NOTE FOR ALL PAINITNG ITEMS :- The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor during execution of work :- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietory materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -In-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers. (iii) Before applying cement base paint/weather proof acrylic emulsion paint contractor shall use the wire brush for the removal of loose paint, dust, algae, moss and filling of crack using crack sealent and cleaning of surface by spray jet. (iv) Application of cement base paint strictly done by spray/mechanical spray machine only, otherwise 30% cost shall be reecovered from the respective item. (v) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor, glasses and joinery.

NOTE FOR PLUMBING AND SANITARY ITEMS:- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of plumbing and sanitary wares materials required / covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis.

Material and labour rendering 12 mm thick on concrete surfaces in CM 1:6, on wall including taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls or concrete surfaces etc., incl raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces on walls in CM 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement including taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls or concrete surfaces etc., incl raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Plaster work is on Ground and upto fouth floor of building)

Material and labour rendering 5 mm thick on concrete surfaces as in ceiling in CM 1:3, finished even and smooth without using extra cement including taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls or concrete surfaces etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water complete all as directed.

Material and labour for preparing newly plastered surfaces of wall incl preparation of surfaces and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of alkali resistant primer on wall surfaces complete as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Preparation of new surfaces (Plastered or un-plastered) of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of primer including filling of crack if any using crack sealent compound complete as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Application of cement base paint shall be strictly carried out by using mechnical spray machine only. (ii) filling of cracks,holes and dents are includes in the rate quoted. (iii) Proper curing with water to be done before and after application of first coat.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces and applying three coats of white wash on ceiling/chajjas complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing old tar felt/ all loose dirt/ old roof tiles/ cement plaster and cleaning the concrete surface including removal of vegetation, fungus, moss small trees etc from the roof top with wire brush, including removing the strips of lightening conductor and refixing the same after repair work and applying neat cement slurry @ 1.5Kg/Sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour Sunken flooring treatment as per following details complete all as specified and directed:- (a) Special treatment to toilet floor by demolition of existing treatment of any description and thickness, removal of rubbish to a distance exc. 5KM but not exc.7.5KM. (b) Clean the sunken portion of toilet / Bath / WC / Kitchen throughly to remove laitance, dirt dust, etc. (c) Form angle fillet of size 40mm x 40mm along the junction of wall and floor using polymer modified mortar ("Dr Fixit"Pidicrete URP" or equivalent as given in Appx 'C'.). (d) Sanitary pipes entering through walls and floor shall be sealed with "Dr Fixit Bathseal Tape"or equivalent as given in Appx 'C' and the gaps to be grouted with non-shrink cementitous grout "Dr Fixit Bathseal Grout" or equivalent as given in Appx 'C'. Nahani Traps, etc to be fitted securely and the gaps around it to be grouted in the same manner. (e) Apply one coat of a Bitumen-modified polymer coating "Dr Fixit Bathseal Plus" or equivalent as given in Appx 'C' on all angle fillets by brush

Supply and Fix in repairs 18/19 mm thick Prelaminated particle board, exterior grade, prelaminated both side with decorative choice lamination & other side balancing white lamination, fixed with screws to timber frame work complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour Glazed ceramic colour tiles in vertifical surface 450x350x7mm thick with necessary border etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match over including 10mm thick rendering as backing coat in cement mortar 1:4 including Dismantling floor hearth or wall tilling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing ) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and Make and seris as approved by GE.

Material and labour for coloured non skid ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, in floors set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match over and including 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 including Dismantling floor hearth or wall tilling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing ) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and Make and seris as approved by GE.

Material and labour for 15 to 20mm thick Granite (of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window- cills, cooking platforms and like over 15mm thick cement plaster in CM (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite including demolition of stone slab and tiles of any description or thickness in floor apron etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkats and frame n.exc 1.5 Sqm each including shutters without taking off shutters from the frame and removing from site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down chowkats and frame exc 1.5 Sqm but n.exc 4.00 sqm each including shutter without taking off shutter from the frame and removing from site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix Factory made internal PVC door frame of size 50x47mm single revated made out of extruded 5 mm PVC foam sheet, mitre cut at two corners and jointed with 02 Nos of 150 mm brackets of 15x15 mm MS square tube. The two vertical door profiles are to be in forced with 40x20 mm MS tube of 19 gauge through out the frame complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix Factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30 mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes for top & bottom rails. M.S. frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC ‘C’ channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail; Panelling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S. frame welded / sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading, and joined together with solvent cement, suppling & fixing in the frame at site as per specification & drawing and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and Fix Pressed steel door frame for doors of size 105 x 60mm one or more rebates including necessary fixing lugs, hinges, lock strike plate, etc complete with and including hollow section of frame to be filled with PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix 30mm thick 2nd class Hard Wood glazed or skelton shutter open rebated divided into square with plain chamfered or rounded mitred and rebated without sash bar and prepared to receive gauze or glaze, size of members as per clause No. 8.20 (a) of SSR pt-1 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix 35mm thick plain framed panelled factory made door shutters (two panels) with lock rail and panel of 12 mm thick veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces. The size of rail and stile as per IS : 1003 (Part I), kiln seasoned and chemically pressure treated complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparing new or previously untreated wood surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of pink primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix in repairs Stainless steel wire cloth 0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with stainless steel wire staples complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix aluminium anodised barrel tower bolt of extruded section of size 150 mm complete all as specified and as directed by the EIC.

