Labour charges for DISMANTLING EXISTING SHAHBAD STONE PAVEMENT OR PAVER BLOCK PAVEMENT in footpaths, in Plinth Protection etc. carefully without damaging and re-laying the same over a bed of stone grit 150mm consolidated thickness, to proper slope, including cutting the edges to proper lines and sunk pointing with Cement mortar 1:3 with 15mm x 10mm groove cross wire and longitudinally and curing etc. complete. (Grit to be provided by the Contractor)

DISMANTLING KERB STONE carefully without damaging the stone, including removal of earth, base PCC etc. and refixing the same in line and level on newly laid base PCC 1:3:6 and pointing the exposed faces in cement mortar 1:3, curing etc. complete as directed by the Engineer in charge. The rate shall also include charges for disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead. The base PCC laid shall be paid separately under relevant item.

DISMANTLING STEEL WORK in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including dismantling and stacking within 100 m lead

DISMANTLING G.I. PIPES OF ALL DIAMETER EXTERNAL WORK including excavation and refilling trenches after taking out pipes manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of pipes within 100m lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Note: measurement shall be considered as centre line measurements of pipes of all dia. including fittings & fixtutes & no extra payment shall be made for the attached fittings & fixtures.

DISMANTLING BARBED WIRE / FLEXIBLE WIRE ROPE in fencing including making rolls and stacking within 100 m lead.

DISMANTLING GI CHAIN LINK FABRIC FENCING including dismantling of MS Posts, concrete coping, making rolls of chain link fabrics and stacking within 100 m lead etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

DISMANTLING BITUMINOUS ROAD including stacking of serviceable materails and disposal of unserviceable materials within 200 m lead

Bituminous Road

Earth work in SURFACE EXCAVATION not exceeding 30cm in depth but exceeding 1.5m in width as well as 10 sq.m on plan area in all types of soils except soft and Hard rock, including disposal of excaved earth up to a distance of 50m. Disposed soil to be levelled and neatly dressed all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

LEAD CHARGES FOR LEAD UPTO 30 KM by mechanical transport includinmg loading,unloading, stacking / levelling etc. The rates are applicable for NET Quantities arrived after making deduction for voids @ 30% from corresponding TRUCK Measurement. Note: Finding authorised ground for disposing debries, trasporting of debries at disposal ground, disposing, stacking, leveling & statutery charges if any will be responsibility of the Contractor and no extra charges shall be paid for the same. The debris from identified area shall be cleared every week after accumulation of minimum One Track Load.

Supplying, stacking and laying of 230mm THICK RUBBLE SOLING STONES as under floor base including packing with smaller stone and compacting, ramming including spreading and consolidation of blinding material, moorum etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in position CEMENT CONCRETE OF 1:3:6 (1 cement, 3 crushed sand, 6 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specificationsand drawings but excluding the cost of Form work shuttering, centering Complete at all levels.

Providing and laying in position CEMENT CONCRETE OF 1:2:4 (1 cement, 2 crushed sand, 4 graded stone aggregate of nominal size 20mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specification and drawings but excluding the cost of Formwork shuttering, centering and steel reinforcement at all Levels.

Providing, centering, shuttering FORM WORK USING PVC FILM FACED PLYWOOD to get a neat form finish surface for all types of structures including necessary strutting, proping, staging, supports etc and deshuttering the same after the specified time all as per drawings and specifications at all levels and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in position REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE (RCC) OF GRADE M-30 using 20mm maximum size aggregates and crushed sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved brand and quality (plasticiser or superplasticiser) if required, including weigh batching, mechanical mixing, transporting, placing, vibrating, consolidation, finishing, curing etc.complete but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement complete as per specifications up to Plinth Level and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing REINFORCEMENT FOR REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules,cutting, bending, transporting, fixing, tieing in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire all labour charges, cost of cover blocks in specified grade of concrete etc. complete including cost of binding wire as per specifications and drawings. Steel Supplied by the Contractor. Using TMT bars of specified grade all dia bars to be supplied by the contractor manufactured by other than SAIL, RINL or TATA and approved brands of BARC only.

Providing STRUCTURAL STEEL WORK USING ANGLES, CHANNELS, JOISTS, FLATS AND OTHER SECTIONS, welded and / or bolted in built up sections for trusses , structural steel floors, frame works, monorails and other structures including supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, hoisting, fixing in position, applying a priming coat of approved steel primer etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Project Engineer. Up to and including 300mm Joists, 350mm channels, and below sections using materials of approved manufacturers. (ISI marked other than SAIL / RINL) All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials.

