Dismantling of existing bituminous layer on road by cold milling machine in 70mm thickness in 7 mtr. width from Km. 84.160 to 87.300, 87.800 to 92.400 & 92.700 to 94.100 and planning the surface after cold milling, transportation to the hot mix plant site, hauling, stock pilling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carrying out necessary checks and evalyation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, mixing in batch type hot mix plant, transporting and laying at site and compacting to the required grade, level and thickness, all as specified in clause No. 519 of MORT&H-2013 . Note:- The quantity of reclaimed material shall be considered minimum 80% of the theoretical volume, The reclaimed material shall be use 30% of total qty of DBM as per clause no 519 of MORT&H specification.
Earth work by excavation for wdg. of road in all kinds of soil by mechanical means including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment and berms with all lead and lifts including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections complete in all respect as per x-section attached with DNIT as per clause No. 301 of MORT&H specification -2013.
Preparation of sub grade including trenching, rough dressing of spoil, final dressing of earth, to given levels and camber, watering, rolling with road roller, and compacting the bed.(HSR 24.1) Note: - In widening portion sub grade will be prepared with the use of Baby roller (HSR 24.1) or width of excavation should be made sufficient wide to accommodate road roller. Extra width required for compaction of sub grade shall not be paid and its expenditure shall be in incidental to the work.
Costruction of earth work on berm with excavated soil from deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from foundations of other sturctures graded and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 complete in all respect as per x- section attached with DNIT . Any extra quantity over and above the quantity provided in the DNIT , required for construction of embankment / berm shall be incidental to work. If the quantity required less than the provided quantity in the DNIT , than only required shall be paid.
Providing and laying earth work on berms in all kinds of soils obtained from borrow area with all leads and lift, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 as per clause no. 305 of MOR&TH specification 2013 complete in all respect as per x-section attached with DNIT , The finished road surface will be as per X - section attached / approved by Engineer -in-charge. Note :- (i if the quantity of earth work calaculated with respect of NSL and finished level found to be less than the 18532.00 Cum then the actual quantity (i.e. less than 18532.00 Cum ) will be paid .In case the quantity worked out is more than that of 18532.00 Cum , then only 18532.00 Cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid . (ii) No earth work will be allowed from PWD land. this item also includes E/w if required in sub grade for widening and sholuder. Earth used for sub grade. shoulder and berms should have minimum CBR 8%.
Providing & laying 225 mm thick (Compacted) in widening portion stone metal (G-I) 63 to 45mm gauge wearing coat to Water Bound Macadam in layer of 75mm using screening type 'B' compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications of road & bridges (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respect. (N.S.) Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by the engineer.
Providing & laying 150 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to 100 mm thick Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) respectively specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub-base/base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per clause No. 406 of MoRT&H specification -2013 as per drawings and design complete in all respects. Providing and laying Primer coat over WMM surface with bitumen emulsion SS-I Grade using 6kg/10 Sqm. area. The construction operation shall conform to as per clause no. 502 of MORT&H specification - 2013 including cost of bitumen emulsion, complete in all respects. Instructions issued by MORT&H from time to time regarding bitumen emulsion will be followed strictly.
Providing and laying bituminous tack coat of bitumen VG-10 grade using 2 kg. per 10 sqm area on WMM surface complete in all respects including cost of bitumen VG-10 as per clause No. 503 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/latest edition Instructions issued by MORT&H from time to time regarding bitumen will be followed strictly.
Providing and laying 80 mm Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam (DBM) in one layers with the use of reclaimed excavated material from cold milling of existing bituminous layers to the extent up to 30 percent (30%) of the required quantity after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh coarse/ fine aggregates and bitumen of VG-30 grade to have overall minimum 4.00% bitumen content and including rejuvenators as required, mixing in a batch type hot mix plant with appropriate arrangement for use of RAP, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher having sufficient screed width so that the DBM in full width of the carriage way is laid in single opration without any longititutinal joint to with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and with pneumatic tyred roller (PTR) of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPa and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as specified in clause 519 of MORT&H specification 5th revision-2013. If bitumen required is more than 4.00% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. NOTE :- Job mix formula shall be approved by Employer in writing before start of work. Thickness of DBM laid over the existing Black Top surface is to be adjusted in such a manner that a camber of 2.5% is achieved. Any extra quantity over and above the quantity provided in the DNIT, required to achieve 2.5% camber shall be incidental to work Note: - Before laying DBM on existing road surface, any existing pot holes and cracks shall be repaired and sealed in accordance with clause No. 3004.2 and 3004.3. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in M.B. but no payment on this account shall be made, these are incidental to work. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.
Providing and laying 40 mm compacted thickness of Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 80-100 TPH Batch Type Hot Mix Plant with bituminous binder VG-40 @ 5.4% (minimum) and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher having sufficient screed width so that the BC in full width of the carriage way is laid in single opration without any longititutinal joint with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and with pneumatic tyred roller (PTR) of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPa and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H specification (Vth revision)-2013 Clause No. 507 complete in all respect. Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflector zing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Providing & fixing road side delineator of height 1200 mm made of M. S. tube size 100 x 80 mm having thickness 1.2mm of height 900 mm and balance 300 mm of M. S. angle 25 x 25 x 3 mm. Having micro prismatic retro-reflective panel conforming to IRC : 67-2012 type 4 HIP and of size 80mm x 150mm on both sides as per clause No. 800 of MORT&H. Complete delineator processed by heat treatment process to makes it resistant to all weather effects fixed in C.C. 1:2:4 block size of 300 x 300 x 450 mm as clause No. 806 of MORT&H specification 5th revision 2013.
