SPECIAL REPAIRS TO SQUASH COURT AT BAITHKOL, NAVAL BASE KARWAR

Supply and fixing Air-Cush wooden sport flooring system in Squash Court conforming to the requirements of WSF (World Squash Federation) all as specified and laying as per manufacturer's instructions and directed by Engr-in-Charge consisting of the following:-

(a) Surface Board:- Made of Kiln Seasoned Maple wood (Sycamore) (moisture content of approx 12 %) surface board finished with 21 mm thick, 50 to 110 mm width and in random length in tongue and grooved shape. The edges of the board will have a finger lock groove and the bottom side with air pass groove and treated with special anti-termite and water resistant lacquer. (b) Under Frame:- Made of commercial quality pine wood runners of 90/70 mm x 45 mm, treated with anti-termite solution and fixed on the bottom side with 18 mm thick air cushioned pads, stapled through the two wings at 350 mm C/C. (c) Installation:- IPS subfloor treated with a vapour barrier to be placed on the levelled IPS sub-floor before laying the under frame. The runners having air cushion pads to be placed on the vapour barrier in perfect level at 350 mm in one direction. The surface board to be screwed to the runner through the tongue only and will lock the screwed tongue by the groove of adjoining board. Ends of the boards will be locked by inserting the wooden fingers through the edge grooves and fixed with suitable adhesive. An expansion of 8 to 10 mm to be left open between the wooden flooring and the surrounding tiled area / walls.

(d) Finishing:- After laying the flooring, the floor will be machine sanded in uniform level and finished with Imported non skid DIN certified Polyurethane lacquer. Game line marking will be carried out in required colour before applying finish coat. MAKE: Sundek or equivalent make as approved by GE. NOTE: Contractor is required to produce approval certificate from WSF (World Squash Federation) before incorporation in the work.

Material & Labour for Red colour line marking on wooden flooring of Squash court as per WSF standard all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Sunplast cement based Hard Plaster system conforming the requirements of WSF (World Squash Federation) consisting of a Base Coat and a Finish Coat of a total thickness of 15 mm and coated with Imported Swedish washable paint system including taking down old cement plaster of any description all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling boarding, any description, fixed in any position with nails complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling timber scantlings 40 sqcm and over in section, in any position complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, light fitting etc. removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit (credit for above items should be made as per conditions separately) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, etc.

M & L for point wiring with 1.5 Sqmm PVC (FRLS) insulated unsheathed multi stranded copper conductor cable 1100 volts grade single core conforming to IS-694-1990 and including one run of continous earth wire to common earth and connected to earth with 1.5 Sqmm PVC (FRLS) insulated unsheathed multi stranded copper conductor cable draw in existing conduit including CI/MS/PVC sunk boxes for mounting switches, sockets, regulators etc with 3 mm thick plastic laminated sheet cover of adequate size for one light/fan/bell point controlled by one switch and making good disturbed surfaces with CM (1:4) to match with the existing surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No 23.00 above but for 5 pin switch socket outlet 5 Amp on same board with other switches, complete all as specified.

M & L for point wiring with 2.5 Sqmm PVC (FRLS) insulated unsheathed multi stranded copper conductor cable 1100 volts grade single core conforming to IS-694-1990 and including one run of continous earth wire to common earth and connected to earth with 2.5 Sqmm PVC (FRLS) insulated unsheathed multi stranded copper conductor cable draw in existing conduit including CI/MS/PVC sunk boxes for mounting switches, sockets, regulators etc with 3 mm thick plastic laminated sheet cover of adequate size for 3 pin switch socket outlet 15/20 Amp on independent board and making good disturbed surfaces with CM (1:4) to match with the existing surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F switch piano flush button, 5 Amps, 240 volts, single pole one way complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F socket outlet 2 in 1, 3 Pin 5 Amps flush type all as specified and directed.

S & F switch socket combination out let 2 in 1, 5/6 Pin, 5 and 15 Amps flush type all as specified and directed.

S & F Lamp holder, insulated body, with back plate for batten fitting with LED Lamp 9 W, complete all as specified.

S & F in repairs LED tube light fitting 1x20 W, 6500 K including provn of flexible cable 3 core, 23/.0076 from ceiling rose to connector complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. MAKE: Havells, Cat Part No- LHEXBXPNIN1W020 or equivalent in Bajaj/CG/Wipro/C&S.

Supply and fix in repairs mini mirror LED box type light fittings of 9 Watt including making necessary connection complete all as specified and directed. MAKE: Havells cat part No. LHESABP7IN1W009 or equivalent in Philips/C&S/Bajaj

S & F in repairs installaton LED Bulk Head 10 W with pressure plastic housing with clear prismatic diffuser, high efficient LEDs IP54 including taking down old burnt out bulk head fitting any type and complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. MAKE: Bajaj, Cat Part No -BIBWP 10W LED or equivalent in CG/Havells/Wipro/Halonix/C&S

S & F ceiling rose surface type bakelite 50 x 65 mm two to three terminals all as specified.

M & L for taking down ceiling/wall/exhaust fan any type/size and refixing at same or other location after cleaning, greasing, oiling & servicing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs distribution board iron clad, DB double door with IP-43 protection suitable for MCB TPN as incommer and MCB as outgoing 415 Volts 3 phase 50 Hz 4 way, complete with appropriate size copper busbar and neutral link complete & including cutting chases to wall for fixing DB and making good the disturbed wall surface all as required at site and including taking down old unserviceable existing DB any type/size complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. S & F in repairs MCB TPN 32 Amp, 415 V, 4 Pole, 10 KA, 'C' Series complete all as specified. MAKE: Indo Asian Cat Part No-810095 or equivalent in Legrand/Schneider/Siemens/C&S

S & F in repairs MCB SP, 240 V, 6-32 Amp 10 KA complete all as specified. MAKE: Indo Asian or equivalent in Legrand/Schneider/Siemens/C&S

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 Mtrs below ground level with top edge of earth plate a depth not less than 1.5 m below ground level connected to galvanized wire 4 mm dia (earth lead) by means of check nuts and washer of galvanized iron,earth conductor protected by galvnised steel pipe 15 mm bore light grade and connected to main switch board, CI pit cover and frame duly painted with black bituminus paint, funnel with wire mesh, 20 mm bore GI pipe med grade for watering charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil incl PCC pit and testing after completion all as shown on electrical plate No-3 of MES Sch Part-I 2009.
