M&L Checking of Earth Resistance of Chemical/Normal Earthing No. 500 (approximate) to and maintaining the Register as per Appendix 'A' & 'B'. NOTE :- (a) Contractor will Check Earth Resistance of test points and will be recorded in Register, same will be put up to the Engineer-in-Charge through JE E/M. (b) New Earth Resistance Tester will be provided by the Contractor. (Tester should be caliberated from NABL accredited labs). (c) Contractor will be responsible for pouring of water in the Earth Pits Weekly at his own arrangement with Water Tanker, etc. However, Water will be provided by the Department. (d) Checking of Earth Pits existing and improve it by watering, adding of chemical etc. (Chemical will be measured and paid separately) (e) Contractor will be responsible for marking of Earth Check date and due date on existing Plate with paint as specified by Engineer-in-Charge. (f) Contractor will be responsible for cleaning of bushes, grass, sand etc inside and all around upto 1.50 Metre Area of existing Earth Pit with tightening of Strip. (g) Repair Party will be reported every Morning and Evening to JE E/M. (h) Cost of register for noting earthing results, location wise shall deemed to be included with the unit rate. Proforma of detail column will be printed as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (j) The contractor is responsible for mainting the value of chemical earthing as per station norms as directred by Engr-in-Charge. (k) Grid of any no of earth pits having one test point shall be considered as one point for measurement. (k) Recovery for Penalty will be made as follows :- (i) Earthing left without Checked lesser by 25 No. - Rs. 50.00/Earthing (ii) Earthing left without Checked in a Month - Rs. 100.00/Earthing (iii) Earthing left without Cleaning in a Month - Rs. 50.00/Earthing (iv) Earthing left without Watering in a Month - Rs. 30.00/Earthing

M&L for replacement Maintenance Free UL approved Copper Bonded Earth Rod of 10 Feet length 17.2mm dia made of High Tensile Low Carbon Steel Rod, molecularly bonded with 99.9% Electrolyte Grade Copper on outer surface (minimum copper bonding thickness-250 microns) jointed with Copper Bus Bar of size 50x6x200mm with Exothermic joint, complete all as specified and as directed. Make: JMV or Equivalent as approved by GE.

M&L for supply and pouring of RoHS tested Earth Enhancement Compound after mixing with water tested by NABL accredited lab in compliance to IEC 62561-7 with a resistivity < 0.12 ohm-m. It shall be free from bentonite and other hazardous substances. It shall be a permanent, non-corrosive material and will not leach any chemicals into the ground. It shall retain moisture even in high soil resistivity areas. complete all as specified and as directed. Make: JMV or Equivalent as approved by GE. Note: Measurement of Chemical will be done in Powder form.

M&L for supply and fixing of Earth Pit 125 mm dia with FRP Earth Pit Cover of top size 200x200mm bottom size 300x300mm with height of 150mm with lockable Lid, Earth Pit cover shall be made of Poly plastic tested at 7.5 ton load for closing of earth pits complete all as specified and as directed. Make: JMV or Equivalent as approved by GE.

M&L for boring in loose/soft soil upto 200 mm dia, by means of hand/ machine drill, upto 3 Meter depth from ground level and pouring of sufficient water for at least 3 times per day (within working hours) for two days and making hole under reference ready for pouring of chemical complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for replacement of Earthing with Galvanised Earth Plate Electrode 600x600x6 mm thick burried directly in Ground (Earth Pit not less than 2.25 Metre below Ground Level) with Top edge of the Plate not less than 1.50 Metre connected to GI strip 32 x 6 mm size and earthing lead protected with 50 mm bore GI pipe, light grade, filling around with charcoal dust and salt including excavation, returning, filling of earth and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and connected to GI strip by means of GI nuts, bolts and washers strip connected to earth plate including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil so as to achieve earth resistance including excavation of polypit chamber with polyplastic pit cover (cost of polypit chamber with polyplastic pit cover shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge including dismantling of existing unserviceable earthing.all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I complete all as per specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down old unserviceable of earthing system and in replacement of Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 5mm buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 3.50 metre below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 3.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick and packed alternate layer of common salt and charcoal and a top layer of copper sulphate 150 mm thick all as specified and as directed in drawing No CEAF/SK-60/2017 Dt 24.4.17 including bringing of mother soil from outside for filling holes, including Copper strip of size 32 x 6mm by means of nuts, bolts and check nuts, washers of copper up to main board/test point or as required including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil so as to achieve earth resistance below 3 Ohms including excavation of polypit chamber with polyplastic pit cover (cost of polypit chamber with polyplastic pit cover shall be deemed to be included in the rate separated quoted) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge including dismantling of existing unserviceable earthing. Notes : (a) Copper strip beyond test point shall be measured and paid for separately. (b) Earthing resistance result shall be less than 5 Ω .If the result comes more than 5 Ω the contractor shall carry out the earthing at separate location/site given by the Engr-in-Charge after taking out of earth electrode without any extra cost to the deptt. (c) Test point terminal block shall be measured and paid for separately. (d) The contractor's quoted rates shall be deemed to include for dismantling/taking down of old unserviceable earthing of any type and making good the disturbed surfaces and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (e) Any other fittings/fixtures if technically required for achieving desired results (if not included above) shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt. (f) If mother soil is not available then mother soil wil be provided by contractor from outside source without any extra cost to the Govt.

