M&L for Dismantling/ taking down old existing unserviceable cement plaster, loose/ unsound weaken cement concrete of any description and in any position from existing external / internal surface of RCC roof/ slab/ beams/ columns/ RCC facia for an average depth of 25mm (Approx height 7.5m from natural ground level) with power driven pneumatic flat/pointed chisel and removing the honeycombed area including all the corners and making a neat profile of the cavities, roughen the smooth surface , scrapping out/removing corrosion all loose/scale/rust etc form the visible reinforcement by applying rust remover such as Rust Off 100 of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIK India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermax Limited( as approved by GE) and cleaning the steel reinforcement properly, complete all as per manufactures instruction and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for item No. 01 :- (a) Providing cement based angle fillet for 75mm X 75mm admixer with Sikacim, integral waterproofing liquid M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, (as approved by GE) @ 0.2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions over a coat of acrylic emulsion bonding agent, such as Sika Latex in 1:1:3 ratio of Make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/S Fosrox chemicals, M/s Choksec Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) having specific gravity of 1.02 or as per manufacturer’s instructions with necessary surface preparation such as creating mechanical key like rougheing the surface by scrabbing, grit blasting and cleaning the existing surface using high pressure water jet machine having pressure upto 500 bar pressure to remove the dirt, dust, loose particles , wax, efforencene and other contaminations from the surface of RCC columns/ beams/ slabs/ facia/ any brick/ stone surfaces etc complete all as manufactures instructions and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(b) Providing and applying FRIAZINC R, corrosion inhabiliting Active Zinc rich primer of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) along the exposed reinforcement surface property and allowed to dry.

(c)Providing and applying Hibond, Epoxy based Thixotropic bonding adhesive of Make from M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, ( as approved by GE) over the prepared concrete surface to get a good bonding between existing concrete surface and providing Sika Rep Microcrete 4 Fiber reinforced cementitious repair micro concrete of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd ( as approved by GE) over Epoxy based bonding agent applied area before 6 Hrs etc including providing necessary proportions , bracing and runners to relieve the member from the load coming on it including scaffolding leak proof shuttering with working platform as required and as per design and pattern complete including preparing the surface to match with the existing surface,complete all as specified and directed.

(d) Note : The work under (Item No. 1 to Item No. 7 of BOQ) shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators from any of the following manufacturer only. (i) A performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified.

(ii) The unit rate quoted for item No. 1 to 7 of BOQ is deemed to be included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

M&L for Preparation of plastered or un plastered old surfaces of walls, Chajja, balcony, facia etc. by brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down, smoke shoots moulds, mass efforescent salt, treating oil and greasy spots ect and applying one coat of cement based paint, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads and material and labour for 4mm plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazed with oil putty or fixed with fillets 2nd class hard wood of sectional area not exc 3 Sqcm and glass not exc 0.5 sqm each pane, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Nonskid Ceramic tiles 7-8 mm thick, area of each tile exc 0.09 Sqm and not exceeding 0.18 Sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over and including screed bed or bedding layer ,15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4 including taking down existing old tiles and removing rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Ceramic wall tiles 7-8 mm thick designed , of size 300 x 450 mm in walls vertical surfaces etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over and including rendering 10 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:3 including taking down old existing tile and removing rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises and leaving the work clear of any plastering and material and labour for Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately.

Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed. Make ;- Dr. Fixit, pidi proof or equivalent.

M&L applying two coats of cement based paint over and including one coat of primer, including preparation of newly plastered wall surfaces of any description, complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 38 & 39 : (a) Vitrified tiles are classified under group B1a of the international Standard for ceramic tiles ISO: 13006. Tiles shall be hard, dense, impervious and frost resistant. Water absorption of tiles shall be less than 0.5% and flexural strength (Modulus of Rupture) shall be more than 35 N/Sqmm. (b) The manufacturer's test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority.

Material and labour for providing cement concrete 1:1.5:3 screed 25mm thick cement concrete mix admixed with fosroc nit band or equivalent make at 2% by weight of cement, and cleaning the prepared concrete surfaces and applying Fosroc Nit proof (Min 0.80mm dft) over a priming coat of Nit proof primer or equivalent product and including taking down existing water proofing treatment of tar felt including cement plaster from roof surfaces such as and disposal of the rubbish from the primises beyond 250m, complete all as specified and as directed. .

