Reconnaissance survey of the line on the field to ensure that forest area, village area, thick tree plantation, submergence area, airport, NA plot / lands etc. visible on site are avoided. Also, to ensure that the proposed route of the line should be shortest in length and approachable for construction / maintenance of transmission line. Submitting the route map having scale 1: 50,000 on topographical sheet complete.

Carrying out the alignment as per approved route map by using “Total station” fixing of wooden pegs 30X30X150 mm size at least five nos per km along straight-line alignment and five nos per angle point to ensure correct angle of deviation including concreting of pegs etc. complete.

Taking “L” section of the final approved alignment @ 20 mtr interval on plain ground and taking levels and chainages on minimum 20mtr either side of the centre line including details such as bund, nalla, hill slope, TP lines. EHV lines, Railways, utility lines, etc. Confirming of its position and sectional levels on hilly ground slope to get profile of ground below conductor etc. complete.

Preparation of “Plan and Profile Drawings” on standard scale metric graph with scale Horizontal 1 cm = 20 mtrs and vertical 1 cm = 2 mtr showing details such as bunds, nalla, river, HT/LT lines, TP lines, roads, canals, railway lines, superimposing under utilities in plan as well as in elevation also dividing sections (i.e. profile starts from “0” chainage from one angle point to final chainage to next angle point).

Carrying out tower spotting based on the tower spotting data given by the purchaser. Preparation of plastic template and marking the conductor and ground curve on the profile drawings, marking all relevant clearances on the profile drawing, Preparation of summary sheet including line schedule, notes, etc as directed by the purchaser. Submission of original profiles which shall include all above data. One Tracing of profiles and 02 prints to be submitted along with three sets profiles in soft form.

Mobilisation and Demobilisation

Plot contour survey ( 5 x 5 m) for proposed s/s at Saligao and earthwork computations at given proposed formation level, along with one set of hard and soft copy.
