Dismantling boarding, any description, fixed in any position with nails, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and installation of wooden sports flooring conforming to following specifications and conditions complete all as specified and directed. Make: Junckers Maple Wooden flooring or any other make as approved.

Technical Specification: (a) Hard Maple Wood Flooring: Hard maple wood flooring comprising of individual maple wood boards of 22 mm thickness, minimum width 129 mm and of random length 1830 mm, jointed together with the help of tongue and groove on all four sides of all board. (b) Substructure: Flooring substructure comprising of sleeper of spruce or pine having 63mm width and cross section of 38 mm and laid perpendicular to the main flooring, placed at a spacing of 411 mm centre to centre, including 19mm thick rubber pads at 411 mm centre to centre spacing and polyethylene membrane installed over the concrete base beneath the flooring system as a vapour barrier between the concrete and wooden floor. (c) Vapour Barrier: Vapour barrier between the concrete and wooden floor comprising of 0.20 mm thick polyethylene membrane installed over the concrete base beneath the flooring system. (d) Game line marking in accordance with manufacturers’ specification and as directed. (e) The flooring shall be of make approved by FIBA (Federation International Basketball Association), BWF (Badminton World Federation) and WSF (World Squash Federation)

Note for Item No 2: (i) The work shall be carried out through an external specialist agency having suitable experience in carrying out similar works. (ii) Contractor shall submit necesary guarantee/ warranty certificate to the Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for providing fair cuttings (straight or circular) to facings of squared stone/ concrete floor surfaces, of any description, 10crm in depth as for skew backs or over and under arches, by using cutter machine etc complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing damp proof course using polythene film, black, 50 micron laid in floors complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing 100 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub-floors, sub-bases, floors etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing post construction anti-termite treatment of soil under existing floors using emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300mm apart including drilling and plugging 12mm dia holes with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing post construction anti-termite treatment of voids in masonry using chemical emulsion one litre per hole, at 300mm intervals including drilling holes at 45 degree and replugging them with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing post construction anti-termite treatment along the external wall below concrete or masonry apron using chemical emulsion @ 2.25 litres per linear metre including drilling and plugging holes etc. in apron complete all as specified and directed.
