Special Repairs to cross masonry structures from L.S 6.350 Km to 6.500 Km of Pudhupalayam Branch Canal in Udumalapet Taluk of Tirupur District.

Dismantling the existing dilapilated plain cement concrete under 3 metre height inside the canal and clearing away carefully stacking of materials useful for reuse for any thickness of walls within initial lead of 10m and initial lift of 2m etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.

Plain Cement Concrete of grade M 15 with well graded aggregates and the maximum nominal size of coarse aggregate of 20mm down grade to IS specified grading and mixing by mixer machine (to produce concrete of the specified characteristic strength of 15N/mm2 at 28 days) including dewatering by bailing/ pumping wherever necessary laying the concrete in layers and in bays with all leads and lifts, vibrating compacting, and finishing the surface watering curing, for various depth and height below and above ground level so as to attain the profile and strength specified in the drawings etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Gravel Backing using gravelly soil obtained from borrow pits with a lead of 2KMCT+4KMMR and filling inner slope of canal, watering, breaking clods, consolidating, sectioning and trimming to the proper grade slope of the canal and compacting etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.

Removing and refixing the disturbed PCC slabs of size 60cmx45cmx5cm and making the surface suitable to receive the cement mortar bedding of 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:5 (One Cement and Five M-Sand) directly on the sub grade duly dressed and compacted allowing 24 hours for water curing of this bed layer and then laying PCC slabs with 6mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three P-Sand) with backing, brushing, wetting and fixing the precast C.C slab in position inside of the canal with templates by laying the slabs in position with cement mortar 1:2 (One Cement and Two M-Sand) with water proofing compound by 2% weight of cement used to full thickness of slab with same mortar curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Earthwork excavation in Hard red earth, Hard gravelly/semi pervious soil obtained from borrow area of nearby villages with a lead 2KMCT+4KMCT including conveyance and filling the overcuts, erroded canal banks etc., with gravelly/semi pervious soil compactable with sub grade materials in layers of 15 cm thick and thorougly compacted to 10cm with suitable compactors/pnuematic hamers as per technical spercifications including unloading and stacking at work site for premeasurement etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.
