Renovation of Fertiliser Godown at Agro Service Centre, Mysuru, Karnataka.

Clearing of jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brushwood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level and removal of rubbish for all leads and lifts outside the periphery of the area cleared, but within the premises of FACT.

Felling trees of girth greater than 30cm but less than 120cm (measured at a height of 1m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots, and stacking of serviceable material and non-serviceable materials at respective locations pointed out by Engineer in-charge, for all leads and lifts.

Dismantling existing roofing sheets, ridges, hips, valleys and gutters from truss, including removal of bolts, lowering the sheets to the ground carefully, stacking the reusable material and disposal of debris within the premises of FACT for all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in-charge. (See specifications on measurement of item for payment)

Dismantling steel work in single or built-up sections in angles, tees, flats, plates, beams and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. from all heights including dismembering and stacking within premises of FACT as per directions of Engineering in-charge. The rate includes necessary scaffolding and supporting arrangement for safe dismembering of steel members while the remaining steel part is to be kept functioning. Contractor shall make necessary arrangements including transportation if any for weighing the materials.

Dismantling frames and shutters of wooden or steel doors, windows and ventilators including chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking within the premises of FACT for all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer incharge. (Measured for masonry opening size)

Chipping existing plaster of all thickness from masonry wall or concrete elements to expose masonry or concrete face, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing the surface for replastering and disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete, as per direction of Engineer in-Charge.

Demolishing brick work (solid cement blocks or any type of clay bricks in cement/lime mortar) manually or by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within the premises of FACT for all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in-charge.

Demolishing stone rubble masonry (dry rubble or random rubble in cement / lime mortar) manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within the premises of FACT for all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in-charge.

Demolishing RCC work manually / by mechanical means without separating reinforcement steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within the premises of FACT for all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in-charge

Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil including hard laterite not requiring blasting by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, keeping the sides from collapsing and bailing out water to keep the trenches dry for concreting, for lift up to 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil, back filling after construction of foundation in layers of 300mm and compacting each layer and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, for all leads within the premises as directed by Engineer in-charge. Item measured on excavation with 30cm additional width on each side of bottom most excavation for all depths.

Supplying good earth (sample pre-approved by engineer incharge) at site for all leads and lifts, including all royalties, carriages and all fees.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, for all leads within the premises and lifts up to 1.5m. including the cost of all machinery and labour required for the same

Providing and laying in position, LDPE sheet of thickness not less than 8 Mil (0.2mm) for use under concrete footings, beam or slabs, placed over shuttering sheet or over compacted earth.

Providing and laying in position volume batched and machine mixed cement concrete of nominal mix 1:3:6 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand (Zone II or Zone III): 6 20mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones) for cement concrete work, including all charges for mixing concrete, transporting, laying, compacting, finishing to level and slope, curing (with water and gunny bags as required or with approved curing compounds), etc. complete at all levels as per standard specifications including the cost of necessary shuttering as per the drawings / instructions of the Engineer in-charge. - for all works up to plinth level

Providing and laying in position volume batched and machine mixed cement concrete of nominal mix 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand (Zone II or Zone III): 4 20mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones) for cement concrete work, including all charges for mixing concrete, transporting, laying, compacting, finishing to level and slope, curing (with water and gunny bags as required or with approved curing compounds), etc. complete at all levels as per standard specifications including the cost of necessary shuttering as per the drawings / instructions of the Engineer in-charge. - for all works up to plinth level

Providing and laying in position volume batched and machine mixed cement concrete of nominal mix 1:1.5:3 (1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand (Zone II or Zone III): 3 20mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones) for cement concrete work, including all charges for mixing concrete, transporting, laying, compacting, finishing to level and slope, curing (with water and gunny bags as required or with approved curing compounds), etc. complete at all levels as per standard specifications including the cost of necessary shuttering as per the drawings / instructions of the Engineer in-charge. - for works at all levels

Supplying, fabricating, conveying, and fixing reinforcement in position in RCC works at all levels with Thermo-mechanically treated (TMT), high yield strength deformed bars of Fe500D / Fe550D grade conforming to IS 1786 including all charges for uncoiling and straightening rods, cutting rods to required lengths, bending cold and placing in position by tying with 14gauge black annealed MS wires and placing cover block

Providing and laying in position as per drawings and instructions of Engineer in-charge, factory made, properly cured pre-cast cement concrete solid blocks of required wall thickness, having a compressive strength not less than 5N/mm2 from approved manufacturer for all brick works below plinth level, using cement mortar 1:6 (mortar thickness 8-12mm) in proper line and levels and curing the work with water.

