Cutting in earth work by mechanical means and or labour (if any required) in all kinds of soils such as pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in hard and soft rock including chiselling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) or their intermediate classification of soil including dewatering and /or removal of slush wherever required, setting out to the required side slopes, trimming of bottom and levels as directed by the Engineer-in -Charge at site according to the HPPWD specification and sorting of useful and unuseful materinal and stacking the useful material in proper stacks and then disposing off all surplus material with in all leads, through all modes of transportations and carriage of all labour machinery, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work. Any loss to the public and private or private property during the course of execution and transportation of useful and un useful materials shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him to all cases.

Excavation in earth work in all kinds of classification, of soils such as pick work, jumper work etcetra and disposal of all excavated earth upto all leads, lifts and disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