Providing and constructing RANDOM RUBBLE MASONRY using approved Rubble stone in foundation and plinth in C.M 1:6 (using crushed sand) including raking out joints or simultaneous flush pointing below ground level / plinth level, curing etc. complete as per drawings and specifications.

Providing and constructing BRICK WORK in cement mortar using Standard bricks of approved quality / class, make / brand in super structure above plinth up to Floor-II level in all shapes and sizes including curing, raking out joints complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Brickwork in super structure with standard bricks in C.M 1:4 using crushed sand.

Providing 20mm THICK EXTERNAL PLASTERING in two coats under layer 12mm thick with C.M 1:4 (using crushed sand) finished with a top layer 8mm thick in C. M 1:3 (using crushed sand) including approved water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer's specifications, sieving of sand to required fineness, scaffolding up to 10m height, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications. and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

PROVIDING AND LAYING NON-PRESSURE NP2 CLASS RCC HUME PIPES of approved make, with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2, laying to the levels, slopes and as per the drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including testing of joints etc. complete.

Providing and fixing UNPLASTISIZED CHLORINATED PVC (UPVC) PIPES having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply (as ASTM Standard 2846 & SDR - 11 Grade) including all UPVC Plain & Brass threaded fittings, fixing the pipe with clamps at 1.00 m spacing / under ground. This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with UPVC Solvent cement & testing the joints complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

PROVIDING AND CONSTRUCTING STORM WATER CHAMBERS of Internal size clear dimention of 900mm x 600mm in 230 thick brick masonry with cement mortat 1:4 over a bed of 150 mm thick 1:4:8 cement concrete foundation, plastering with cement mortar 1:4 20 mm thick on inside, out side and all exposed sufaces finished with a floating coat of neat cement, embedding the C.I frame and cover / RCC precast slab by making suitable rebate in concrete and fixing cast iron steps if necessary at 300 mm intervals complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Depth of chamber not exceeding 900 mm. (Excavation, soling, cast iron cover, C.I steps and precast slab will be paid separately under relevant item)

EXTRA DEPTH OVER 1.20M DEPTH for constructing storm water chambers of internal clear dimention of 900mm x 600mm in 230 thick brick masonry with cement mortat 1:4, plastering with cement mortar 1:4 20 mm thick on inside, out side and all exposed sufaces finished with a floating coat of neat cement, complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Supplying and fixing CAST IRON MAN HOLE COVERS and CAST IRON STEPS of approved make and weight as specified in the drawings or as directed by the Engineer in charge.

REMOVING & REPLACING OF PRECAST SLABS from the top of the 1.5M width drains, stacking them properly at nearby area as directed by Engineer-In-Charge and replacing them over the drains suitably after completion of desilting of the wells and work complete.

HIRE CHARGES OF HYDRA/JCB/POCLAIN as per the requirement for trimming Tree Branches during Monsoon Preparedness or as & when required during emergency in monsoon period etc. complete as directed by Engineer In-Charge.

CLEANING OF COVERED STORM DRAINS: Removing of silt, dry leaves, murrum, small boulders etc. completely from the bed of closed drains with RCC / CI grating, box culverts etc. having depth not beyond 2.5 mts. and disposing the removed earth & debris within a lead of 50mts. including removal and putting back the RCC / CI grating properly as required during the eintire monsoon / non-monsoon period and as directed by EIC.

DESILTING OF DEPOSITED SILT DEPTH UPTO 3M BELOW GROUND LEVEL by excavating from the stilling ponds & drains, canals etc. at various locations and size including removing of wild vegitations, creepers if any by the side of the ponds as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge.

TRIMING THE BRANCHES OR CLEARING THE SITE OF FALLEN TREE: Triming the branches or clearing the site of fallen tree of girth measured at a height of 1 m above ground level including trimming of branches or cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable materials complete as per specifications and as directed by the EIC.

PROVIDING & FIXING GI CHAIN LINK FABRIC FENCING Made of GI wire of dia 4 mm of required width in mesh size 50 x 50 mm including strengthening with 2mm dia wire or nuts, bolts and washers as requeid complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying & fixing in position 2 ply, 12 gauge, 4 spikes at 100mm c/c G.I. BARBED WIRE to M.S. angles/RCC wooden posts including providing necessary scaffolding, supplying & fixing necessary 'J' hooks, bolts, nuts, washers, staples as required including 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make, shade over a coat of primer on wire etc. complete per metric length of wire.

CLEANING & PROVIDING ZYCOSIL ANTISKIDDING COMPOUND: Providing & Applying Zycosil Antiskid Compound Paint on Paver Block/Footpath/Road Surface as directed by Engineering-in-Charge.

