(viii) Maintenance free Storage type Batteries of suitable voltage and Ampere - hours as recommended by the manufacturers.

(ix) Industrial type silencer including MS exhaust pipe lagged with asbestors rope of 5 mm dia all around and over this 50mm thick flat mineral wool insulator sheet cover and then, 24 SWG Aluminium sheet cladding with rivets, all over the length.

(x) Support / fixing arrangement for muffler with ceiling through anti vibration pads.

(xi) Engine overspeed stop / trip switch.

(xii) Radiator with fan.

(xiii) Dynamo for battery charging.

(xiv) Corrosion inhibitor coolant.

(xv) Engine control panel electronic, digital display type consisting of battery voltage indicator, lub oil temp and pressure guages, coolant water temp guage, RPM indicator-cum-hour meter etc.

(xvi) Safety controls for alarm due to high water temp (HWT) and low lub oil pressure (LLOP)

(xvii) Any other devices /accessories recommended / supplied by the manufacturers as standard eqpt.

(c) Skid : The engine and alternator shall be coupled, aligned and mounted on a specially designed common base frame fabricated from MS channels of suitable cross sectional area and length with bottom drilled holes suitable for and including supplying and fixing anti vibration pads. Make : - Anti vibration pads:-Dunlop / Polybond of required size and numbers as recommended by the manufacturers for mounting of 50 KVA DG set.

(d) Alternator control Panel: Floor mounted, vertical, totally enclosed cubicle, out door type, dust and vermin proof, standard industrial pattern, factory fabricated out of 2mm thick CRCA steel sheet duly painted with powder coated paint of approved colour, complete with all mounting structures, insulators, bolts, nuts, washers etc, with necessary control wiring / internal connections with proper size of copper conductor cables, suitable for 3 phase, 4 wire, 50HZ, 440 volts AC system, comprising of required Nos / rating / capacity of MCCBs for Incoming cables (Main / DG) and out going cables, multifunction meter displaying KWH, hours, current, voltage etc, set of LED type indicating lamps "LOAD ON" "SET RUNNING", power contactor suitable for 75 KVA DG set including over current, earth-fault protection realys, high voltage, No voltage, single phasing, relay. (OEM/CPRI Panel). 1 No battery charger, control circuit fuses, reverse power relay, alarm for high water / lub oil temp and low lub oil pressure, push buttons for start / stop, any other control devices / measuring instruments as recommended / supplied by the standard equipment manufacturers, complete with cable glands with gland plate for cable entry, control cabling with copper conductor armoured mult-core cables of required cross sectional area from DG set to control panel, including taking out of manual panel after disconnecting incoming and outgoing cables and reconnecting the same cables in new panel complete all as specified and directed.

(e) Diesel tank of adequate capacity for 12 hours continuous run on full load with caliberated scale (fuel level indicator) dip stick, fuel inlet / outlet, Air vent, drain plug and inlet arrangement for direct filling, including suitable size gun metal gate valve in outlet, tank shall be fitted all as per manufacturer's requirements / specification.

(f) Acoustic enclosure with canopy cover shall be provided as per latest CPCB norms.

(g) PCC platform for instalation of DG set as per specification and design given by the manufacturer.

(h) Documents : Three sets of following documents : - Maintenance and operation manuals for engine and alternator, spare parts catalogue, warranty / test certificates, schematic diagrams of control panels.

(j) Connecting cable in new panel with required accessories etc complete.

(k) Optional items : list of tools and as per manufacturers recommended lists, duly priced, item wise.

Make of DG Set :- Any of the Make listed in Appx 'C' enclosed herewith.

Notes:- (i) Contractors shall satisfactorily conduct load test of each DG set for 12 hours including run on 10% overload for 1 hour.

(ii) Testing eqpt will be arranged by the Contractor under his own arrngement and cost.

(iii) A Common PCC platform / foundation for DG sets shall be provided for above DG sets as per manufacturers instructions. Rate quoted shall be deemed to include for the same.
