NOTE FOR ALL PAINITNG ITEMS :- The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor during execution of work :- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietory materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -In-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers. (iii) Before applying cement base paint/weather proof acrylic emulsion paint contractor shall use the wire brush for the removal of loose paint, dust, algae, moss and filling of crack using crack sealent and cleaning of surface by spray jet. (iv) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor, glasses and joinery. (v) Safety head gear, gloves, apron, shoes and safety glasses should be wear while carrying out the painting works. (vi) The scafolding shall be having ease of access for inspection purpose.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted wooden surfaces of any description exceeding 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint complete all as specified and as directed.

(d) Sanitary pipes entering through walls and floor shall be sealed with "Dr Fixit bathseal tape"or equivalent as given in Appx 'C' and the gaps to be grouted with non-shrink cementitous grout "Dr Fixit Bathseal Grout" or equivalent as given in Appx 'C'. Nahani Traps, etc to be fitted securely and the gaps around it to be grouted in the same manner. Supply and fix PVC Ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high-density plastic ball screwed for 20mm bore iron pipe and fixed, minimum weight of 210 gms complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour water proofing treatment of external walls, chajjas and newly plaster surfaces by applying two coats of elastomeric coating material after clearing the surfaces thoroughly and sealing all cracks with acrylic sealing compound as per the manufacturers specifications and directions of Engineer in charge. Supply and fix PVC tank covers of any make and type suitable for capacity upto 500 ltr capacity tanks with screws including locking device fixed in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for repairing the leaking deteriorated and torn out chajjas and parapet walls by removing all the lose material from the top of the chajja be means of light hammering and chiselling, remove loose concrete cover only and clean all loose particles by high pressure jet water so that all surfaces should be sound, clean and free of contamination followed by application of two coats of polymerised cementitious coat like Pidilites Pidifin 2k or equivalent, while second coat is wet apply a 10mm dash coat of CM plaster with the waterproofing compound. MAKE :- Dr.fixit or equivalent as approved by GE, completing the repair work by final finishing and providing proper slope of 15 mm thick rendering to prepared surface in cement mortar(1:4) and finished even and smooth using extra cement including mixing of waterproofing compound all as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PLEATED pleased blinds in repairs made of polyester fabric with aluminium coating at its back, pleats of one inch with segments at the interval of not exc. 100mm top and bottom channels made of aluminium in matching colours, chord lock and pulleys made of brass, design and type as approved by GE complete all as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs stainless steel plate rack of size 900mm x 1050mm, made out of 1mm thick stainless steel including provision for storage of plates and boxes fixed to wall complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkats or frames with shutters without taking of shutters from the frames area exc. 1.5 sqm but not exc. 4 sqm each including all as specified and as directed.

The two vertical door profiles are to be in forced with 40x20 mm MS tube of 19 gauge through out the frame complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and fixing 30mm thick FACTORY MADE MOULDED DOOR SHUTTER ‐ WOOD FREE consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes of 19 gauge thickness and size of 25mm x 25mm for stiles, top and bottom rails. M. S. frame shall have a coat of steel primers. The inner panel shall consist of 25mm thick EPS of Density 23 Kg /Cbm. bonded with 2mm thick termite proof, water proof and fire resistant moulded PVC Sheet Manufactured by an ISO‐9001‐2015 certified company, with 2, 4, 6 raised panel design in different plain and / or prelam colours after routing the Moulded design on one side & 2mm plain and /or prelam PVC sheet on other side of the EPS. Supply and fix factory made shutters, 35mm thick, plain framed, panelled shutters (two panel) with lock rail and panel of 9 mm B.W.P. commercial ply or 12 mm veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces, the size of rail and stile as per IS : 1003 (Part I), kiln seasoned and chemically pressure treated complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 35mm thick second class hard wood glazed or skeleton shutters, open rebated, divided into square with plain chamfered or rounded mitred and rebated without sash bar and prepared to receive gauze or glaze, size of members as clause 8.20 (a) of SSR Part-I complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 30mm thick, flush shutters, solid core construction, with block board core and plywood face panels, commercial type on both sides complete all as specified and directed.