SCARIFYING METALLED (WATER BOUND) ROAD SURFACE including disposal of rubbish lead up to 100 m and consolidation of the aggregate received from scarifying wth power road roller of 8 to 10 T capacity complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying, spreading and compacting GRANULAR SUB-BASE (GSB) MATERIAL 300 MM THICK (150 mm thick in each layer) compacted layer of crushed sand, murrum, gravel crushed stone and combination there of as per specification including spreading on the prepared sub grade, maintaining the required slope and grade and cross fall (camber) etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge (Compacted thickness only will be measured and paid).

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting HAND BROKEN/ CRUSHED STONE AGGREGATE, 250 MM THICK WET MIX MACADAM including premixing of material with water in mixing plant for Wet Mix Macadam, carriage of mixed material by tipers to the site and laying material in uniform thickness and laying by mechanical paver including rolling with road roller 8.10 tonne capacity in stages to proper grade and camber spreading and brooming etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (Compacted thickness only will be measured and paid for.)

Laying, spreding and compacting STONE AGGREGATE OF SPECIFIED SIZES TO WBM specifications including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled road / vibratory road roller 8 to 10 T capacity to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding material to fillup interstices of coarse aggregate watering and compacting to the required density.

Providing and laying DENSE BITUMINOUS CONCRETE of thickness 25 to 40 mm as directed on prepared surface with specified graded stone aggregate for wearing course including loading of aggregate with FE loader and hot mixing of bitumen with filler and stone aggregate in hot mix plant transporting the mixed material by tippers to paver and laying the mixed material with mechanical paver finisher fitted with electronic sensing device to the requied level and grade and rolling with road rollers, as per specification, to achieve proper compaction but excluding cost of primer / tack coat with bitumen of grade 60/70 (VG 20) @ 7% (percentage by weight of total mix).

Providing and applying TACK COAT ON WBM / WMM @ 0.75 kg / sqm using hot straight run bitumen of grade 60/70 (VG 20) including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen mechanically / manually, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying TACK COAT ON BITUMIOUS SURFACE @ 0.50 kg / sqm using hot straight run bituumen of grade 60/70 (VG 20) including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen mechanically / manually, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying SEAL COAT AVERAGE 9.00 MM THICLNESS of premixed fine aggregate (passing 2.36 mm and retained on 180 micron sieve) with bitumen using 128 kg of bitumen of grade 60/70 (VG 20) bitumen per cum of fine aggregate and 0.60 cum of fine aggregate per 100 sqm of road surface including rolling and finishing with road roller all complete.

Painting road surface MARKING WITH THERMOPLASTIC PAINT hot applied to give uniform finish with Glass beeds / power Topping, on bituminous surface in white / yellow shade including cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

CARRYING OUT MANUAL MISC. CARPENTRY / PLUMBING / CIVIL / MASONRY / OPERATION OF PUMPS / CLEANING / GARDENING JOBS like minor repairs, fixing fitting and fixtures, operation of pumps, cleaning, gardening etc. as and when required and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge Note: (1). Labours shall bring necessary carpentary / plumbing / masonry / cleaning / gardening tools, minimum materials such as washher, taflon tape, rawlpludge, screws, clips etc. (2) Payment shall be made as per the Log book duly approved by the Enginner in charge. 3) Contrator shall arrange necessary Police Verification Certificate for the workers engaged for thess work.

SEMI-SKILLED CARPENTRY / PLUMBING / CIVIL / MASONRY / OPERATION OF PUMPS / CLEANING / GARDENING JOB / WORKS with valid Police Verification Certificate for entire contract period.

Carrying out Civil Engineering Works like SURVEYING, LEVELLING, CHECKING OF FORMWORK, FABRICATION, REINFORCEMENT, WITNESSING SAMPLE RETRIEVAL & TESTING, PREPARATION OF RA BILLS, ENSURING CONCRETE INGREDIENT RATIO IN RCC / PCC WORKS, BRICKWORK, PLASTER, FLOORING AND OTHER CIVIL WORKS AT SITE including preparation of tender documents, draft work order, agreements, compiling, binding, labeling and keeping data in computer as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Diploma holder / Licentiate in Civil / Construction Engineering / Technology conducted by board of Technical Examinations / University / Autonomous Govt. / Govt. recognized Polytechnic / Institute with minimum 2 years experience. 2) Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one engineer per month for a job for 6 working days per week for minimum 08:30 hours per day with 30 minutes of break. 3) Mode of measurement: Measurement will be as per job basis and part thereof. Deployment of one engineer per month will be measured as one job.
