Material and labour for preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with using air blower to remove all loose dirt etc., complete and applying evenly a coat of cold Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) by using mechanical sprayer, spraying of total cold liquid PME 1.00 Ltr per Sqm (undiluted) for two coats with mineral filler as recommended by manufacturer of PME (after diluting with water), each coat diluted in the ratio 1:1 (PME : Water) and ensure uniform finish on applied area. Complete all as per manufacturer instructions and all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make :- Polymeric Modified Emulsion ( PME) Brand Name : EMULCOTE of M/s L N Petro Chem Pvt Ltd / HINMAT PLUS ( Polymer Modified Emulsion) of Hindustan Colas Pvt ltd. NOTES: The tender shall take into consideration the following points while quoting his rate for this item :- (a) The work shall be got carried out from the manufacturer or his authorised applicator only. (b) Care shall be taken to fill wider gaps/cracks with 0.60 mm to 2.36 mm size coarse sand as per manufacturer's instructions. (c) A Performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of the work as specified. (d) Contractor shall carryout friction test using CFME ( Continuous Friction Measuring Equipment ). The test is to be got done from Government Engineering College/Bangalore University. Nothing extra shall be payable on this account, the quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive for carrying out this test also. The test using CFME will be conducted on the surface of application of PME before and after application of PME and certificate towards this will be submitted for the same.
Material and labour for one coat of painting lines, dashes, arrows , letters, etc on bituminous / concrete surfaces exceeding 10cm width with approved water base paint of color white , Golden yellow, deep orange , PO red and black as per the requirementin the Air field including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Make : APCOTRAK of Asian paints. Coverage area of paint shall be 6 Sqm / Ltr adding 10-15% of potable water (Dispersals and taxitracks)
