and cost of these shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor (iii) Samples of effluent shall be collected from the outlet twice in a month as directed and got tested in a lab approved by Lakshadweep Pollution Control Board / Authority Concern. (iv) Testing/ Calibration/ Comprehensive maintanance of STP should be done by the OEM Only (v) Test certificate must be signed by the contractor, OEM and MES Rep before claiming the RARs. (vi) Cost of periodical maintanance of various equipment / parts shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates of respective items. (vii) Periodical cleaning and removal of sludge from screen well, collection well, contact aeration tank, sludge aeration tank, settling tank, sludge drying beds, bar screen, screen through etc. (viii) Mixing of chemical to maintain desired quality of end product of system. (ix) To maintain all working place and area neat and clean. (x) The Log sheet must be maintained by the contractor as directed by the Engr-in-charge.