Providing and laying in position as per drawings and instructions of Engineer in-charge, factory made, properly cured pre-cast cement concrete solid blocks of required wall thickness, having a compressive strength not less than 5N/mm2 from approved manufacturer for all heights above the finished ground level, using cement mortar 1:6 (mortar thickness 8-12mm) in proper line and levels and curing the work with water. The charges also include the necessary scaffolding leaving holes between the brickwork for air circulation or exhaust, and adjustments for positioning door and window/ventilator frames.

Random rubble masonry with hard stone available at site in foundation and for works up to plinth with cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) using stones already available at site including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand: 12 stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) wherever required and pointing the joints with CM 1:6

Supply of stone rubble to be used for random rubble masonry

Structural steel work in single or built-up sections of grade E250 conforming to IS 2062 (channels, angles, beams, joists, plates and rods), including supplying, cutting, drilling holes as required, hoisting, fixing in position to lines and levels at all heights after cleaning thoroughly with power tools and painting as per painting specifications given elsewhere including welding and/or bolting with special shaped washers etc. including cost of skilled/unskilled manpower, tools, materials, machinery, scaffolding etc. complete (painting charges paid separately in another item)

Structural steel work in single or built-up sections of grade YST 210/240/310/330 conforming to IS 1161 / IS 4923 (CHS, RHS, and SHS), including supplying, cutting, drilling holes as required, hoisting, fixing in position to lines and levels at all heights after cleaning thoroughly with power tools and painting as per painting specifications given elsewhere including welding and/or bolting with special shaped washers etc. including cost of skilled/unskilled manpower, tools, materials, machinery, scaffolding etc. complete (painting charges paid separately in another item)

Providing and fixing pre-coated galvanised iron profile sheets, ridges, flashings, gutters (colour, size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester topcoat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length up to 12 meter or as desired by Engineer in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self-drilling /self-tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete up to any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, including cutting to size and shape wherever required and fixing at all heights including the cost of necessary scaffolding.

Supplying and fixing ‘clear’ Polycarbonate sheet of thickness not less than 1.2mm and width not less than 1000mm, having a transparency not less than 85%, and profile matching with the existing asbestos / polypropylene/ galvanized sheets fixed to purlins with 8mmm dia. G.I. plain and bitumen washers or with self-drilling fastener and EPDM washers etc. complete including cutting sheets to size and shape wherever required. The pitch and height shall be suitable for overlapping with the roofing sheets being laid, so that the overlap shall be watertight and secure.

Providing post-construction anti-termite treatment, along the external masonry wall using Imidachloprid 30.5% suspension concentrate (BAYER premise or equivalent) conforming to IS 6313, including drilling holes at 30cm apart at bottom of walls and plugging holes with chalk and white cement after injecting chemicals etc. and spraying the wooden doors and windows with ant-termite solution.

Plastering with cement mortar 1:4, 12mm - 15mm thick, one coat floated hard and trowelled smooth to get an even levelled surface without defects at required levels, slope and verticality, at all heights including the cost of necessary scaffolding

Providing a neat flushing coat (cement punning) over existing plastered surface with added water proofing compounds as approved by Engineer in-charge

Applying one coat of exterior grade water thinnable cement primer of approved brand on plastered surfaces, applied as per manufacturers application specifications.

Finishing walls / roofs with smooth weatherproof quality acrylic exterior emulsion paint of required shade for new work with two or more coats applied with coverage as per manufacturers specifications over cement primer / paint / putty already applied (ASIAN APEX ULTIMA / BERGER WEATHERCOAT LONGLIFE) after cleaning the surface properly as required for application of paint.

