REPAIRS/MAINT OF HT/UG DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND ALLIED WORKS FOR EAST AND WEST OF JHOKE ROAD UNDER GE (EAST) FEROZEPUR CANTT

Dismantling & taking out old damaged PCC/Steel pole of any size and removing from site of work complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling & taking out old damaged stay assembly complete with stay wire, loop type insulator,worntout clamps etc of any size and removing from site of work complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down old wornt out ACSR conductor of any type and size complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling & taking down old wornt out MS clamps/cross arms/channels complete with nuts & bolts etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down old unserviceable GI/Aluminium earth/roof conducytors/strips on poles etc in any position of any type and size complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down old unserviceable insulators of any type and size complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out or down old unserviceable HT cable underground/ overhead cables of any description or any type and size including cable protection covers for removing from site or reuse if required complete all as specified and directed.

Providing the cable fault locating Machine (CFL Machine) consisting of DC Testing,Thumping system and DIGI point Sensor complete to locate the exact fault location (First fault) with necessary T&P at site for locating exact pin point of fault along with the length of armourd 11 KV XLPE/PILCA insulated HT cable complete all as required and directed at site

Providing the cable fault locating Machine (CFL Machine) consisting of DC Testing,Thumping system and DIGI point Sensor complete to locate the exact fault location (Sucessive faults) with necessary T&P at site for locating exact pin point of fault along with the length of armourd 11 KV XLPE/PILCA insulated HT cable complete all as required and directed at site

Excavating in trenches in soft/loose soil, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, cesspits,manholes, pier holes, water/sewer pipe line, electric cable line etc not exceeding 10 Sqm area on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches in soft/loose soil, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and exceeding 1.5 m but not exceeding 3.00m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, cesspits,manholes, pier holes, water/sewer pipe line, electric cable line etc not exceeding 10 Sqm area on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning soft/loose soil, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance n exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay 300mm x 180mm x 40mm thickness Un-reinforced Precast Concrete Cable Covers Class HV, type-1, flat, ISI marked, putting on the cable abutting to each other for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Sand cushioning using sand suitable for plaster work. to under ground cable in trenches/existing cable trenches/ducts in layers of 8cm deep before laying the cable and 15cm deep after laying and stretching the cable complete all as specified and directed. (Note:-18cm Punned thickness shall be reckoned for the purpose of measuremet and payment)

M&L for Cement Concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement Concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles surroundings, stay assembly/feeder pillar/LT panel etc including necessary form work, fair finished surfaces without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement Concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping of poles including necessary form work, fair finished surfaces without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and erect in replacement prestressed concrete pole 11.0m long, 152 mm X 152mm at top and 152mm X 260mm at bottom, class-9, complying with the requirement of IS-1678-1978 including Painting of pole upto 1.5m of height from coping level with alternative Red and Yellow colour strips of width not less than 0.3m and Writing Pole No with yellow shade on black base using synthetic enamel paint having height of words exc 5.0 cm including two coats of lime white wash on PCC surrounding and coping above GL complete all as specified and directed dismantling of old pole. (Note:-Excavation and earthwork, PCC in foundation, surrounding base of poles & coping and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately)

S&F stay assembly in replacement of unsv stay assembly with new stay assembly complete with 20mm dia, 2100mm long Galvanised iron stay rod with threaded ends and GI nuts, two numbers thimbles MS clamps made out of 40mm x 6mm flat iron including MS nuts bolts and washers 300mm x 300mm x 6mm MS stay plate, stay bow of size 40 cm long 16 mm dia, loop type insulator including painting the exposed MS work with 2 coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as shown in Electrical Plate No 1 complete all as specfied and directed. Note:-Excavation and earth work, concrete work, loop type insulators, stay strand, clamps shall be measured and paid for separately).

S&F Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator of height 150 mm x 150 mm dia of 11000 Volts grade including one galvanized mild steel spindle, nut & two washerscomplete all as specified and directed.

S&F Disc type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator of height 145 mm x 255 mm dia for working pressure 11000 Volts ball and socket type of two in series disc assembly with tension clampcomplete all as specified and directed.

