Repairs to Steel Structure and allied repairs at basement of Main Work Shop B. No. 5 at MPF Ambernath

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster any description & in any position or height with all safety precautions, thorough cleaning of site & removal of all the rubbish outside Factory Premises etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge.

Dismantiling carefully concrete of any description and in any position or height including reinforcement cut if required with all safety precautions, thorough cleaning of site & removal of all the rubbish outside Factory Premises etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge.

M & L for thorough cleaning of old Painted steel surfaces including complete removal of all the rust, preparing surface to receive the additional MS plate reinforcement and Acid Resistant Paint etc., at any height or position with all safety precautions, thorough cleaning of site & removal of all the rubbish outside Factory Premises etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge.

S & F GI wire netting 0.9 mm dia and 12 mm mesh lathing in ceiling, columns, beams etc including all laps, cutting & wastes, all scaffolding arrangements, screws & washers for fixing the netting on ceiling or any other surface etc all complete as directed by the Engg In Charge.

M & L for application of passivating coat over exposed steel reinforcement including following procedure: (i) Surface preparation: Surface of reinforcement shall be cleaned by wire brushing, all loose scales, dirt etc shall be removed. (ii) Application of passivating coat: Mix. OPC with the Acrylic Polymer Modifier (Make: Roff Supercrete / Dr. Fixit Pidicrete WP / Sunanda Speciality Coatings Pvt Ltd) in a ratio of 1:2(i.e.1 Kg of chemical mixed with 2 Kg of OPC), The OPC & chemical shall be thoroughly mixed to form uniform slurry & to be applied with paint brush in two coats. The Contractor shall arrange for safe working scaffolding, ladders etc at his own risk& cost etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge.

M & L for application of bonding coat between concrete & mortar for repairs including following procedure: (i) Mix OPC 1.75 Kg with 1.75 Kg of sand & 1 Litre of Acrylic Polymer Modifier (Make: Roff Supercrete / Dr. Fixit Pidicrete WP / Sunanda Speciality Coatings Pvt. Ltd.) (ii) The surface shall be properly hacked for receiving of bond coat to the entire satisfaction of the Engg. in Charge. (iii) The mixed mortar / slurry shall be applied to all ceiling surface by brush. (iv) The plaster coat shall be started when the bond coat is still tacky. (v) The plastering coat shall be completed within 45 minutes of application of bond coat. (vi) The Contractor shall follow all safety procedures, safe scaffoldings. (vii) The Contractor shall show the bond coat applied surface to SIC / EIC for verification. The entry in this regard shall be endorsed in the Works Diary by the SIC / EIC. etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge.

M & L for Grouting Avg 40 mm thick under stanchion bases or grillages, etc. including any temporary shuttering to edges with cement mortar 1:2 etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: The Bidder may assess the required thickness of grouting by visiting the site before quoting the Tender. No claim for additional required thickness shall be accepted by MTPF authorities. Note: (i) Contractor shall use only clean river sand for preparation of cement mortar in proportion 1:2 i.e. one part of cement mixed with 2 parts of clean river sand. (ii) The mixing of material shall be done in front of authorized factory representative. (ii) The cement to be used shall not be more than one month old. (iii) Any one of the make of cement shall be used through out the work from M/s Ambuja , M/s Ultratech, M/s Birla, M/s ACC

M & L for rendering average 10 mm thick cement plaster in ceiling or any other position as directed on brickwork or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:3 with neeru finishing (the plaster surface shall be finished even & smooth where directed without any extra charges) including use of safe scaffolding for the work, complete cleaning of site, curing for not less than 14 days, removal of all rubbish outside factory premises etc all complete as directed by Engg in Charge. Note: (i) Contractor shall use dust free aggregates for preparation of cement mortar in proportion 1:3 i.e. one part of cement mixed with 3 parts of dust free aggregates of proper gradation. (ii) The mixing of material shall be done in front of authorized factory representative. (ii) The cement to be used shall not be more than one month old. (iii) Any one of the make of cement shall be used through out the work from M/s Ambuja , M/s Ultratech, M/s Birla, M/s ACC

M & L for cement concrete Type B0 1:2:4, (12.5 mm graded aggregate) including use of form work where required, curing for not less than 28 days, complete cleaning of site & removal of all rubbish outside factory premises etc all complete as directed by Engg in Charge. Note: (i) Contractor shall use dust free aggregates of proper gradation for concrete mix. (ii) Contractor shall use cement not more than one month old. (iii) Contractor shall ensure proper slope for effective drainage of water from the floor. (iv) Any one of the make of cement shall be used through out the work from M/s Ambuja , M/s Ultratech, M/s Birla, M/s ACC

M & L for rendering average 25 mm thick cement plaster in walls or any other position as directed on brickwork or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 with neeru finishing (the plaster surface shall be finished even & smooth where directed without any extra charges) including use of safe scaffolding for the work, complete cleaning of site, curing for not less than 14 days, removal of all rubbish outside factory premises etc all complete as directed by Engg in Charge. Note: (i) Contractor shall use dust free aggregates for preparation of cement mortar in proportion 1:4 i.e. one part of cement mixed with 4 parts of dust free aggregates of proper gradation. (ii) The mixing of material shall be done in front of authorized factory representative. (ii) The cement to be used shall not be more than one month old. (iii) Any one of the make of cement shall be used through out the work from M/s Ambuja , M/s Ultratech, M/s Birla, M/s ACC

S & F plates Plain or chequered channels, square cut or notched ordinary & counter sunk, forming holes, with riveted, welded or bolted attachment including rolled sections / joists any size and of required cross section as required for supports, or fixed independantly as ordered with welded joints as per Instructions of Engg In Charge which shall be measured and paid for as per weight of respective rolled section / joists in this item only etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: The measurement for the portion to be embeded in masonry works shall be supported by a photograph of the work at respective location.

