Dismentaling of black topped surface for laying pipesand relaying the same,

Excavation in foundation, trenches etc., in earth work in all type of soil such as pick work, jumper work, blasting work Kankar, moorum shingles including decomposed soft and hard rock i/c cutting of top of metelled road etc, upto all heights stacking the excavated earth not more than 3 meters clear from the edge of excavation and then returing the stacked soil in 15cm. layers, when required into plinth and sides of foundation etc., consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth up to all leads and lifts etc., complete in all respect and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, jointing in trenches MSERW pipe as per IS 1979-1985 grade YST 290 or equivalent API-5L grade X52 for the 150mm dia of 8.70mm wall thickness and grade designation with bevelled and capable of with standing required test pressure in random length of 4 to 7 meters. The M.S.flanges are to be provided on each joint as per required table conforming to IS: 6392-1971 and welding of flanges with electrodes as per relevants codes including required number & size of nuts and bolts & gasket sheet not less than 3mm thickness as per relevants codes. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers to make the joints leak proof and to entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The laying of pipe should be conformed to IS: 5822-1994. (Earth work in trenches to be measured and paid for separately). The pipe shall be galvanising with zinc coating conforming to IS: 4736-1986.

Providing , welding and fixing of MS flanges at suitable reaches, conforming to Table-28(Latest with upto ate amendments) and welding of MS flanges with GI Pipes/MSERW pipes in two layers on both faces to make the joint leak proof (The cost of providing and laying of GI pipes/MSERW Pipes to bemeasured and paid for separately). The welding of flanges Should confform to IS 816-1969 withelectrode as per IS : 814-1991 and required number of nuts & bolts conforming to IS : 1364. The thickness of gasket anot less than 3.00 mm conforming to IS : 2712-1998. The work shall be done as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge within all leads and lifts.(150 mm dia Table - 28)

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 ( 1 Cement : 2 sand :4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth. Including all leads and lifts complete in all respects and as per direction of Engineer -in-Charge.