S&F Loop type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white, brown or green of size 90mm x140mm and clearance of hole 25.5 mm for stay assembly complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 8 SWG GI wire Earth Continuity Conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall/on suitable insulators, on batten or recessed or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit /pipe or fixed to pole on any other indicated situation complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Mild Steel Cross arms , bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding , bending, cold or hot, drilling holes or bolt in any shape or size including 2 coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Note : Unexposed surface shall be given one coat of primer only.

S&F Anti climbing device spike type fabricated out of MS flat 50mm x 6 mm in two parts with 14 Nos 230 mm long and 12mm dia spikes, sharpened ends with and including nuts, bolts & washers and welding made to shape to suit the cross section of poles including painting with two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified.

S&F Galvanised stay strand, size 7/ 4mm complete all as specified and directed

S&F Lightening arrester expulsion type for outdoor suitable for 11 KV high tension line complete with all fittings with discharge capacity 65 Kilo amperes, including bracket clamps, nuts, bolts & washers and connection to earth wire & SWG GI wire of 4mm size complete all as specified. .

S&F Aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size complete including jointing for over head line on poles, including GI wire 14 SWG jumper line taps complete all as specified and as directed by engineer in charge, all as required following sizes of conductor:-(a) 6/1x3 mm Ferret.(b) 6/1x3.66 mm Mink.(c ) 6/1x2.59 mm weasel. (Note:-Measurement for the purpose of payment shall be made by measuring horizontal distance centre to centre distance between each two adjacent poles by additional 3% extra for sag, joints & jumpers etc.

S&F Air break gang operated switch, triple pole, mechanically operated, with contacts of ferrous knife and spring loaded moving contact of copper, vertically mounted, (12 insulator type) mounted on insulator and steel frame with operating mechanism in accordance with IS-9921 including 25mm bore medium grade GI pipe to worked from ground level for current rating up to 200 Amps 11 KV with locking mechanism, mild steel clamp, nuts, bolts, washers, operating handle with in both OFF and ON position of required size including two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide complete all as specified.

Supply, lay joint and test XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured power electric cable (heavy duty), HT 11000 Volts grade Earthed System with aluminum conductor 3 core 95 square mm ISI marked IS: 7098-1985, laid in trenches, duct, through pipe, in floor, on pole including jointing and testing including taking out old unerviceable complete all as specified. Note: Clamps, GI pipe, excavation & earth work, sand cushion, cable joints and cable protection covers shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for Painting to HT steel tubular pole with and including cross arms 11 mtr long except planting depth /PCC coping including two coats of aluminum paint with scrabing of old paint including preparation of old painted surface Numbering of poles by making a circle of black color and inside circle writing of (HT POLE/FEEDER NAME/POLE NO. ) in white color all as specified and directed.

M&L for Painting of HT PCC pole/steel tubular pole upto 1.5 mtr height from PCC, of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of cement primer with red and Yellow strips & Numbering of poles by making a circle of black color and inside circle writing of (HT POLE/FEEDER NAME/POLE NO. ) in white color all as specified and directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground ,(Earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level ,connected to and including galvanised iron earth strip 32 X 6 mm by means of nut, bolts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel and provision of charcoal dust and common salt packed all around the earth plate including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil and testing complete all as specified and directed and shown in electrical plate number 5 of MES SSR part-I(1991) (a) Excavation and earth work for drilling hole for electrode in any type of Soil. (b) PCC pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, Pre cast RCC cover with suitable handle 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric weighing not less than1.87 Kg/ Sq meter. (c) Funnel with watering pipe of GI 20 mm nominal bore light grade and lugs etc complete all as specified and directed (d) 50 mm nominal bore medium grade GI protection pipe 7.5m long for protection of earthing lead complete all as specified and directed. (e) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal. (f) Testing of earthing.

Re-Stretching only of loosened existing ACSR conductor (Per Span consisting of any number and size of wire) any size, by opening the binding wire from insulator and re-fixining after streching with proper sag incl strenghtening of ACSR conductor and re-binding the same on insulators and binding complete all as directed. (Note :- The unit rate includes attending the complaints of snapping of conductors as and when occured and as intimated.)

M&L for Pruning of tree branches of any size /dia from HT overhead line up to a minimum clearance of 2.5m from over head conductor incl T &P and transportation for disposal complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and spread 40mm graded stone aggegate in substation yard complete all as directed.

S&F 25x3.15mm dia Aluminium strip as Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or roof conductors for lightning arrestor or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. complete all as specified and directed.