Taking out existing copper bonded rod with all accessories including copper strip of any size /any position and material and labour for maintenance free safe earthing system (set of three electrodes to be used as grid for equipment earthing), each pit complete with 01 Number UL 467 approved/ CPRI tested copper bonded ( copper cladded earth rod with 250 microns of copper cladding) earth rod 17.2mm dia. 3000 mm long electrode buried in ground to bore holes 120 mm dia. vertically to a depth not less than 3.50 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of earth electrode at a depth not less than 500 mm below normal ground level, provision of copper bus bar of size 200mm x 25mm x 6mm for inter connection with copper earth lead strip 25mm x 3mm and further connected to test point terminal block all as directed. Each earth pit shall include minimum 50 Kg (two bags of 25 Kg each) NABL Lab Certified back fill compound for filling bore holes with mother soil mixed in 1:3 ratio (one part of back fill compound and three parts of mother soil), so as to achieve earth resistance below 1 Ohm including excavation of polypit chamber with polyplastic pit cover (cost of polypit chamber with polyplastic pit cover shall be deemed to be included in the rate separated quoted) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Makes : ASHLOK SAFE EARTHING/ PRAGATI/ DHRUVA TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD Notes :(a) Copper strip beyond test point shall be measured and paid separately. (b) Earthing resistance result shall be less than 3 Ω .If the result comes more than 3 Ω, the contractor shall carry out the earthing at separate location /site given by the Engr-in-Charge after taking out of earth electrode without any extra cost to the deptt.

M & L for cement concrete 1:2:4 (20 mm graded stone aggretage) provided around PCC Earthing Pit Chamber of platrform 450 x 450 x 100 mm with fair finished concrete surfaces including necessary formwork and earth work as required/ordered at site, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling the existing earthing pit chamber made of PCC 1:2:4 type B-I (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) and cleaning the area including removal of broken PCC/excavated material all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L Taking out loose/displaced Serviceable Aluminium Strip/ Copper Strip/ GI Strip of any size and any description with Accessories and refixing the same with necessary Fixing Arrangement like Screws, Saddles, Nuts and Bolts, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Cost of Screws, Saddles, Nuts and Bolts of copper/brass, etc. will deemed to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate.

M&L for replacement of Galvanised Iron Strip 32x6mm with Saddles and fixing Screws for Roof/Earth Conductors and Down Conductors, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for replacement of Aluminium Strip 25x3.15mm with Saddles and fixing Screws for Roof/ Earth Conductors and Down Conductors above Ground, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for replacement of Copper Strip 20x3.15mm with Saddles and fixing Screws for Roof/ Earth Conductors and Down Conductors above Ground, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for replacement of Copper strip 32 x 6 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for Roof/Earth Conductors and Down Conductors above ground to interconnect the earth pit to equipment room, all as specified and directed.complete with saddles and fixing screws for fitting the strip.

Material and labour for Copper plate of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 3.15 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for replacement of Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for replacement of Galvanised Iron Tubing/Pipe 25mm bore (dia), light grade for wire Protection, fixed in Walls/Floors with suitable type of Clamps, etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for replacement of Galvanised Iron Tubing/Pipe 40mm bore (dia), light grade for Strip Protection, fixed in Walls/Floors with suitable type of Clamps, etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down old unserviceable of any type of marker and Supply and fixing of Earthing identifier marker of 25mm flat iron 5 mm thick length of flat iron 75 cm long which is 60 cm FI above the Ground level and 15 cm length FI below the Ground level and fixed with PCC 1:2:4 (12.5 mm graded aggregate) in post holes and the TOP of the flat iron parabolic/semicirculer/traingular/rectangular shape MS plate 1.6 mm thick of size 30 cm width and 20 cm height to welded/fixing to the flat iron including two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer on steel surface cutting for Equipment Earthing/Lighting Earthing/L2 Earthing etc complete all including Earth Plate No/Description of Earthing/Type of Earthing on Plate with white paint including earth plate no and earthing resistance with earthing check date and earthing check due date complete all specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for replacement of Pre-cast RCC Cover with Handle 2 Nos and hole of dia 40mm in Cement Concrete 1:2:4 (20mm graded stone aggregate) of size 540x540x60mm, reinforced with and including 10mm dia TMT Bars @ 250mm Centre to Centre in both ways, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down air termination copper/Aluminium rod from roof of buildings (serviceable one for reuse) or (unserviceable one for crediting to contractor) from buildings of height upto 5 metres all as specified and directed.

Franklyn termination multi pointed copper rod,19/20mm dia and 500mm long with base plate of size 100 x 100 x 5mm fixed on top of roof of the building including drilling holes on copper strip and GI Pipe as required for making system for attaching complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge on buildings having height upto 6 mtr. Taking down old unserviceable of any type of Thor and Supply and fixing of THOR safe lightening Protection Rod, with side flash capture head (SLPH), ICMET certified confirming to NFC 17-102, CPRI certified for 40KA which is a free standing mast of appx 4.5 mtr height made of stainless steel, free standing OD 77mm, thickness 3.2 mm, base plate hole M16 12 Nos, to with stand wind speed of 180 KM/Hr and mast coupler, accessory box with in-built bus bar insulator and base plate for fixing on foundation using stainless steel nuts and bolts. The contractor shall provide down conductor of 70 sqmm copper cable properly thimbled with copper lugs on both sides from mast to earthing test point including dismantling the existing unserviceable.
