Dismantling and taking out the existing unserviceable mono block centrifugal pump set by disconnecting the cable connection suction and delivery pipe lines of the pump set, separate the motor from pump, transporting to workshop, removing the burnt out winding from slots, cleaning the starter and rotor slots with CTC and emery paper and rewinding the motor with as per existing size of new supper enameled copper winding wire and insulating by using class ‘B’ insulation keeping for drying, bring back to site, reassemble the motor and pump, fixing in position, connecting electric connections testing and commissioning for its satisfactory performance including taking down old unserviceable copper winding complete all as specified and as directed for the upto 5 HP capacities :-

Material and labour for overhauling and refurbishing of induction motors by carring out the following works including reassembling the same and testing complete for 30 HP capacity and different capacities as under :- (a) Disconnection of power supply after proper electrical shut down, taking out the motor from foundation by and dismantling the coupling and transporting to workshop from site. (b) Dismantling the motor assembly, cleaning of winding for all traces of dust and grease and cleaning the inner surfaces by petrol, pre heating of stator in the heating chamber at 100 degree celcius for 4 hours and applying of bectol red finishing varnish over the winding. Material and labour for disconnecting the motor by delinking the centrifugal pump set and transporting the motor to the work shop , opening the motor and removing the unserviceable / burnt out windings from the motor stator, cleaning the stator and stator slots with petrol, rewing with existing size copper winding wire and insulating as per the existing class of insulation, varnishing, ovening etc, testing at workshop under NO Load, assembling the motor and transporting to site, fixing on the bed, reassembling with centrifugal pump set, painting complete with one coat of enamelled paint as per existing shade complete and testing at NO Load to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge for the motor capacity 100 HP NOTE : (i) Transportation and necessary T&P for shifting the motor to workshop and back to site shall be included in the quoted rates by the contractor.
