REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF UNSERVICEABLE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM AT DEPOT AREA NAD SUNABEDA UNDER GARRISON ENGINEER (P) (NAVY) VISAKHAPATNAM

Comprehensive Maintenance and Repairs of electrically operated networking type intergrated fire alarm system located at various locations/buildings which consists various types of panels, communicating devices, connecting cables and central control /monitoring system etc at different locations of NAD Sunabeda area; Comprehensive maintenance cosists of mantaining existing fire alarm systems with collective/ selective control schedule by carrying out periodic checks, repairs and testing as recommended by the manufacturer and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge to ensure smooth, healthy, safe and effecient operation including repair/replacement of all spare parts/ accessories etc required as per the system requirement of compatible make as specified by the OEM required to keep the fire alarm systems in good and safe working condition. and consist of the following and installed at various locations / buildings :- Item continued as srl item No.1.10 & 1.20 & 1.30

(i) Microprocessor based addressable networking type Fire alarm CT control panels of various loop capacity with power supply units, Master control unit (Graphics work station),Manual call points, Monitor modules, sounders/sirens, control modules, DC power supply units, TCP / IP Modules (Ethernet module), OFC to Ethernet convertors, fibre switches, LIU, SFP modules, SC to LC fiber patch cards, Cat 6 Patch cards, wall mount racks, armoured OFC cables, Flexible copper cables, communicating devices, connecting cabling network and allied all components of the complete system of make Siemens / Apollo/Honeywell /Siemens/ Ravel/ Agni/ Godrej/ Airlight/ Morley/ Notifier/ Safeway etc (Note: (i) Schedule of works to be carried out by the contractor shall be as per the IS-2189:2008 and also refer respective cluases under Particluar Specifications. (ii) Spare parts required for smooth functioning of the system shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items here-in-after as "Supply only". (iii) Cost of labour for replacement of spare parts shall deemed to be included in unit quoted rate under this item. (iv) Minor spares not included in this shcedule but required for smooth functioning of the system shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt. (v) The contractor shall visit the sites and inspect complete fire detection & alarm system alonwith addressable system including all connected devices and ascertain the conditions of the systems in all respect before quoting their rates in tender. Contractor has to replace/repair all the defective items found at site during execution of the work for smooth functioning of the sytem. No representation/claim whatsoever arises shall be entertained during execution of work (vi) Comprehensive maintenance, checking, servicing, preventive/periodical, routine and corrective (break down) maintenance, cleaning, inspection and testing in and including repair/replacement of defective components/parts/accessories/devices of UL listed/control wiring harness shall be carried out by the authroised personnel of authorised dealer of the system and quoted rate shall deemed to include all this aspect. (vii) The contractor must maintain the system as per the regular maintenance schedule and shall be responsible for 100% functionality of the complete fire alarm and dtection system (viii) The system components shall be cleaned, recalibrate and retested if necessary to ensure continued performance and reduce the risk of component or system failure Item continued as srl item No.1.30

(ix) All relevant Tools & Plant and stationery such as attendnace register, Periocical maintenance register, log book etc required to operate, repair, servicing and to maintain the system shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt. (x) All consumable items such as fuses, resistance, cleaning materials, battery acid, distilled water, battery thimbles clamp, grease and thimbles of all sizes, PVC insulation tape, nuts,bolts and screws etc shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt. (xi) The regular and periodical cleaning/routine checking/testing and adjusting the detectors shall be carried out by the contractor in planned and systematic manner as per IS-2189:2208 with the help of TESTFIRE smoke & Heat Test Kit for efficient and smooth functioning of the system without any extra cost to the Govt. (xii) The contractor shall be responsible for handing over the complete fire detection and fire alrm system alongwith all devices /accessories/control wiring harness in serviceable condition at the time of completion of works duly inspected by the Engr-in-Charge jointly and inspection report of servicieablilty state of complete Fire alarm and detection system shall be submitted. (xiii) Contractor shall give the demo and training for all duty staff/user about the fire alarm system. The unit quoted rate under this item shall deemed to be included all these aspects. No claim wahatsoever arising in this regard shall be entartained by the Govt later on. (xiv) Major parts and earthwork for replacement/repairs to networking cables shall be paid under relevant items of schedule.

Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of Intelligent addressable Main fire alarm control panel suitable capacity for addressable integrated fire alarm system four loop, networking type with option of expandable up to four loops and consist loop cards of addressable as per UL 864 9th Edition NFPA 72 & NABL with switch mode power supply battery back up and charger with all accessories comprise the following specifications,complete all as per manufacturers instructions and as directed by Eng-in-charge.(i) Each loop card have maximum capacity 254 analogue addressble field devices in any combination of detectors/modules. and also with complete set up of LCD display, mother board, cables, battery , charger, all the spares etc Tested and proved functionally, complete including testing complete all as specified and as directed. Supply only weather proof (flame proof instrumentation) manual call point incase of fire break glass with hammer, chain including connecting with monitor module complete all as per manufacturers instructions and as directed by Eng-in-charge. MAKE : Siemens/ Honeywell/ Apollo/ Ravel or as per sample and compatible to integrate with existing system

Supply only weather proof type Horn / strobe operating on 24 V DC, including connecting with control module complete all as per manufacturers instructions as per existing sample complete all as directed. Supply only of addressable monitor module with inbuilt isolator for monitoring the field NO/NC devices with binary coding setting dip switch including LED indication for normal and active modes as per approved UL listed complete all as per manufacturers instructions and as directed by Eng-in-charge.
