| 2.00Inspection of CCW /ASW pump houses during unit 3 BSD Condition Assessment and Inspection of pump bays of CCW/ASW pumps to assess the condition of RC structural elements of CCW / ASW pump bays by carrying out NDT, visual inspection and underwater video graphs and measurements of the distressed portions of the structural elements of CCW / ASW including but not limited to following: • Conducting above ground and underwater inspection to assess the condition of pump bays of Condenser Cooling Water (CCW) Pumps , pump bay of Auxiliary Service Water (ASW) Pumps with the help of professional divers and structural engineers to delve the any distress/spalling/cracks/exposed rebar etc of the RCC structural elements. • To record the findings with the help of high resolution camera. In case below water inspection using of underwater high-resolution cameras. and submitting the observation sheets and underwater video graphs. • Providing suitable methodology for repair/ rehabilitation/ construction and protection of the RC structures including submission of detailed report, drawings, item wise Bill of Quantities and Cost estimation and tender document. • Identifying potential bidders / contractors to carry out the work. Supporting NPCIL in tendering and invitation of bids in all respect including ensuring participation of bidder and competitive bidding. Carrying all above as per technical specification and per direction of engineer - in - charge. Note: 1. All the necessary safety arrangements are in scope of contractor . 2. The work front will be provided in intermittent manner i.e. during unit Shut Down for inspection . Contractor / Consultant will be informed 05 days prior to availability of system and will have to perform intended inspection and testing works during limited time frame of shutdown 3. All the works for Condition Assessment and Inspection shall be carried out by a qualified expert consultant having past experience of carrying works of condition assesment and structural repair consultancy , complete as per technical specification 4.