M & L for painting Surfaces of any description wood, steel, iron, concrete, brick, stone, etc., exceeding 10cm in width or girth with Acid Resistant Paint in Two Coats over Acid resistant primer applied surface etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: i. Sample of Acid Resistant Primer & Paint shall be got approved from the EIC with provision of necessary literature about the product from reputed manufacturer. ii. The coat of primer shall be got verified from SIC & EIC, before applying 1st coat of paint. Similarly the 1st coat of paint shall be shown to SIC & EIC before applying 2nd coat of paint & entry to that effect shall be made in the Works Diary. iii. The final inspection of the work shall be carried out by the EIC and any defective portion as indicated by EIC shall be rectified by the Contractor at his own risk & cost to the entire satisfaction of the EIC.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc. with complete site clearance & removal of all rubbish outside Factory premises etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge.

M & L for Brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in Cement Mortar 1:3 etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: (i) Contractor shall use dust free aggregates for preparation of cement mortar in proportion 1:3 i.e. one part of cement mixed with three parts of dust free aggregates of proper gradation. (ii) The mixing of material shall be done in front of authorized factory representative. (ii) The cement to be used shall not be more than one month old. (iii) Any one of the make of cement shall be used through out the work from M/s Ambuja , M/s Ultratech, M/s Birla, M/s ACC

M & L for TMT steel bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge.

Labour work for Clearance of site prior to start of the work including removing of all sort of stacked materials with necessary safety precautions, use of tools & tackles, lighting arrangement for illumination of the area before removal of stacked material, dismantling, cutting of material where indicated, stacking the removed material neatly at respective store location as indicated by the Factory authority anywhere inside Factory Area , complete clearance of site in all respect to the entire satisfaction of the SIC & EIC etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: i. The Contrator shall visit the site for analysing the quantum of work before quoting. No adjustment in the rate quoted shall be made during billing of work at any stage. ii. Electricity connection only shall be provided from Factory side. Necesssary arrangement for illumination of the area including wiring etc shall be made by the Contractor for safe working conditiions as desired by the Engg in Charge. iii. All the material shall be stacked neatly by the Contractor at earmarked location including neat transport & necessary cleaning.

M & L for complete removal of existing treatment from wall & ceiling surfaces, priming plastered & other surfaces with alkali resistant priming paint and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion including all safety precautions, complete cleaning of site & removal of all rubbish outside Factory premises etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: 1. Sample of all materials shall be got approved from EIC before starting the work. 2. Each stage of work including preparation of surface, priming of surface, each coat of distemper shall be shown to SIC & EIC & entry for the same shall be made in the Works Diary.

Supply & Fixing Sheet Metal Enclosure Single Pole & Neutral 4 Way Single Door Make:Siemens/L&T/Legrand etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: Sample to be approved from the EIC before fixing.

Supply & Fixing of Modular switches 1 way, 6A Make:Anchor/ Roma/GM/Cona/Legrand etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: Sample to be approved from the EIC before fixing.

Supply & Fixing Modular Switch 1Way , 16A Make:Anchor/ Roma/ GM/ Cona/ Legrand etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: Sample to be approved from the EIC before fixing.

Supply & Fixing of Ceiling Rose (Bulb Holder) PVC Polycarbonate isolated body Make:Anchor/ Roma/GM/ Cona/ Legrand etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: Sample to be approved from the EIC before fixing.

S & F Wiring for Circuit / Submain wiring along with earth wire with 2 x 4.0 sq.mm + 1 x 2.5 Sq.mm earth wire of FR PVC insulated copper conductor (Make:Finolex / Polycab / Havells ) in PVC Conduit Make: Precision / Pressfit etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: Sample to be approved from the EIC before fixing.

S & F One Light Point or one Fan point controlled by one switch with cables 1.5 Sq.mm Size in PVC Conduit Make:Finolex/ Polycab etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: Sample to be approved from the EIC before fixing.

S & F One additional Light Point or one additional Fan point controlled by one excisting light point with cables 1.5 Sq.mm Size in PVC Conduit Make:Finolex/ Polycab etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: Sample to be approved from the EIC before fixing.

Supply and Fixing of MODULAR METAL/PVC FLUSH BOX 6 Module, Make: Havells/ Anchor/ Legrand/ Cona etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: Sample to be approved from the EIC before fixing.

Supply and Fixing of MODULAR WHITE COVER PLATE WITH FRAME 6 Module, Make: Havells/ Anchor/ Legrand/ Cona etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: Sample to be approved from the EIC before fixing.

Supply and fixing amp rating 240V, 10KA 'C' curve miniature circuit breaker (MCB) of SPN poles and current carrying capacity 32 Amp in the MCB, Make: ABB / L&T/ C&S / Anchor, DB complete with connection testing and commissioning etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Supply and fixing 240V, 10 KA 'B' curve miniature circuit breaker (MCB) of single poles and current carrying capacity 5 to 32 AMP, Make: ABB / L&T/ C&S / Anchor, in the MCB DB Complete with connection testing and commissioning etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge. Note: Sample to be approved from the EIC before fixing.

Dismantling and taking down fluorescent tube light single/double of any wattage or size street light fittings for replacement of burnt/ worn out accessories repair or carrying to store etc all complete as directed by the Engg in Charge
