Detailed Scope of Work Painting & Civil Works Execution – Admin Building, Piyala LPG Plant 1. General This scope of work covers painting and civil repair works for the Admin Building at Piyala LPG Plant, including surface preparation, repairs, finishing, quality assurance, safety compliance, and completion activities. All works shall be executed in accordance with BPCL safety guidelines, and site instructions issued by the Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall arrange all materials, labour, tools, tackles, scaffolding, safety gear, consumables, and transportation required for the successful completion of the job. 2. Scope of Painting Works Approximate Area: 2780 Sq. Mtr. (Including scaffolding) 2.1 Areas Covered External walls of the Admin Building. Parapets, sunshades, and projections. Any other surface identified by the Engineer-in-Charge during execution. 2.2 Surface Preparation Scraping/removal of old, flaking, peeling, or damaged paint layers. Removal of algae, fungus, moss, oil stains, dust, and loose particles using wire brushing, washing, or approved chemical treatment. Repair of surface cracks, pinholes, honeycombs, undulations, and damaged plaster using approved fillers, putty, or polymer-modified mortar. Sanding of surfaces to achieve uniform smooth finish.
