ADDITION/ ALTERATION AND SPECIAL REPAIRS TO HANGARS WITH ALLIED BUILDINGS AT DAMAN

Nozzle Fixing: M & L for drilling 12 - 16 mm dia holes, at specified spacing, at locations with honeycombing/ voids/ construction joints/ cracks etc., placing 8 - 12 mm dia nozzle of 75 mm length suitable for grouting into a 150 mm deep hole using polymer mortar including cutting of nozzle after grouting and finishing with polymer mortar etc. complete all as specified and directed. Notes: 1. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of: a. Identifying and marking carefully the damaged reinforced concrete by tapping with light hammer and chipping the same with chisel after demarking at upto 15m height. b. Providing and fixing scaffolding system as suitable on the exterior side of building/structure, upto required height of 15m, above ground level. The scaffolding system shall be suitablly stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. 2. Grouting material shall be measured and paid under appropriate items of this schedule.

Injection Grouting: M & L for providing and applying grout made of cement slurry mixed with non-shrink additive like MasterFlow 150 of BASF / Cebex 100 of Fosroc / Intraplast Ep of Sika or equivalent by injection grouting under pressure through nozzles provided, into cracks/ honeycombed areas by using suitable grouting pump till refusal including all tools and tackles, transportation, supervision etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning rusted reinforcement bars by tapping or using mechanical wire brush or any other suitable way including from all around the reinforcement bars to give it a totally rust free finished steel surface complete all as specified and directed. Note: Mode of measurement - Flat surface area of exposed reinforcement.

M & L for supplying and providing one component, polymer modifed, cementitious anti-corrosive primer, formulated to provide dual protection of a polymeric barrier and an integral corrosion-inhibiting system, to the existing steel and additional steel provided before patching of damaged areas, using suitable tools and equipment, all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. Make: BASF MasterEmaco P130 / Fosroc Nitoprime Zincrich / Sika Rustoff 100 or other equivalent. Note: Mode of measurement - Flat surface area of exposed reinforcement.

M & L for repairing damaged concrete portion with single component, fibre reinforced, dual shrinkage-compensated, thixotropic, cementitious patch repair mortar, applying 25mm thick mortar in single layer initially by hand and finishing with trowel, carefully compacting the mortar around the rebars and finishing to bring it in line with existing concrete surface with an average thickness of 25mm using suitable tools and equipment, all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. Make: MasterEmaco S348 of BASF / Renderoc HB-60 of Fosroc / Sikadur 41 of Sika or equivalent.

M & L for repairing damaged concrete portion with single component, fibre reinforced, dual shrinkage-compensated, thixotropic, cementitious patch repair mortar, applying total 50 mm thick mortar in two layers, initially by hand and finishing with trowel, carefully compacting the mortar around the rebars and finishing to bring it in line with existing concrete surface with an average thickness of 50mm using suitable tools and equipment, all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. Make: MasterEmaco S348 of BASF / Renderoc HB-60 of Fosroc / Sikadur 41 of Sika or equivalent.

M & L for providing mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips as steel reinforcement for RCC work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position arid binding above plinth level complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for repairing damaged concrete portion with single component, fibre reinforced, dual shrinkage-compensated, thixotropic, cementitious patch repair mortar, applying in thickness more than 50 mm upto 60mm, in two or more layers, initially by hand and finishing with trowel, carefully compacting the mortar around the rebars and finishing to bring it in line with existing concrete surface with an average thickness morethan 50mm, upto 60mm using suitable tools and equipment, all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.
