Repairing of Ramp Girder assembly of Bridge Floating Heavy. Each girder have 2 way locking clip pin assembly. Repair to be done :- Each assembly is dismantle with the help special tools, fixtures and pullers, after then the Aluminium Girder is cleaned, polish, acid wash, chemical cleaned with complete girder aluminium paint & the new locking clip assembly is replaced & reassembled with oiling & greasing to make the pins work free in the sleeve alongwith the MS bracket. The under mentioned items to be replaced in each Ramp girder. (i) Centre holding clip - 02 Nos (ii) Centre slot sleeve - 02 Nos (iii) Side pins - 04 Nos (iv) Centre holding key pin - 04 Nos (v) Centre dowel pin - 04 Nos (vi) Cut spring dowel pin - 04 Nos (vii) Washers - 12 Nos (viii) Quarter pin - 04 Nos (ix) 19mm shaft - 01 Nos (x) Tapper nut bolts - 04 Nos (xi) Tapper locking plate - 02 Nos (xii) Complete Aluminium welding to be done where it is necessary. Above replaced material is fabricated with special dies with the help of Hydraulic power press machines, special forging, and machining on precision lathe machine. Material grade used is high tempered steel.
