Tender for Providing and fixing Polycarbonate Sheet for Shed Near Main Gate at IIT Ropar

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Providing and fixing double wall polycarbonate sheet roofing system, including 10mm thick UV-resistant multiwall polycarbonate sheets of approved make (such as Lexan, Tuflite, or equivalent), aluminum glazing channels, EPDM/neoprene gaskets, PVC washers, self-drilling screws, rivets, weather-resistant silicone sealant for joints, scaffolding arrangements for safe working at heights, and all materials, labour, tools, and equipment, complete as per manufacturer’s specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & Fixing structure of steel members using structural steel built up sections , conforming to IS-1161 and IS 4923 with latest amendments, to the required profile, curvature and shape as called for as per the drawings and specifications. This item includes preparation of fabrication , scaffolding and staging, all cutting, grinding, surface treatment, painting, welding bolts & all labour, tools, plants & equipments and operations etc required to complete the job as per drawings and specifications. Every precaution to be taken to prevent rusting of sections. This item also includes all tests on materials and welded fabricated parts as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Temporary bolts and nuts (Grade 8.8) to be used during assembling shall be removed before site erection. This supporting truss shall be fixed on existing RCC beams and columns with suitable fixing arrangements.
