Taking down defective Geyser /Storage water heater of any pattern/capacities from existing position/place comprising of the following tasks :- (a) Inspection , taking down (dismantling ), descalling, brushing, cleaning of storage tank & painting internally with one coat of proprietary bituminous composition not liable to impart taste or odour or otherwise contaminate water. (b) Examine water tightness of storage tank after cleaning. (c) Carryout operation of all stopcosk, pressure reducing valves etc to enure free movement of the working parts. (d) Replace washers and glands of all taps & ball valves to ensure water tightness. (e) Inspect oferflow/vent pipes & remove blockages obstructions if any. (f) Check and correct earth continuity of electrical parts.

(g) Check,maintain and refit thermostats & test its functioning. (h) Checking and adjustment of pressure reducing valve (j) Checking of dead weight type high pressure release valve (HPRV) by removing dead weight position cleaning the seat & ensuring that the vent hole is not blocked/chocked.

(k) Visual examination of fusible plug to ensure its intactness. (l) Descalling of the immersion type heating element cleaning with diluted, hydrochloric acid solution & testing before refitting. (m) Replacement of the rubber /PVC gasket to ensure water tightness. (o) Testing of geyser after repairs. (p) Refixing of geyser after testing & replacement of defective parts including new hold -fastened incuding necessary PCC work complete all as specified and directed

S&F in replacement heating element of 2KW rating as required at site including rubber washers of ISI marked.

Supply in replacement of thermostat for the geyser of following capacities with ISI marked :-

S & F in repalcement of PVC connection pipe with two brass adaptors 450mm long & connecting up complete all as specified and directed
