Repair / Replacement (on condition basis) of various works associated with RMPU of AC coaches at carriage workshop, Alambagh, Lucknow.

1-Dismantling and fixing of existing Complete set of Bellow duct

Dismantling of existing Complete set of Bellow duct with mettallic frames from the coach.

Repairing and Fixing of complete set of bellow duct and making of duct connection 1 for main air supply, return air supply and fresh air supply by tightening the metal frames (flanges) on RMPU and the coach body with proper nut bolts (the flanges should be made universal or fitment should be ensured in each RMPU)

Provision of 3 mm Thick EPDM Rubber gasket on mounting faces of every bellow metallic frame as per RDSO Drawing no. RDSO/PE/SK/AC/0069-2004 (REV.3)

Application of PU sealent on all 10 Nos of duct frames in each coach in already fitted Meta Armid Ducts in LHB AC coaches.

2-Provision of FRP canopy and DPS switches.

Provision of FRP Cover on Harting Connector in LHB Type RMPU AC coaches as per drawing

Provision of DPS switch based heater protection system for RMPU of LHB AC coaches as per RDSO Modification sheet No : RDSO/PE/MS/AC/0089 (Rev O) 2022 or latest.

3-Replacement of Damaged FRP hood Cover of RMPU in conventional

Supply and Fitment of new FRP Hood cover for RMPU in RCF / ICF type AC coaches as per site requirement including fitment Charges.

Supply and Fixing of Safety belt for holding the FRP cover for RMPU unit. (Size: 2565 mm x 40 mm) and thickness up to 2 mm thick with 02 nos brackets.

4-Supply and Fitment of Access doors of RMPU in conventional type AC

Supply Of Acess Door with double lock. ( Size: 240 x 514 x 25 mm )

Supply Of Acess Door with One lock and Top coller (Size: 630 x 410 x 20 mm)

Fitment charges for Item No 4.1 & 4.2

5-Replacement of Control Harness with Wiring work in LHB AC coaches.

Supply of 230 V e-Beam single core copper cable of 1.5 Sq mm as per specification no ELPS/SPEC/0019 of Feb 2011 or latest.

Supply of 6 Sq mm Polymide conduit as per specifications and site requirement

Replacement of Control wiring with 1.5 Sq mm e-beam cable with suitable polyamide conduit pipe inside LHB type RMPU

Supply of Harting couplers including hood and base lever - 24 pin type as per scope of work.

Replacement of Harting couplers including hood and base lever - 24 pin type as per scope of work

Supply of Harting couplers including hood and base lever - 16 pin type as per scope of work

Replacement of Harting couplers including hood and base lever - 16 pin type as per scope of work.

Supply and fixing of silicon sealent on all harting connectors after fitting of RMPU in each coach for preventing water ingress in LHB AC coaches.

6-Supply of fire retardent thermal insulation foam sheet in LHB AC

Supply of Fire retardant thermal insulation foam sheet, 12mm thickness, black colour suitable for LHB variant AC coaches confirming to RDSO spec No. RDSO/PE/SPEC/AC/0061-2005(REV- 1) or latest

Fixing of Fire retardant thermal insulation foam sheet, 12mm thickness, black colour suitable for LHB variant AC coaches confirming to RDSO spec No. RDSO/PE/SPEC/AC/0061-2005 (Rev-1) or latest

7-Solar Reflective paint on the top of RMPU unit and compressor used

Supply and applying of roof cool heat reducing pints having solar reflective index(SRI) 122 tested as per standard ASTM-E-1980 on LHB coaches protrude metallic ducts (Unit-2)
