REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF CI/GI/ SEAMLESS HIGH CARBON STEEL PIPE LINES OF VARIOUS SIZES, ALL TYPE OF VALVES, VALVE PITS, CHAMBERS/ WATER TANKS AND OTHER MISC CONNECTED WORK FOR RCC, NORTH SPRING AND SOUTH SPRING AREA AT KASAULI UNDER GE KASAULI

Schedule 'A' Section - I

Excavation in trenches in hard dense soil n.exc 1.5 mtr wide & n.exc 1.5mtr in depth and n. exc. 10sqm on plan for laying pipe in trenches and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in trenches, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in hard dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking out old u/s worn out MS/CI/GI pipe line flanged type 150 mm bore including fittings complete with nuts, bolts, washers and gaskets etc and removing from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- New pipes shall be laid first at spring area and old ones to be taken out later.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM A 106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-150 mm, outer dia 164.22 mm, with nominal wall thickness 7.11 mm and weight 28.26 Kg/ mtr, including short pieces as required at site, laid in trenches/over RCC pillars/across or under bridges/along hill side (up or down)/culverts/inside valve pits complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE:- (i) Excavation Earth work, PCC, seamless pipe fittings, MS flanges & flanged joints shall measured and paid for separatly under relevant items. (ii) Work will be carried out at various locations experienced based on break downs and weaker sections of existing rising main as per site requirement and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (iii) Any other expenses including obtaining permission from state authorities for road cutting wherever required are included under this item.

M & L for MS Flange of inner dia 150mm and 305 mm outer dia of thickness 28.57 mm having 8 holes drilled, for jointing with existing pipes/ fittings/ bends by duly welded properly to both the plain ends complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing joint for 150mm nominal size pipes comprising of one 3.0 mm steel reinforced compressed asbestos fibre gasket and incl 8 Nos 19.05mm dia ,150mm long Nut ,bolts, 2 nos washer incl 3 mm thick gasket of required size and shape for each joint pipe /fittings/bends etc complete all as specified and directed and Engr-in-charge.

NOTE:- (i) Excavation Earth work, PCC, seamless pipe fittings, MS flanges & flanged joints shall measured and paid for separatly under relevant items. Supply And Fixing in replacement of Air release valve DI Single Chamber, Tripple Action with Ss floating And working parts & Fb Expoxy coating in PN1.6 of size 150mm confoming to IS 14845 incl 8 Nos holes,19.05mm dia ,100mm long Nut ,bolts, 2 nos washer incl 3 mm thick gasket of required size and shape complete for jointing with the existing pipes, duly welded with pipes/fittings bends properly to both the plain ends complete all as specified. and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing and in replacement testing of Tees, suitable length and as per site requirement, made of hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM A 106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-150 mm, outer dia 164.22 mm, with nominal wall thickness 7.1 mm and weight 28.2 Kg/ Rm, including short pieces with flanged ends duly fabricated as required at site, laid in trenches/over RCC pillars/across or under bridges/along hill side (up or down)/culverts/inside valve pits complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply And Fixing in replacement of DI Gear Operated Valve PN1.6 Epoxy coated with ssp & HW size 100mm incl 8 Nos 19.05mm dia ,100mm long Nut ,bolts, 2 nos washer incl 3 mm thick gasket of required size and shape complete for jointing with the existing pipes, duly welded with pipes/fittings bends properly to both the plain ends complete all as specified. and directed.

Supply And Fixing in replacement and testing of high pressure, heavy duty type cast steel Non Return,valve/ check valve, nominal size 150mm, PN 25 conforming to BS 1868, classs 600, Suitable to hydrostatic test pressure for body 156 KG /sq cm & for seat 115kg/cm, both ends flanged in existing line, after removal of old UNSV Non return valve carefully without damaging the existing pipe line complete all as specified and diected by Engr-in-charge. NOTE:- MS Flanges required for jointing with existing pipe lines, joints and jointing materials such as gaskets, nuts, bolts & washers of suitable size shall be provided and cost deemed to be included in the quoted rate of the item itself.

Supply And Fixing in replacement and testing of high pressure, heavy duty cast steel sluice valve, nominal size 150mm, conforming to API 600, classs 600, Suitable to hydrostatic test pressure for body 156 KG /sq cm & for seat 115kg/cm, both ends flanged in existing line, after removal of old UNSV Non return valve carefully without damaging the existing pipe line complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE:- MS Flanges required for jointing with existing pipe lines, joints and jointing materials such as gaskets, nuts, bolts & washers of suitable size shall be provided and cost deemed to be included in the quoted rate of the item itself.

M & L for Cutting down leaking piece of pipe 150 mm. Cut down the rusted & leaking portion , providing (i) new piece of MS Pipe of 150 mm upto 0.50 metre long. (ii) New union socket 150 mm - 1 Nos. (iii) Jointing the new pipe with existing old pipe by means of welding to make it leakproof including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Unit rate quoted shall be included for (a) Necessary excavation/earth work (b) New MS pipe 150 mm upto 0.50 metre length (c) union & socket 150mm - 1 Nos each. (d) welding etc complete including testing on complete.

M & L for Cutting down leaking piece of pipe 100 mm. Cut down the rusted & leaking portion , providing (i) new piece of MS Pipe of 100 mm upto 0.50 metre long (ii) New union socket 100 mm - 1 Nos. (iii) Jointing the new pipe with existing old pipe by means of welding to make it leakproof including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Unit rate quoted shall be included for (a) Necessary excavation/earth work (b) New MS pipe 100 mm upto 0.50 metre length (c) union & socket 150mm - 1 Nos each. (d) welding etc complete including testing on complete.

Construction of brick masonary pit of size 120x120x90 Cm internal size with MS Sheet 3MM Thick and angle iron frame of size 40x40x6mm duly painted with Two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including locking arrangement with provision of lock with 3 keys, lifting handle and including excavation / earth work, PCC in foundation, brick work , plaster including demolition of existing pit and clearing the debris complete all as specified and directed by Engr- in-Charge.

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for anchorage blocks for pipe line/making good the cut portion of roads/paths/hard standings etc including necessary from work where required , to support the pipe line complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Amount of credit of Rs. 210370.00 for retrived old material as mentioned in Schedule 'A' section-II of tender document in pdf form, will be deducted offline while acceptence of tender.
