Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 33 KV outdoor (IP 54) type extensible ring main unit (RMU) floor mounted, with internal copper bus bars and Metering Modules. All live parts, bus pars, VCBs connections of RMU should be enclosed in Stainless Steel tank of 2+/-0.5 mm thick sealed for life having IP67 degree of protection filled with gas as insulation with leakage rate less than 0.1% per year tested as per IEC 62271-200. RMU shall have solid earthing system, RMU should complete with all accessories, fittings & fixtures as per with IEC standards 62271-200. Internal arc type tested for 20 KA for 1 Sec, RMU test reports shall be type tested. OEM shall submit type test reports and routine test reports. The unit shall include the following with all necessary standard fittings required at site etc complete all as specified and directed. 01 No Incoming VCB and 02 Nos Outgoing VCB module, with following specifications:-

(a) Rated voltage should be – 36KV

(b) Rated power frequency voltage – 70 KV

(c) Rated lightning impulse withstand voltage – 170 KV

(d) Rated current for VCB feeder – 630 Amps

(e) Rated short time current withstand – 25 KA for 1 Sec

(f) Rated short time making current – 50 KA

(g) Nominal operating gas pressure – 1.2 Bar abs.

(h) Ambient Temperature – (0 deg C to +50 deg C condering some deration)

(j) Rated internal arc rating – 20 KA for 1 Sec IAC-AFL/AFLR in tank and cable box both.

(k) RMU shall be fully motorised manual operation both.

(l) RMU shall be provided with battery and battery charger rated for 24V DC for motorisation suitable for 10 No. ON/OFF operations (enclosed in RMU).

(m) Cable boxes suitable for termination of upto 1 x 3C x 300 Sqmm XLPE cable with touch proof cable termination kit (300 Sqmm, 3 core, 33 KV), suitable clamping plate and copper earthing bar for grounding the cable braid.

(n) “Live Cable” LED indicators through capacitor voltage dividers mounted on the bushings.

(o) RMU cable box shall be only front accessible type to have easy access to protection and metering CTS.

(p) RMU shall have suitable metering compartment.

(q) RMU metering compartment shall be provided with line connected potential transformer rated for ratio 33 KV/RT 3, 110V/RT 3, 25KV for metering purpose having class – 0.5 accuracy for all incoming and outgoing feeders.

(r) RMU shall be provided with metering CTs rated for 200-100/1 amps class-0.5 accuracy, 2.5 VA burder for all circuit breakers and load break switches.

(s) RMU shall be provided with protection CTS rated for 200-100/1 amps class-10P10 accuracy, 2.5 VA burden for all circuit breakers.

(t) All feeders of RMU shall be provided with multifunction meters with accuracy class 0.5 having complete range of measurement including maximum demand and shall have serial port for communication on MODBUS protocol. The RMU manufacturer shall user meters of reputed make.

(u) All circuit breaker feeders shall be self powered and provided with over current & earth fault protection for transformer and shall have serial port for communication on modbus protocol. The RMU manufacturer shall user relay of reputed make.

(v) RMU shall be provided with fault passage indicators on every feeder having LCD display and auto reset facility and one NO/NC auxiliary contact for showing status of SCADA.

(x) Electrical as well as mechanical interlocking arrangement shall be provided for safety and operations.

Note : The quoted rates include PCC footings with brick masonry 1.2 M wide on all four sides including making arrangements for cable entry on rear side of RMU duly plastered including approach stairs. RMU shall be installed at a height of 75 cm above ground level.

Earthing complete with copper plate electrode 60cm X 60cm X 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 3 Mtrs deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 2.4 Mtr below normal ground level connected to copper strip 20 X 3mm size by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of copper all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR- I connected to continuous earth wire on pole all as specified and testing on completion, including provision of earth strip protected by 40mm dia GI light grade protection pipe from test point to main board and 20 mm GI medium grade watering pipe funnel, hinged type angle iron frame pit and CI cover charcoal, salt and copper strip including excavation and earth work etc complete all as directed at site.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation, etc or for shaft, well, cesspit, manhole, pier holes etc. not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out soft/loose soil etc complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling with earth obtained from excavation including spreading watering and consolidation in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick .etc complete all as specified & directed.

Removal of excavated material not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point .etc complete all as specified & directed.

M&L Sand cushioning to PVC underground cable with screened and washed sand (tibba sand) and punning to provide a required cover etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast cable covers class HV, type I, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying and commissioning XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor 33000 volts grade of cross sectional area 300 sq.mm 3 core IS-7098 marked, laid in trenches/ ducts/ encased in GI pipe/ fixed to poles including jointing & testing complete all as specified and directed.