Supply and Fix 100mm size cold rolled mild steel heavy weight butt hinges for wooden/door shutters and frames fixed with bright screwes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix 150mm size Extruded aluminium alloy handles, fabricated type, anodised complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix aluminium powder coated window sliding type (3 track) with frame size 100x35x1.2mm thick and shutter frame size 39.40x17.70x1.2mm thick with and including two glass shutter and one mesh shutter including necessary jointing cleats, glazing clips, rubber packing, powder coated aluminium snap beading screws with and including 4mm thick tinted float glass and 0.36mm dia apperture 1.4mm SS wire mesh and fittings etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix aluminium louvered ventilators of section size 80mmx20mmx1.50mm including 5mm thick frosted glass fixed in half portion & adjustable type louvers in another half and stainless steel wire mesh fixed type on outside frame etc making to the jambs complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix 110mm dia PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber rings joints fixed to walls or laid in floors as sanitary fittings, rain water pipes etc in any position including taking down sanitary pipes, eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), in any type and position including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, branch pieces, couplers, reducers, vent cowl, stack clamps etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fix in repairs vitreous china wash basin white flat back size 580 x 430 mm excluding taps waste chain and plug and porcelain stopper but incl necessary brackets, 32mm Waste fittings, brass chromium plated for glazed ware sinks, basins, etc. with long screwed shanks and fly-nuts, flange end bedded in red lead cement and other end fixed complete all as per CERA Cat No S 2040109 (Calibre) or techno commercially equivalent makes specified in PS and as directed.

Material and labour TMT steel bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length bent to shape required including cranking bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour RCC nominal mix (1:1.5:3) (using 20mm graded stone aggregates) as in as in chajja, shelves and the like complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour formwork to flat surface of chullah hoods, chajjas, troughs and similar items including edges with fair finished surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete as in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour Plain Cement Concrete, type B1 (1:2:4) using 20 mm graded aggregate as in roof, chajjas, kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges giving proper slope complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour Water proofing treatment of external walls, chajjas and newly plaster surfaces by applying two coats of elastomeric coating material after clearing the surfaces thoroughly and sealing all cracks with acrylic sealing compound as per the manufacturers specifications and directions of Engineer in charge. Make : Build core chemicals, MC bouchmie, Pidilite or equivalent.

Supply and Fix factory made fibre glass reinfoerced plastic (FRP) 'CHAJJAS', 4mm thick of 'Fibreway' brand or technocommercially equivalent in required colour, size and design made by resin transfer moulding (RTM) machine technology, resulting in void free compact laminate in single piece, having smooth gradual slope curvature for easy drain off water and duly reinforced by two numbers vertically one number horizontally, 50X2mm thick MS flat with 12mm in built hole for grouting on the existing wall along with the 50mm flanges duly inserted and sealed in the wall complete in one single piece casted monolithically including all necessary fittings. The FRP chajja should be manufactured using unsaturated polyster resin as per IS: 6746 duly reinforced with fibre glass chopped strand mat (CSM) as per IS:11551 complete with protective Gelcoat U/V coating on top for complete resistance from the extreme of temperature, weather and Sun light complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Material and labour for cleaning treatment of external walls of stone masonry by applying 1 coat Sagatech SC @ 2.5 litre per Sqm ( Stone and stone masonry cleaner) Make Saga polymer only (approved by trial) of equivalent after cleaning the surface thoroughly and sealing all the pointing with cement and sand mortar with water proofing additive as per the manufactureres specification and direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply and Fix in repairs Harrison rails, anodised aluminium alloy with fixing brackets, stops, rollers etc. complete all as specified and as direced.

Supply and Fix in repairs 0.63mm thick Mild steel, plain, black sheet in hearths; covering to door shutters; covering to door chowkats (frames); chullah hoods; water tanks; water troughs; ducts; urinal troughs and funnels, etc. cut to size edges beaded if directed,holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel members, etc., with plain 40 mm lap joints or welded/ riveted seams including bending, turning up, mitred angles, stopped ends, outlets, etc. as required complete all as specified and as direced.

Supply and Fix in repairs Aluminium Die Cast Body Door closer hydraulically regulated, designation No. 3, universal type, suitable for door shutters of 851 to 1000 mm in width and of weight between 61 to 80 kg complete all as specified and as direced.
