REPAIRING OF OLD QG (BLDG NO. DT/SF/60,61,62, 63/85)

Demolishing cement concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix) manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of materials within 50 m lead as per direction of Engineer – In – Charge on floor.

Dismantling of old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster incl disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 mtr lead.

Repair to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sqm and under incl cutting the patch in proper shape, racking out joints and plastering the surface of the walls etc. complete with CM (1:4).

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Distempering with oil bound washable distemper (one or more coats) of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade.

Finishing wall with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade on old work (two or more coats on existing cement paint surface applied).

Providing cement concrete pavement with 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), including finishing complete.

Providing and laying ceramic glazed floor tiles of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigments. etc. complete.

Providing and Painting two or more coats with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade.

Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows (steel or wood) shutter of area 3 sqm and below including chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. Complete and stacking within 50 metres lead.

Providing and fixing 1mm thick MS sheet door with frame 45x45x6mm angle iron and 3 mm MS gusset plates at the junction and corners, all necessary fittings complete, including applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, using MS angle 45x45x6mm for diagonal braces.

Providing and fixing T-iron frames for doors, windows and ventilators of mild steel angle iron chowkats 40x40x6 mm incl fixing of necessary butt hinges and screw and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer.

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections and frame work etc incl cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a primer coat of steel primer all complete.

Providing and fixing fly proof stainless steel grade 304 wire gauge, to windows and clerestory windows using wire gauge with average width of aperture 1.4 mm in both directions with wire of dia 0.50 mm. with 2nd class teak wood beading 62x19 mm all complete.

Renewing of glass panes with putty and nails in steel windows and ventilator wherever necessary including racking out the old putty with float glass panes of 4mm thick.

Providing and fixing M.S. tower bolt black finish of size : 150x10 mm.

Providing and fixing M.S. tower bolt black finish of size : 100x10 mm.

Providing and fixining M.S. sliding door bolts (size 250x16 mm) with nuts and screws etc. Complete.

Providing and fixining (300 mm) chromium plated brass casement stays (straight peg type) with necessary screws etc. Complete.

Providing and laying of grading roof for water proofing treatment with cement concrete 1:2:4 with graded stone aggregates 20 mm nominal size.

Providing and laying water proofing treatment in bed of roof slab by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying (a) First layerof slurry of cement @ 0.488 Kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 Kg/sqm. This layer to air cure for 4 hrs minimum, (b) 2nd layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs minimum followed with water curing.

Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer's specifications including appropriate priming coat, prepartion of surface, etc. Complete.

Demolishing brick work in cement mortar manually/by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 mtr lead.

Providing and laying half brick masonry in cement mortar 1:4 with common burnt clay F.P.S (non modular) bricks of class designation in drain of plinth protection.

Providing 15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix 1:4.

Providing and making plinth protection 50 mm thick of cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) over 75 mm thick bed of dry brick ballast 40 mm nominal size, well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand, including finishing the top smooth.

RETAINING WALL

Earth work in excavation in by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including disposal of excavated earth, lead upto 50 and lift upto 1.5m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed in all kind of soil.

Earth work in excavation in fdn trenches incl dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms lift upto 1.5 m incl getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed with in a lead of 50 m in all kind of soil.

Random Rubble masonry with hard stone in fdn and superstructure incl leveling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 Cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone agg 20mm nominal size) with cement mortar 1:6 (1 Cement : 6 coarse sand).

Providing and laying 50mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone 20 mm nominal size agg) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering.

Pointing on stone work with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 sand) with raised and cut pointing.

Providing and fixing Pre Cast cement concrete block in bed plates for weep hole with cement conc 1:3:6 PCC (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone agg 20 mm nominal size).

Providing and fixing on wall unplasticised rigid PVC pipes 75 mm dia weep holes.

PCC HARDSTANDING

Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan incl disposal of excavated earth upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, disposed soil to be leveled and neatly dressed in all kind of soil.

Supply and laying of hard core with stone agg of 63 mm size deposited, spread and leveled in layers n.exc 15 cm thick, watered and ramming to true surface etc complete.

Providing and laying in position plain cement concrete with cement mortar 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering.

Providing and laying in position plain cement concrete with cement mortar 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering etc complete and making chequeres of approved pattern.

Providing and making form work for sides of the concrete.

Providing and filling contraction joints 40 mm deep and 10 mm wide filled with sealing compound with hot run bitumen and sand mix, grade `A'.

FOOT PATH

Surface excavation n.exc. 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in all kind of soil.

Providing and laying hard core of gauge n.exc 63 mm size deposited, spread and leveled in layers n.exc 15 cm thick.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Providing and making form work for sides of the concrete.

Providing and laying precast chequered cement concrete tiles of size 25cm x 25cm x 22mm thick, set joined and pointed in neat cement slurry dark shed with pigment with ordinary cement over 15mm thick screed bed of cement mortar 1:6 (1 Cement : 6 coarse sand) including a coat of acrylic exterior paint on tiles.
