Providing and fixing false ceiling from M/s ARMSTRONG CEILING SOLUTIONS OR approved equivalent make at all heights, location/ floors including providing & fixing framework made of special section, for lighting/AC/sprinklers etc. including cost of scaffolding/accessrories required to complete the job all as per drg., specification of approved manufacturers etc and as approved by EIC.

False ceiling with MW GI Lay in open Cell 150 mm cell post coat to Ral 9010 with Suprafine 15 mm, 38mm web height white grid system as per manufacturer's specification for the work.

Providing anf fixing metal framed seamless calcium silicate false ceiling at all heights and locations including framework made of special section, power pressed from M.S. sheets and galvanised with zinc coating of 120 gms/ sqm (both side inclusive) as per IS : 277 and comprises of G.I perimeter channel having 0.45mm thickness, two unequal flanges of 20 and 30mm and web of 27mm is fixed to surrounding walls / partition using nylon sleeves and screws at 450mm centers and the Intermediate Channel (0.45mm thick) having two equal flanges of 15 mm. each and a web of 45mm is suspended from the soffit at 1220 mm center with ceiling angle of width 25mm x 10 mm x 0.45 mm thick, fixed to soffit at 1220mm center with G.I cleat and steel expansion fasteners, Ceiling section of 0.45mm thickness having knurled web of 50.5 mm and flanges of 26mm each with lips of 10.5mm are then fixed to the intermediate channel with connecting clips across to the Intermediate channel at 457mm c/c and calcium silicate boards are then screw fixed across the ceiling sections with 25mm long self-drilling & tapping screws having Philips head with under head cutter, for first and second layer respectively at 200mm c/c., the joints of the face boards are finished with specially formulated jointing compound and 48mm wide fiber tape to provide seamless finish.

With 8 mm thick Calcium Silicate Boards of size 1200 mm x 1800 mm/1200 mm x 2400 mm of approved manufactures made with Calcareous & Siliceous materials reinforced with cellulose fiber manufactured through autoclaving process and making 5mm wide @ 150 mm c/c and 2mm deep groves (Machine profiled) and applying 2 coats of Premium Acrylic Emulsion paint of approved make and colour over one coat of approved primer including applying putty making surface smooth etc all as instructed by EIC.

Providing & fixing in position suspended false ceiling system using 600 x 600 mm Calcium Silicate Ceiling tiles of approved manufactures having 15mm densified edges and 100% humidity resistance, incombustible as per BS476 part IV with thermal conductivity of 0.043 w/m KC and approved surface design and edge profile (Tegular/ Spintone) placed in a suspended grid of size of 600 x 600mm made of hot dipped G.I. steel sections having an exposed surface capping of pre-finished baked polyester painted coil wherein the main tee of size 24mm x 38mm x 0.33mm shall be suspended at1200mm centres along the length of ceiling with 4mm dia G.I wire with necessary level adjusters and cross tees of size 24 x 28 x 0.33mm x 1200mm shall be inserted in to slots between the main tees at 600mm centres and thereafter in direction vertical to the longer tees of size 24 x 28 x 0.33 mm x 600mm shall be inserted to form a grid size of 600 x 600 mm resting on the Periphery walls on wall angles of size 22mm x 22mm x 300mm x 0.40mm thickness etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. Notes for Calcium silicate false ceiling work The rate shall include the cost for the following :- (i) Vertical masking if any shall be measured under the item without any extra cost. (ii) Providing necessary openings for light fixtures, diffusers, trap doors etc. to be made as per layout drawings. (iii)The main tees to be suspended from the ceiling / soffit with the help of metal dash fasteners of 6mm x 50mm soffit cills of 25mm x 35x 1.60mm and 4mm dia G.I wire with galvanised spring steel leveling clips. (iv) The entire grid system shall be designed to bear a distributed load of minimum 15 kg/sqm (v) Only Calcium Silicate False Ceiling area will be measured for the purpose of payment.
