RCC FOUNDATIONS FOR DG SET Providing RCC foundation of M20 grade (1 Cement:1.5 Stone aggregate: 3 Coarse sand) i/c excavation, steel reinforcement (Fe 500) @ 50 kg/cum of concrete contents, concrete cover 50mm, over a bed of 75mm thick PCC 1:5:10, of required dimensions as per OEM recommendations as per following specifications for 250 KVA DG set to provide levelled surface for placement of the DG set complete in all respects and as per directions of Engineer-in charge. Note: As size and dynamic load of DG sets vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, item of DG set foundation have been included on the basis of cubic contents of RCC. Providing, installing, Testing and commissioning of CPCB-IV latest version 'Silent Type' Diesel generating set having prime power rating of minimum 380 KVA, 415 volts, 50 Hz at 1500 RPM, 0.8 lagging power factor, 3 phase system & for 0.85 load factor with standard control panel and copper control cable of length upto 15 meter from DG to AMF panel and consisting of the followings :

Diesel Engine: Diesel engine 4 stroke water cooled, electric start, of sutiable BHP at 1500 RPM suitable for above output of alternator at 40 Degree C, 50% RH & at 1000 meter MSL and conforming to BS 5514, BS 649, IS 10000, capable of taking 10% over loading for one hour after 12 hours of continuous operation. The engine will be fitted complete with all the required accessories. other specifications as per DNIT in PDF. Fabrication, Supplying and installation of MS supporting structure made of suitable size MS channels and MS angles for supporting the exhuast piping of the DG set including shuttering/ scaffolding, drilling civil works, complete with making necessary RCC foundation including painting with zinc chromite primer and aluminum/ synthetic enamel paint etc as required.

Design, fabrication, assembling, wiring, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of following D.G. synchronization panel fabricated out of 14 guage CRCA sheet steel in cubical formationwith reinforecment of suitable size angle iron and channel T iron flats. All steel material used in the construction of panels shall undergo seven tank process before painting as per standards with 2 coats of red oxide primer and final approved shade of enamel paint. A solid busbar shall be provided at the bottom of the panel with two connecting eyes for termination. The boards shall be suitable for 415 volts, 50 Hz, 3 phase , 4 wire supply system. All the hardware used in the fabrication of the panel shall be galvanized with zinc passivation. The panel shall be compartmentalized to accommodate one feeder in each compartment. A vertcal cable alley of suitable width shall be provided to serve on or two vertical feeder sections.All starters, switchgears shall be as per type-2 coordination chart. of following. Using two D.G. sets first one is 625 KVA and the second one is 380 KVA. Both are synchronized with each other when the load of the first D.G. (625 KVA) reached 80% the second D.G. will start automatically and it will stop when the load drops back below 80% other specifications as per DNIT in PDF.

Supply & installation of MS shade of dimensions 15 (L) x 12 (W) x 12 (H) feet to be covered by 2 mm thick metero sheet (Approx. area to be covered 220 sq. feet) including 5 mm MS parking jali having approximate area of 700 sq.ft. Metro sheet to be supported by MS pipe of dimension (50x75x3 mm) having approximate length of 240 feet and MS angle of size 60x 6 mm) having approximate length of 200 feet complete upto the entire satisfaction of the Engineer - in - Charge as per specification.
