Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m (One point five metre) in width or 10 sqm (ten Square Metre)on plan) in all kinds of soil. including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) all earth work in cutting/ excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width , camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. All the surplus excavated earth to be dumped at dumping site(dumping sites will be arranged by the contractor on his own cost).Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him at his on cost in all cases including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Excavation in soil inHilly Area by mechanical means inlcuding cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.5m and a lead upto 20m as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1603,1. Any damage to the private/public property during execution will be restored by the contractor what so ever the nature of the same may be. The serviceable materials will be stacked to specified/dimensions in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. a) By Mechanical means.
Earth work in excavation for structure as per drawing and technical specification Clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring & bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50 mtrs. dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable material. I. Ordinary soil.
Stone soling under floor properly hand packed filling interstics with Kharanga stone and consoldating with hand dumet to the requisite gradient and camber including spreading watering and rolling of binding materials complete as per HPPWD specification including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203. a) Cement Mortar 1:6:12(1cement:6sand:12graded stone agg.40mm nominal size).
Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203 . a) Cement Mortar 1:4:8(1cement:4sand:8graded stone agg.25mm nominal size).
Providing and fixing cement concrete 1:2:4(1cement:2sand:4graded stone agg.20mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth in breast and retaining walls etc.including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. .
Stone masonry in cement mortar for substructure complete as per drawing & technical specification Clauses 702,704,1202 and 1204. a)Random rubble masonry (i) In cement mortar 1:6(1cement:6sand).
Construction of dry rubble masonry for retaining walls, breast walls, revetment walls and parapets etc. for substructure and super structure complete as per drawing and technical specifications clause 704.6 & 1302.5.
Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per specification clause 1204.3.8 . a) Granular material.
Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Chequered terrazo tiles 22 mm thick with graded marble chips of size up to 6 mm in floors, jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the tiles, including rubbing and polishing complete, on 20 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand) :
Precast tactiles size 300 x 300 x 25 mm laid in floors, treads of steps and landings on a bed of 25 mm average thickness of cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement :6 coarse sand) jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the tiles ( wherever required ) including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Steel work welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work including cutting hoisting fixing in position and applying a priming coat of red lead paint. a) b)In gratings, framed guards bars ladders, railing, brackets and similar work.
Providing and fixing moulded hand rail of M.S. hollow pipe 50mm dia welded in straight length over M.S. flat at top of vertical balusters including one coat of red oxide priming coat complete (M.S. flat & balusters of railings shall be measured & paid separately.
Applying priming coat over new steel and steel surfaces after and i/c preparing the surface by thoroughly cleaning oil, grease dirt and other foreign matter sand papering and knotting. a)Ready mixed paint brushing wood primer pink.
Painting two coats (excluding coat) on new steel and steel based surface with enamel paint to give an even shade including cleaning the surface of dirt, dust and other foreign matter, sand papering & stopping a) With white enamel paint.
