M&L for water proofing treatment by applying oil bound bitumen primer, having a density of 0.87 - 0.89 Kg/lit, @ 0.40 ltrs/Sqm, providing and laying APP modified water proofing membrane weighting not less than 3.50 Kg/Sqm of approved make including minimum 10 cm side lap and 15 cm end lap, laid and pasted with blue flame torching applications and finally finishing with two coats of solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.1.Kg/Sqm all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying two coats of water proofing coating system of approved make over a coat of respective primer including preparation of new/old plaster surface by complete removal of existing treatment including filling of crack with respective crack filler all as per manufacturers instructions all as directed.

Treatment of sunken floor slab comprises of the following specifications and all as specified and as directed :- (i) M&L for cleaning the sunken/lowered portion of RCC slab surface (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely. 40mm thick avg PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5mm graded aggregate as in padding concrete to achieve proper slope (ii) Rendering of uneven surfaces with 5 mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement consumed. Fill it with water and check dampness and seepage. Where dampness/seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting to be carried out (WPC shall be measured and paid separately) (iii) All junctions points of side wall where CI/GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty. (iv) After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean.

(v) Applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufacturers instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level (+100mm height). The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed. (This item shall be measured and paid separately under Item No.13.) (vi) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @3% weight of cement consumed as per manufacturer's specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout. (WPC shall be measured & paid separately ) Note :- Test the water proofed area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage seepage and to the entire satisfaction of GE. Test shall be done in presence of reps of PMG and record for each sunken slab shall be maintained. The treatment shall be carried out by authorized applicators of chemicals. Cost of testing is included in the rates quoted above. (vii) All pipes laid in sunken portion shall be covered with 50mm thick PCC 1:3:6 all round after painting with anticorrosive paint (Painting shall be measured and paid separately)

M&L for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufacturers instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level +100 mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed.

Supply only Integral Water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC type E2 , 1:5:10 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sunken floor of toilet complete all as specified and as directed.