M&L for Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent , trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat oil bound distemper, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall by using pressure washer, removal all dirt and dust and applying one coat of exterior emulsion weater proof paint, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:-(i) Cost of scaffolding required is deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (ii) Work shall be carried out through authorised applicator/ agency of approved manufacturer by GE.

M&L for Preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls by using pressure washer, remove all dirt & dust ,applying one coat of wall care putty and then applying two coats of premium oil bound distemper over one coat of primer as per manufauture instruction of required shade, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge. Note:-(i) Cost of scaffolding required is deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

M&L for Preparation of old painted wooden surface of any description and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint using mechanical means, not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of old painted surfaces of steel and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint using mechanical means over 10 cm width or girth, not other wise described, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Machine cut kota stone slab flooring 20-25mm thick including 20mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the colour including taking down existing tile and removing rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for machine cut sadrahalli stone slab of 18-20mm thick (1st quality) as in floor, riser or steps, skirting, dado and pillar laid over cement screed and jointed grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab and including rubbing, polishing , 20mm thick screed bed including taking down existing tiles and removing rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down steel windows/ ventilators area n.exc 1.5 Sqm each including all fittings , complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing steel ventilators with top hung shutter including hinges, steel pegs, stay etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing Steel windows with side hung shutters including projecting type hinges, frame with steel handle, and steel peg stay, complete with glazing bars, dovetailed or welded, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Repair to leakage/seepage from the wall/ door bend /door tee/ 'Y' junction/ 'T' Junction of soil pipe / waste pipe/ vent pipe of kitchen/ bathroom/WC of the upper Qtr or at the ground floor Qtr including change of any damaged soil waste pipes or fittings of any shape, specification and size, making good to the damaged portion of wall with brick work in cement mortar 1:6 or cement concrete 1:2:4 and plastering to wall in CM 1:4 and matching to existing wall complete to avoid the leakage/ seepage at the site of work , complete all as specified and directed.by the Engineer -in- charge

Note for item No 66 & 67 :- (a) Find out main cause of leakage and take necessary steps to resolve / rectify. (b) Replace existing tiles in case leakage through NT/FT. (c) The rate also include provision of new NT/FT. (d) The unit rate is also deemed to be included for reqd bonding chemicals to arrest the leakage/seepage as direct by the manufacturer specification. Material and labour for Cleaning of air/dust blockages in the internal water supply lines concealed or fixed on the wall or floor surfaces by taking down the fitting such as taps, valves, unions etc to facilitate/stimulate clearance of blockages/airlocks and re fixing the dismantled items after clearance of blockage/airlocks including fiiitngs etc complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and fixing Rotational moulded polythene water storage tank of 500 Ltrs capacity (three layer white colour) cylindrical vertical with closed top including 3 Nos GI check nuts and tank nipple of 25mm bore for inlet and outlet, 25mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR part -I including taking down of old unserviceable tank complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 15mm chromium plated shower rose with or without swivel joints and including fixing to steel pipe or union, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down high or low level flushing cistren 10 ltrs capacity & connections to pipes & fixing of chain & pull or lever after cleaning inside of all dirt, scale formation, replacement of rubber washers, stopping of leakage etc and refixing in same location, complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and fixing in repair waste coupling 32mm dia of PTMT (half or full thread) minimum weight 45 gram, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair Grating doom 150 mm dia with waste hole of PTMT. (Minimum weight 100gms), complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing Rotational moulded polythene water storage tank of 2000 Ltrs capacity (three layer white colour) cylindrical vertical with closed top including 3 Nos GI check nuts and tank nipple of 25mm bore for inlet and outlet, 25mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR part -I including taking down of old unserviceable tank, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair tubular towel rail alumunium anodised 20mm dia 'D' type 60cm long between flanges , complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Removing plant/Uprooting of vegetation growth including roots on wall/roof/parapet near pipes etc and applying acid treatment after removing roots for preventing regrowth and making good disturbed surfaces in superficial area exc 150 Sq.cm but n.exc 400 Sq.cm and averaging depth not exceeding 10 cm by using PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) or 10mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:3 as required and finishing the surfaces to match with the existing surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 86 :- (a) Rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to inclusive of double steel scaffolding. (b) Contractor shall provide safety gears to his workers at his own cost and safety precaution to avoid accidents.

Material and labour for 100 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in flooring, finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair PVC water tank Cover for 500 ltrs/1000 lits capacity PVC , complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs brass chromium plated 2-in-1 tap 15mm bore for fixing of health faucet, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- An amount of Rs 30530.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
