GE/CHM-56/2026-2027 MODIFICATION OF GI CHARPOY NEWAR TO HARD TOP AT BSO GE CHANDIMANDIR

Removing the existing unserviceable long rails of charpoy GI Pipe and supply and fixing new long rail made out of GI tubing 32mm bore, 1885mm long (medium grade ISI marked) including threading on both sides, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : TATA / JINDAL/OSWAL/ BST NOTE : Contractor shall deposit 50 Nos long rail of approved make GI Pipe in the BSO store yard before execution of work.

Removing the existing unserviceable short rails of charpoy GI pipe and fixing new short rails made out of old unserviceable long rail of charpoy GI pipe obtained from Srl item 1.01 here-in-before, including cutting and threading, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing the existing unserviceable legs of charpoy GI pipe and fixing new legs made out of old unserviceable short rail of charpoy GI pipe obtained from Srl item 1.02 here-in-before, including cutting and threading of each leg, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing the existing unserviceable elbows of charpoy GI pipe and supply and fixing new 32mm bore 3 way elbow (Medium grade) ISI marked, all as specified and shown on drg.

Removing the existing unserviceable check nuts from GI charpoy and supplying and fixing of 5mm thick GI check nuts suitable for 32mm bore pipe, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of old unserviceable wooden plug and supply and fixing in replacement, shoe of suitable size of mild steel plate 3mm thick for leg of 32mm bore GI pipe , welded at the end of the leg, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of unserviceable newar from charpoy GI pipe and removing from site :- a) Tightening of charpoy long rails, short rail, legs, check nuts, elbow etc and also assembling the frame of charpoy GI pipe as if required and directed. b) Supply and fixing by proper welding flat iron stiffener of size 900mm x 32mm x 5mm, 3 No's in each charpoy and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer including preparation of surfaces. c) Supply and fix ply wood top in single piece of size 1980 x 900 x 12mm , 7 ply , commercial, IS: 710 BWP grade, ISI marked fixing with 13 No's of nuts, bolts and washers of 75mm long & 6mm dia round head for long /short rail GI pipe and 6mm dia 35mm long round head for stiffener after drilling holes in GI pipe frame of Charpoy , complete all as specified and directed.
