Providing and laying 5mm slurry seal consisting of a mixture of fine aggregates, portland cement filler, bituminous emulsion and water on a road surface including cleaning of surface, mixing of slurry seal in a suitable mobile plant, laying and compacting to provide even riding surface as per clause NO.512 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) 2013 latest edition using aggregate and binder content as per table No.500-29 of MORT&H specification including cost of bitumen.

Providing & Laying 50 mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 Batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate vibratory rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 of MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% bitumen grade VG-30 and processed waste plastic @ 7% of bitumen content as per IRC SP -98 -2013 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. 1. Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Instruction issued from time to time regarding bitumen from MORD will be followed strictly.

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. persqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflector zing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3).

Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and inequalities not exceeding 15cm deep and disposal of rubbish lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m a) soft / loose soil [HSR 6.25 a]

Cement Concrete 1:8:16 with stone aggregate 40mm nominal size in foundation and plinth (HSR 10.28)

Cement concrete 1;2;4 with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size in pavement,roads, taxi-tracks and runways, laid to required slope and camber, including consolidation, finishing and tamping complete (HSR10.132) Note: i) In case of any difference in the unit and nomenclature of any of the HSR items of Civil / PH works depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit & nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. ii) Only reputed make material will be used (make / brand/ exhibited in HSR and exhibited in approved documents) as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, while executing various items / works as site.
