Replacement of damaged 8” dia cast iron check valve and 8” dia cast iron sluice valve of unit no. 6 at pumping station Salmay stage-0 (Old) by way of dismantling the complete check valve unit and sluice valve unit from delivery and suction side by opening / gas cutting of nut, bolts alongwith gas cutting / removal of pipe side flanges. Thereafter cleaning the pipe surface and providing and fitting of new flanges by way of welding and subsequently providing and fitting of 8” dia new cast steel check valve and sluice valve conforming to ISI standard. Inserting the sealing gasket and coupling the flange joints using fasteners, washers and checking the line on full load. Job includes cutting of line and welding of new flanges to adjust the valve. The complete job includes cost of material, labour charges, hire charges of tools and tackles, transportation charges etc. Rebate, if any, should be quoted separately.
