Maintenance and Upkeep of Industrial Area FY 2026-27. Sub Head- Cleaning and Desilting of S.W. Drains at Wazirpur Industrial Area

Desilting Work (Pre monsoon) Desilting of open drains, covered drains, culverts, pipe drain etc. by taking out silt, sludge, building rubbish earth mixed malba, dead animals, plastic bags & all type of floating, solid and semi-soilid malba / rubbish etc. from flowing water (including removing and replacing of drain cover) and stacking of waste material / silt /rubbish etc. within a lead of 50 meter and for all lifts in or under foul condition including pumping out water if required during desiltng including all required T & Ps (Disc rope, bamboos, steel road, suitable mechanical device, JCB, oxygen mask, sand bags, pump set, pump operator and diesel etc. required for de-silting) as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The rate includes all the operation as above including working in foul condition and making all road safety measure during the execution of work. The payment of this item will be made on submission of the coloured photographs in two copies at an interval of every 50m of before and after cleaning of drains and a digital soft copy of the same. Note-1 :- The drain should be desilted completely within 2 months after stipulated date of start of work. if particular drain is reported not to be desilted than a penalty equal to quoted rates of that drain (item) shall be imposed for non completion of work. For Drain Widths from 0.30 mtrs to 0.60 mtr and depth of silt from 0.20 mtr to 0.60 mtrs

For Drain Widths above 0.60 mtrs to 1.20 mtr and depth of silt from 0.30 mtr to 0.90 mtrs

For Drain Widths from 1.20 mtrs to 2.5 mtr and depth from 0.40 mtr to 1 mtrs

Disposal of silt, sludge, building rubbish, earth mixed malba, plastic bags & all type of floating, solid and semi-solid malba/ rubbish received from desilting of drains by mechanical transport including loading, unloading upto DSIIDC approved MCD dumping site / recycled C&D waste plant within a lead of 22 km with all lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Hiring of super-sucker and jetting machine having sufficent capacity for effective depth up to 10mts. i/c 20HP submersibile pump set with electric panel board.62.5 KVA Diesesl generator set and suction hose pipes with all fitting i/c cost of manpower (1 no. qualified Engineer, 2 Nos.SG Beldar, 2 Nos Operator) and cost of Diesel, lubricants, insurance, safety equiment, Mobilization charges etc. all complete as per satisfaction of Engineer-in charge.

Providing Diesel pump set of capacity 10 HP with pump operator i/c necessary delivery and suction pipes for removal of water logging from different locations as and when required complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (pump shall be kept at desired location as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.)

Providing and fixing in position pre-cast R.C.C. manhole cover and frame of required shape and approved quality Circular shape 560 mm internal dia

Providing and placing in position 100 mm thick factory made machine batched & machine mixed Precast RCC Rectangular Covers on drains of footpath of various sizes, of M-25 grade cement concrete for RCC work, including cost of centering, shuttering, reinforcement of 8 mm dia TMT bars of Fe 500 grade @ maximum 100mm c/c on both ways , neat cement punning on finished surface, properlyn encased on all edges with 1.6 mm thick , 100 mm wide MS sheetm duly painted over priming coat , reinforcement to be welded at edges with MS sheet and providing 2 Nos. 12 mm dia bar for hooks etc i/c cost of cartage, all leads & lift, handling at site etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.
