REPAIR TO PATHS, HARD STANDING AND CERTAIN REPAIR TO DRAINS, DRAIN COVERS, CULVERTS, POST AND FENCING ETC IN DOMESTIC AND TECH AREA AT AF STATION CHANDIGARH UNDER GE(AF) CHANDIGARH.

Note :The unit rate quoted by the tenderer under Col No (13) of Sch `A’ (BOQ) unless specifically mentioned otherwise such as labour only/fixing only, for all items of works shall be deemed to be including cost of all materials, labour, tools and plants, testing and commissioning of work in position complete as required for entire completion of work.

Plain cement concrete (1:2:4), type B-2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in sub base ,foundations, filling and mass concrete including Cutting opening in cement concrete walls (any description) for door, window and other openings (with or without reveals) or enlarging existing openings, including trimming surfaces to receive rendering in and including demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Brick work with sub-class `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius built in cement sand mortar 1:6 complete in and including demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc for the area where unservicable bricks retrived and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Servicable bricks retrived from demolition of this item shall be used after proper cleaning and washing of old bricks under item No.3 below. (ii) Tile work to be executed in any position or in any patches or as per site requirement.

Brick work with sub-class `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius (except bricks) built in cement sand mortar 1:6 complete in and including demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc for area where servicable bricks retrived and removal of rubbish outside MoD land ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Note: Servicable bricks retrived from demolition item no. 12 above and this items shall be used after proper cleaning and washing of old bricks.

Rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement in and including taking down cement plaster on brick walls & concrete surfaces & the like including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., any description, and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i).Quoted rate shall be deemed to include for necessary scaffolding & formwork as required. (ii) No extra payment made to contractor for work in small patches as required at site/as directed.

Preparation of newly plastered surfaces of brick wall/ stone/ plastered/concrete/Kerb stone /Ceiling etc and applying two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/ litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489: 2004, alkali & fungal resistant, dirt resistant exterior paint of required shade with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces in camouflage pattern , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Number of coats and pattern of camouflage shall be approved by GE. (ii) The rate quoted by contractor is deemed to be included necessary scaffolding . (ii) All safety measures for the safety of workers shall be ensured by contractor before execution of work. Insurance of workers shall be got done by contractor before execution of the work and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by contractor.

Hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts; posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 in and including dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates ,post etc but excluding framed truss etc. ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Restraining and resecuring including making good only barbed wire including making good staples etc. galvanized 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings, and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire staples, or steel pins etcall as specified and directed. Note:Each line of wire to be measured

Galvanized 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings, and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire staples, or steel pins etc in and including taking down old unserviceable existing barbed wire. , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:Each line of wire to be measured

Barbed razor type concertina coil of size 600 mm dia (when unstretched) fixed between the existing ‘V’ angle post and barbed wire over security wall /PCC /ground as per requirment with coil of coverage 6.00 running metre per coil, weight of each coil 9.5 to 10.00 Kg hot dip galvanized and binding with and including MS annealed wire of 0.90 mm in and including taking down old unserviceable existing concertina coil , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Barbed razor type concertina coil of size 1000 mm dia (when unstretched) fixed between the existing ‘V’ angle post and barbed wire over security wall /PCC /ground as per requirment with coil of coverage 6.00 running metre per coil, weight of each coil 14.00 to 15.00 Kg hot dip galvanized and binding with and including MS annealed wire of 0.90 mm in and including taking down old unserviceable existing concertina coil , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Pre-colour coated high tensile strength galvalume corrugated sheet roofing with yield strength (550 NPA) prepainted with aluminium (55%) and zinc (45%) alloy coating applied through continous hot dip process having tatal coated thickness (TCT) of 0.50mm with minimum coating mass on both sides @ 150gms/sqm in length and width as per site condition fixed with complete acessories as per manufacturer's instructions through specialist agency and as per profile and shade as approved by GE in and including dismantling plain or corrugated steel /fibre sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description , not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamells paint over a coat of primer,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description , not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coats of synthetic enamells paint ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.