Painting over new steel structures after cleaning the surface properly with One coat (40 – 60µm) of Epoxy Zinc Phosphate primer of Whitish Grey color, Matt finish to be applied over the cleaned surface, followed by two coats of (70 – 110µm) Micaceous Iron Oxide epoxy paint, Brown color, Matt finish followed by one coat of (40 – 50µm) Two pack poly amide cured high build epoxy finish paint, white color, semi glossy finish, applied as per manufacturers specification, including cost of all scaffolding and labour at all heights.

Painting over existing steel structures after cleaning the surface properly with two coats of ASIAN PAINTS RUSTOCAP (70 – 80µm) Product code 7040 or equivalent with a coverage of 7.5sqm per litre first coat dark grey and second coat light grey colour applied as per manufacturers specification, including cost of all scaffolding and labour at all heights.

Applying one or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade on wood or metal, over primer coat or existing coat of paint after cleaning the surface, as per manufacturers specification.

Providing and applying fiber reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 (ASIAN PAINTS SMARTCARE DAMP PROOF OR EQUIVALENT) on top of concrete roof as per manufacturers specification. The operation shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer in-Charge.

Providing and fixing polyester powder coated aluminium sections in frame and shutters for doors, windows, ventilators, and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections / appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required diameter and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions with silicone sealants to prevent water ingress i.e., at top, bottom, and sides. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, made tight with EPDM rubber / neoprene gaskets and, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, hinges for shutters and all other necessary fixtures, including aluminium handles and bolts all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer in-charge. (Glazing / paneling to be paid for separately). Powder coating shall be ivory white colour with a minimum thickness of 50 micron.

Supplying and fixing 4mm thick float glass panes in existing ventilators, at all heights including removal of damaged glass panes if any

Providing and fixing PVC coated GI wire mesh of 2mm thick wire and spacing of 50mm x 50mm on openings in walls at all heights, fixed to walls with structural steel angles or strips. (payment for structural will be covered in respective items) Payment shall be for the masonry opening size.

Engaging man helper for cleaning works per day (8 hours /day)

Providing JCB / Excavator on hire for works including diesel charges, driver charges, transportation charges etc. complete

Disposing all dismantled debris including cleared vegetation, broken, bricks, ac sheets, pipes, stones etc. outside the premises of FACT at risk and cost of the contractor, either through recycling agencies or using land fill at permitted locations, including charges for collecting, loading, transporting, unloading, other fees and fines, third party expenses etc. complete

Providing and fixing on walls / RCC column face 100mm dia (4") PVC rainwater pipes, using SS clamps and nails and attaching one end to rain water gutters with proper sealants. The sections shall include necessary end pieces, bends, couplings, reducers etc

Supplying and fixing UPVC rain-water gutters of 150mm or nearest higher size square type UPVC pipe (EURO GUARD / AQUA STAR or equivalent), including connecting them to down water pipes with suitable joint sealants. The sections shall include necessary end pieces and down take pieces.

Removing corrosion of steel reinforcement by mechanical means like wire brushing, chipping to remove loose dust and applying rust removal solution "Reebaklens RR" by M/s FOSROC Chemicals or equivalent by using brush/spray application, leaving the surfaces for at least 15 to 30 minutes, then removing the loose materials by scrubbing or with brush and applying epoxy bond to the old concrete surface before applying Polymer repair mortar.

Supply and application of anti-corrosive chemicals with one or more coats of "NITO Zinc Primer" by M/s FOSROC Chemicals or equivalent over the exposed steel reinforcement as per manufactures specification including removing the rust, scales with wire brush/emery cloth or by mechanical buffing wheel/air and water jet etc at all heights including all materials and labour charge as per the instruction of Engineer in charge (EiC)

Providing and laying 25 mm average thick polymer modified latex mortar like "RENDROC SP40" of M/S FOSROC chemicals or equivalent with poly propylene fibers as per the manufacturers specification over the concrete surface roughened by chipping followed by water jetting including filling the crevices/ undulations flushing with adjacent surface curing etc., concrete at all heights including all material and labour charges and all as directed by EiC. And curing the surface by spraying water curing compound, "Concure WB" manufactured by M/s FOSROC Chemicals or equivalent.

