SCH 'A' PART-I AC PLANT WORK AND CIVIL WORKS:- Dismantling and taking down old central AC plants various type comprising compressors, compressor motors, condenser pumps,cooling tower,AHU,panel board with control switches, condenser water pipe lines, etc. and all connected items including demolition of foundation from M-53 over hauling bay (H No-11) 240 TR ( 6 x 40 TR) Plant for facilating replacement of BER plants with new plants and removing from site all as directed. Note:- AC duct shall be removed upto plenum level and AC ducting inside building shall not be dismantled & neither it is part of schedule of credit. All other items are part of schedule of credit.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of AHU for operation of supply and return air application suitable capacity, indoor type, draw through type of sectionalized construction, factory made, floor mounted double skin type made of 25mm thick modular AHU panels with GI casing of thickness 24 Gauge outside layers and 24 Gauge inside layer injected with CFC free polyurethane foam (PUF) of 38 kg/cum density insulation complete with blower section, chilled water cooling coil section, filter section with muffler and access door to attend the motor/fan with lighting provisions and all accessories capacity not less than 30000 CFM including necessary PCC foundation with vibration isolators all as specified and as directed.including comprising of following :- (i) Cooling coil of 6 row deep copper tube with aluminium fins with automatic controlled+ anti-freeze thermostat . Supply, installation, Testing & Commissioning of DDC controller & DDC panel (IP-54 protection). This unit shall stand-alone type. The unit shall able to control and monitor return air temp/RH. Temp shall be controlled with the help of 3-way modulating valve and RH shall be monitor with the help of heater installed in AHU. The DDC controller should comprise of temp./RH sensor & programmable operator terminal for monitor & control. The DDC controller panel shall have instrument and Micro-controller panel & Field device. Instrument and Micro-controller panel shall be wall mounting type, duly wired and tested with following features:- (i) Fully programmable (ii) Complete protection for A/C from unhealthy condition. (iii) All set points programmable from keypad. (iv) Password protection for controller. (v) 16 Char. 2 lines LCD display with back light, on controller front panel. (vi) Four key interface for on site programming. (vii) Separate Alarm contacts for A/C fail alarm. (viii) Automatic display of A/C parameters one by one in Run mode. (ix) Status & healthy indication by LED on front panel. (x) Alarm indication by LED on front panel. (xi) Room Temp sensing by precise sensor. (xii) Direct display of actual room temperature. (xiii) All faults Auto reset.

The DDC controller panel also supply, installation and testing of following field devices. i) Room temp. sensor at return air path. (1 No) ii) Room temp. thermostates in condition area. (1 No). iii) Air flow switch in electrical heater section, electrical heaters shall be controlled in one or more steps by return air temp, and interlock with airflow switch installed in the electrical heater section of AHU. Electric heater cannot be in operation without supply air flow. (1 No) iv) An automatic reset thermal cut off switch shall be provided which will stop the electric heater when the high limit temperature is reached. Electric heater shall reset automatically, when the related return air temperature drops blow setting point, winter heater shall be operate only on running of AHU Fan. Note: While installing DDC controller, instrument and Micro-controller panel and field devices they shall be integrated with each other. Note: Panel shall be fabricated by CPRI certifiied vender.

The dampers shall be made of heavy gauge galvanized steel having multi blade construction. The blades shall be fitted with chrome plated shaft and self lubricated phosphorus bronze bushes. The dampers shall also be provided with jam seal (compression type) on sides to prevent spread of smoke and fire. The blades of the dampers are held in the ‘open’ position by a high tensile spring and a fusible link. The fusible link should be UL stamped and operates at 74˚C, causing the damper to close immediately on break fire to prevent the spread of fire through the ducts all as specified and as directed. M&L for complete cleaning of ducts by using HEPA filtered vacuum unit of plant of 160 TR AC plant complete from AHU to last user end air grill and running to creative negative pressure in the duct system by placing the same outside the occupied space by using variety of tools to agitate and loosen the dust, which shall be then drawn into the vacuum unit and contained therein. SCH 'A' PART-II ( MANNING AND OPERATION OF AC PLANT) : Manning and operation of central AC plant of 3x80 TR capacity at M-53 overhauling bay having compressors with its connected items such as condensers/chillers, water circulating pumps, chilling pumps, blowers, blower motor, cooling tower with fan and motor including connected starters etc in all respect for smooth running of AC plants during the running period to maintain designed Air conditioning/chilled water temperature inside the building/ block from 06:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs (Two shift of 08 hours) every day except holidays and sundays as observed by the air force authority and cleaning of all equipments and sweeping inside and outside of the installation and maintaining of log sheet on daily basis and proper dress code followed by the operator complete and tightning of pump gland, filling of new gland and new gland nut bolts and electrical complaints of motor pump and panel and starter will be attended and rectified by the contractor without any extra cost for smooth function of plant all as specified and as directed (a) 3 x 80 TR AC Plant at M-53 overhauling bay at 4 BRD for the first year of defect libility period

All as per ser item No 119 (a) above, but for second year of defect libility period. Note for Srl item No. 119 (a) & 120:- (i) Cleaning of all AC plants, machinery and inside and outside location is the responsibility of contractor. (ii) If any operator found absent from duty Rs. 3000/- per day will be recovered from the contractor. (iii) If the contractor failed to commence the work on due date Rs. 2000/- per installation per day will be recovered from the contractor till commencement of the work. (iv) Contractor will provide police verification of all operator before commencement of work (v) Before commencement of work contractor will provide all documents such as educational qualification, ID proof of operator in duplicate. (vi) Contractor will be maintain Attendance Register, Visitor register, maintenance record register, daily log sheet, operator payment register and produce every month to the Engineer-in- Charge. (vii) The contractor should be employed only ITI holder in the specific trade (viii) The operator deployed shall be in uniform indicating the name of individual and firm.
