REPAIR TO RUNWAY AND AIRFIELD PAVEMENT AND MISC RUNWAY REPAIRS AT AFS UNDER GE (AF) JORHAT

M&L for raking out of joints / removing of old sealing compound, dirt from 20mm thick expansion joint and depth 25mm and cleaning the joints properly for full depth of PQC and filling with 20mm thick pre-moulded compressible filler polythylene closed cell type board as specified and applying closed cell, medium density, cross linked polythylene foam back up rod of 25mm dia over filler board, priming top 12mm with approved primer and filling with polyurethane based sealeant, applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant all as per the directions of the manufacturer complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Repair will be carry out by authorised Applicator.

M&L for raking out joints/removing of old sealing compound, dirt from Dummy joints 25mm deep x 10mm wide cleaning the joints properly by mechanical means for full depth, filled with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam back up rod of 12mm dia, over filler board priming top 10mm with specified primer and filling with polyurethane based sealant, applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant and as specified and as per the directions of the manufacturer, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Repair will be carry out by authorised Applicator.

M&L for preparing and cleaning existing asphaltic/concrete surface with wire brushes, etc. and applying one coat of road marking paint (Aqua Base) golden yellow/orange / black for painting over main runway area, taxi lines, holding point, ORP, turn pad, dispersal, signal square ,wind direction indicator base, letters,oblitration, etc. width or girth exc 100mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of existing monsoon drains of average depth not exc.1.00m, removal of silt, sludge, etc. including removal of grown vegitation from drain bed to ensure free flow of storm water and disposal of silt, sludge grass, etc to a distance exceeding 250m but not exc 500m away from starting point complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Cleaning of drain shall be as per users requirement as per necessity and direction by Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) The proper record of the directions issued by the users shall be maintained duly signed and the payment shall be claimed/processed only after verification of the same by the Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down cement plaster of any description on brick wall or on concrete surface including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc and removing same from the site complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc of any size complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick work in one brick thick wall with sub class‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick works, plastered surfaces finishing even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of unreinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in surface, channels, drains, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Mechanized cleaning of vegetation and grass around the runway / taxi track and link roads of runway within Air Force Station, Jorhat by providing 01 No. bush cutter (except on sundays and holidays) having capacity not less than 1.6 HP and model type UMK 435T UEDT (including 01 driver, 01 No. Helper including necessary fuel, oil and lubricants, etc) and removing grass off the premises complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) Daily log sheet/log book to be maintained commensurate with users certificate and user signature as per Appx-'D' enclosed to the tender documents and to be enclosed while claiming running payment/final bill. (b) The cut grass / vegetation shall be removed out of the Air Force station area daily.

Cutting and cleaning of grown vegitation as in edges not exceeding width of 1.5m alongwith the runway drain including removal and disposal of the grass / vegetation to a distance distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m away from starting point complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Cleaning of area vegetation shall be as per users requirement as per necessity and directions by Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) The Proper record of the directions issued by the users shall be maintained duly signed and the payment shall be claimed/processed only after verification of the same by the Engineer-in-charge. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Schedule of Credit attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