Supplying, drilling/cleaning hole and fixing of HILTI / FISCHER Torque Controlled Expansion Anchor HST3 of HILTI or FAZ II of Fischer, of sizes ranging M10 / M12 / M16, to the specified embedment depth and activated with adequate torque as per manufacture’s specification, with the applicable tools and tackles, under the guidance of the manufacturer’s supervisor or authorised personnel.

Anchoring rebar after placing in position and inserting into the holes drilled and grouted using the grout manufactured by HILTI / FISCHER or equivalent make for beams as directed by the engineer in-charge. Rate shall include supply of all materials (except reinforcement rods), conveyance, all charges for cleaning the surface, drilling holes, fixing rebar, grouting etc., at all levels by HILTI / FISCHER authorised personnel (reinforcement rods will be paid in separate item) for 16mm / 20mm dia bars with HILTI RE-500 V4 adhesive or equivalent adhesive from FISCHER

Supply and installation of concealed conduit wiring for light point / exhaust fan with 1.5Sq.mm FRLSH PVC insulated stranded single core copper conductor cable through 20mm dia 1.5mm thick Electrical grade PVC conduit with ISI mark clamped in wall, ceiling or column including supply and fixing of 3 Plate ceiling rose in 3 x 3 PVC Box with UPVC cover in wall, 1 No 6A modular switch (LEGRAND 675501 or equivalent) modular plate in suitable type box concealed in wall and earthing with 1.5sq.mm insulated copper conductor etc. including supply of all fixing materials and accessories and interconnections complete as required.

Supply and installation of group controlled light points (from one light point to another light point), but without control switch.

Supply and installation of circuit/ submain wiring along with earth wire with the following sizes of FRLSH PVC insulated stranded single-core copper conductor cable, through 20mm / 32mm dia 1.5mm thick Electrical grade PVC conduit with ISI mark concealed in wall, ceiling or column or floor including supply of all fixing materials and interconnections complete as required for circuit wiring from the distribution board to first switch board. - 2 runs 2.5 sq.mm FRLSH PVC+ 2.5Sq.mm FRLSH PVC Copper conductor as earth wire.

Supply and installation of circuit/ submain wiring along with earth wire with the following sizes of FRLSH PVC insulated stranded single core copper conductor cable, through 20mm/32mm dia 1.5mm thick Electrical grade PVC conduit with ISI mark clamped/concealed in wall, ceiling or column or floor including supply of all fixing materials and interconnections complete as required for circuit wiring. Scope shall also include supply of Ceiling roses ond UPVC boxes with covers for fixing the ceiling roses for the installation of lilght fittings. Refer sl no. 2.0 of Annexure. - 2 runs 1.5 sq.mm FRLSH PVC. (For wiring light points inside godown)

Supply and installation of 3 pin 5/6 amps modular socket (LEGRAND 675551 or equivalent) outlet and 5/6 amps modular switch (LEGRAND 675501 or equivalent), with modular front plate and cover in suitable box concealed /surface in wall with all fixing materials and interconnections as required.

Supply and installation of 16A SP modular switch (LEGRAND 675511 or equivalent) modular front plate and cover in box suitable for modular switches mounted on wall including all fixing materials and interconnection complete as required. (For controlling the lights inside godown)

Supply and installation of 20W LED batten suitable for surface mounting prewired up to terminal block with all accessories such as drivers, lamp holders, lamp etc. with acrylic diffuser and with decorative end caps and all related accessories like rods for suspension, wires etc. (PHILIPS BN 021C LED 22S PSU CW GR or equivalent type of Crompton Greaves/ Philips /GE Lighting Ltd / WIPRO/ Havells)

Dismantling of all existing fittings and wirings from all heights and stacking the same at locations in the premises pointed out by engineer in charge.
