CIVIL WORK

Dismantling reinforced cement concrete and clearing away and carefully stacking materials useful for reuse as directed by the departmental officers.

Earth work excavation for foundation in all classes of soils and sub-soils and to full depth as may be directed except in hard rock requiring blasting including initial leads and lifts and refilling the sides of foundation with excavated earth in 150 mm layers well watered, rammed and consolidated including depositing surplus earth within the godown or inside compound in places shown with initial lead of 10 mts and initial lift of 2 mts. clearing, levelling the site, shoring, strutting, bailing of water wherever necessary etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed.

Supplying and filling in foundation and basement with clean M. sand in layers of not exceeding 150mm thick well watered, rammed and consolidated including watering etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed.

CEMENT CONCRETE 1:5:10(one cement , five sand and ten aggregate)using 40mm gauge hard broken granite stone jelly for foundation including de-watering side shuttering , strutting, wherever necessary including curing etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed.

Reinforcement Cement Concrete 1:2:4 ( one cement, two sand, four aggregate) using 20mm of hard broken granite stone for all RCC works using machine for mixing concrete excluding cost of centering, Strutting, shuttering, and fabrication of reinforcement and placing the grills in position etc., but including finishing and curing etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed. Foundation and Basement.

In ground Floor Upto 4.5 M Height above basement.

Providing FORM WORK for centering the soffits of all reinforcement concrete work including strutting to the required (3 metre) height with mild steel sheets of size 90cm x60cm 10gauge stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25mm x 25mm x 3mm laid with country wood joist of average of size 10cm x 6.50cm at about 90cm centers with casuarinas props of 13cm dia at 75cm centre to centre with all nails coir, wedges complete and removing the form work after necessary curing period as directed by the corporation officers. The rates should inclusive of cutting, bending, welding charges of M.S.sheets; M.S.angles etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed. Roof slab, beam, lintel etc

RCC columns and sunshades.

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position MS/RTS grills for reinforcement for all R.C.C.works including cost of steel, labour for straightening, bending, cranking, tying grills with 18 gauge galvanized binding wire and placing grills in position complete complying with standard specification and as directed.

BRICK WORK in cement mortar 1:5(One cement, Five sand)using best quality IInd Class Chamber burnt Bricks of size 9”x4 3/8 x2 3/4’ for walls including cost of scaffolding curing , finishing etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed. In foundation and basement.

In ground floor upto 4.50M height above basement.

Brick partition wall in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement three sand ) 11.50 cm thick using good quality second class chamber burnt bricks of size 9” x 4 3/8” x 2 ¾” including cost of scaffolding , curing finishing etc complete complying with standard specification an as directed by the departmental officers.

PLASTERING with the exposed RCC surface with C.M.1:3(one cement and three sand) 12mm thick with WPC 2% by weight of cement including cost of scaffolding, finishing, curing etc., complete complying with standard Specification and as directed.

PLASTERING with cement mortor 1:5 (one cement and five sand) 12mm thick including cost of scaffolding, finishing, curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed.

Painting two coats of newly plastered wall surface with ready mixed plastic emulsion paint of first class approved quality and colour over a priming coat including thorough scrapping, clean removal of dirt, and including necessary plaster of paris putty, wherever required etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed.

Weathering course in brick jelly lime concrete using broken brick jelly of size 20mm uniform gauge in pure slaked lime (no sand to be used) to the proportion of brick jelly to lime being 32:12.5 by volume and laid over the RCC roof slab in a single layer of required slope and finished by beating the concrete with wooden beaters of approved pattern, keeping the surface constantly wet by sprinkling lime jaggery water, etc., complete as per standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Finishing the top of roof with one course of machine pressed tiles of size 23x23x2cm laid in cement mortar 1:2 (one of cement and two of sand)mixing with water proofing compound confirming to ISS at 2% weight of cement used and pointed with water proofing compound mixed with red oxide etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and fixing of 110mm dia PVC rain water down fall pipes of including cost of PVC specials fixing them in position with necessary shoes, bends, clamps, TW plugs, screws, nails etc., complete. As per standard specifications.

Dadooing the walls with glazed tiles of size 150mmx150mmx6mm of approved quality and colour over a base layer of C.M.1:2, 10mm and pointing the joints with white cement mixed with colouring pigment at the rate of 0.40 kg/sq.m neatly in all floors, curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (The tiles should be got approved by the Executive engineer before use on works).

Paving the flooring with Ceramic tiles of size 305x305x6mm of approved quality and colour over a base layer of C.M.1:3, 20mm thick in all floors used 0.20 kg / m2 including finishing the joints and pointing flush with even surfaces etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed.. (The tiles should be got approved by the Executive engineer before use on works).

Supply and fixing Solid PVC door shutters using 19 Gauge 19mm MS square tubes for styles and outer frames. 15mm MS square tubes for top, lock bottom rails the steel tubes shall be covered with 5mm thick solid PVC sheets shutter using 5mm thick solid PVC sheet for paneling shall rigidly fixed in position including necessary furniture and fittings. The over all size of styles shall be 50mm x30mm. The over all size of top rail lock rail and bottom rail shall be 75mmx30mm. The over all size of frames shall be 50mmx45mm with suitable shutter.

ALUMINIUM VENTILATOR Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position aluminum anodized natural colour matt finish louvered ventilator of size 600 mm x 600 mm with outer frame section with 62 x 38 x 2 mm at 1.174 Kg / m and the louvered with moving arrangements made with alluminium channel of size 60 x 30 x 4 mm at 1.274 Kg / m alluminium clips 19.05 x 17.27 / 11.05 x 0.075 mm at 0.169 Kg / m with necessary 4 mm thick plain glass panel for louvers including cost of all materials, labour and power required for fabrications, chipping dismantling making holes in RCC masonry and made good to the original condition after fixing etc complete. The alluminium surface is to be anodized with matt finish under electrically controlled condition in accordance with ISI Specification 1868 / 1962 for anodic film thickness of not less than 15 micron etc complete.

Supplying and fixing of M.S Gate in two leaves with B Class pipe of size 50mm dia pipe alround and 15cm dia pipe vertically at 15cm intervals including fixing of 18 gauge M.S.Sheet at bottom of gate 50cm height including cost of all furniture fittings, aligning, fixing in position with two coats of anti corrosive metallic nut brown colour paint over one coat of primer etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. Main gate of size 6.00m x 1.80m.

Supplying and fixing in position CI manhole covers with CI frames (Heavy duty) of size 60cm x 60cm of best approved quality as per standard specification.
